    I’ve been struggling so bad with my swing that I thought there was no hope for me. I’ve watched so many videos, have tried so many different things and nothing seemed to click with me. I stumbled upon your video about 3 am this morning. Went to the driving range before my round and applied your technique and wow! I’ve never hit the ball with such consistency in my life. Thank you so, so much for posting this video. Could only play 9 holes, but shot a 38. Cool thing is that I was able to repeat it over and over again. I really hope others benefit from this as I did.

    As I high handicapper I can tell you I have not done this once never finished facing target and while messing about in kitchen realised this wrist follow thru was stopping me properly coming round and was stuck

    Thanks for the tips, I practiced for a week and then played a three day golf weekend with some mates. Stableford scoring based off my GA handicap, I scored a 41, 45 and 42. Fair to say my handicap will be coming down.

    There is something I've discovered just lately, thanks to Mike Milaska, and it really helped me. Everything you're saying is true. However, you cannot forget how the wrists work doing this. The lead wrist releases differently than the trail wrist. I've always taken my grip palm to palm. This is wrong! The lead wrist should be stronger than the trail wrist. I changed my grip just slightly and picked up about 50 yards off tee and began hitting my irons much more solidly. The lead wrist hits like a hammer, the trail wrist like a slap.

    Hi Craig, would love to see you do a video on Scottie Scheffler - huge lateral move in the downswing - I guess he needs that given he doesn't have a sharp angle coming down. Thanks

    Craig, great video. Do you think it is important to get pressure in your lead foot early and extend along with the release ?

    • @CraigHansonGolf
      @CraigHansonGolf  16 дней назад

      Yes … i wish i could get more pressure into the lead foot .. what do you mean with extend along with the release?

    Great content. Maybe review the 40%/30% visual/kinesthetic learning modality data. How would blind people learn new motor skills? Different strokes/emphasis on modalities for different folks. I was a biomechanics student of Rob Neal at UQ many moons ago.

    • @CraigHansonGolf
      @CraigHansonGolf  6 месяцев назад

      Blind people would learn difficulty because they can’t learn visually… perhaps they have enhanced learning skills through Auditory/kinesthetic.
      I’m not doing videos for blind people. You can google those stats if you like.

    You could hang on to the angle, like Tommy Fleetwood, but you’d have to have so much sidebend, like Tommy does, that I don’t think you’d be playing for long 🤣

      Yes you can i’ve used it as a main swing thought at times.
