I tried to beat Terraria using the Universe Of Swords Mod, this mod introduces hundreds of new items into the game centered around swords and the melee class, there are an unimaginable number of swords to choose from and each one has their very own unique abilities and damage, Will I be able to defeat the Moon Lord only using swords, well let's find out !

The WoF spawns heading towards the world spawn
For future reference if no one has told you yet: The side the wall of flesh spawns on decides on which half of the world you're on, it's why most players build a hellavator right beside their spawn because you spawn in the middle of the world, hope this helps! :D

You realize he reptedly uses clips out of order when voicing over it right? He's talked about weapons he's had when he's already stopped using them, or shows them on screen before they should be there multiple times throughout this video and others. It seems quite obvious that he didn't edit it so the voice over and clips matched the way they were surpised to

Only i saw that he had butterfly wings witch you can get by only killing moths witch have a 50% chance of dropping butterfly dust
AND they drop only if all machs are killed

But fairy wings you can with 100 pixie dust and 20 souls of flight
He cheated lmao. Another example is using a post moonlord weapon on moon lord, the Edge Lord.

It would be cool if you could combine the zenith and the sword of the universe to make a sword that has the same effect as the zenith, dealing 10x more dps.
that would legit be so many times weaker then the sword of the universe. just an idea of how strong is it that wave it fires over kills moonlord by uhhhh like 300 times or so

@@Shadowical ok so it already does enough damage to one shot any boss that i know of including ones that have billions of health and the wave is the size of the screen and goes for who knows how long. Gonna be real with you more damage then it already does would be useless as it would be interger overflow which makes it negative and the looping from xenith would be a down grade. So as good as it sounds it would be worse

fun fact: the nightmare amalgamation homes in on enemies, which you know, but they home in on pillars EVEN while their shield is up the the projectiles dont despawn from what ive seen so you can stack a bunch of projectiles on a pillar, kill the enemies, then as soon as u kill the last enemy u instantly kill the pillar
Good to see this old mod is still get some traction. Mind doing a follow up? Would be nice to see some more of the swords I did art for in action.
He never noticed that the reason the eater was so powerful was it used the scourge of the corruption projectile, a post-planterra weapon
Boio got the master sword.

As someone who has gone through Universe of Swords mod very thoroughly, and yes, that means I crafted the Sword of the Multiverse legit
You missed out on a lot of great swords, like the piano swords for example, the dungeon one in particular would have been a great help, though sourcing all the necessary pieces are a bit more painful

I actually didn't know that, I've watched a little bit of Toriko, but I never got to see that. It does look to be like that.
Though I am sure that the original one doesn't shoot all the projectiles and make that loud sound when swinging
I know it would take longer to make these videos if you were to play on expert, but it makes the video much more entertaining imho.
Face tanking every hit in normal is just kind of boring and doesn't make it feel like it's really a challenge at all.
But anyways, nice video.

yeah i kinda agree… i’ve been doing a calamity malice mode melee play through and it is absolutely insane… like the difficulty of it is ridiculous. so then seeing normal mode is kinda underwhelming imo
I mean he cheats too, an example of this is using a post moonlord weapon to beat moonlord. You can see it at the end, he uses edge lord then quickly switches it back. There's not even a semblance of a challenge here. He blatantly cheats.

This mod is one of the greatest mods. One of the first tmodloader videos I saw (5 years ago) was this one. I really like this mod, its sprites have charm, the swords arent super complicated, and I really like shredding bosses with the swords.

It likely that you didn’t know this but the design of the multiverse of sword is from the manga/anime called Toriko and it’s technically a knife that is use to cut air(O2)to cook air(the food name) if you couldn’t tell this is a cooking manga/anime check it out it’s pretty weird but a good series

I really do enjoy this mod truly but I will say this it is a pain to grind for certain materials like specific types of crates cause some of the blades require crates, really rare vanilla swords or hundreds of specific crafting materials to craft ONE of the NINE pieces of the true endgame weapon. I swear I’ve done it but only when using Fargo’s Souls mod because of the loot changes it gave to the King Slime to actually get the golden crates and the ability to spawn the pillars cause they also drop blades you need. It’s honestly a super long process but I’d say the results speak for themselves.

I love that mostly everyone I watch who’s plays terraria got bored with the game so they used mods but I’m stuck here making a plan to defeat skeletron on expert mode.

i actually have this multiverse sword
the crafting is really insanely hard you need to grind and farm alot of events like the pumkin and frost and blood moon same as solar to get some of the main items
but mostly the sword matter really hits hard if you don't have enough of them
So, insane like needing every single moded sword or insane like calamity mod endgame swords that are just too fucking stupid to craft because of the amount of material

Those seem great, but i feel like some swords are a little bit exagerated, and this comes from someone who plays calamity mod regularly, so i know when a weapon is exagerated

What cracks me up is swords eventually become ranged weapons. There isn't a great solution to this but its not really melee..

heres a thing about the wall of flesh if you make your hellevator in the middle of the world (where you spawned)
and if you walk to west the wall of flesh will spawn to west but if you go to east the wall of flesh will spawn in east
also you could have farmed the eater of worlds to get more of those sword soul things
i felt some buddy fight Gargantua Punisher vibes from that scarlet flare great sword
that mod is fun man but kinda op cause of a weapon crafted from the bone key from dungeon guardian and the biome chests which easily beat some calamity bosses... on malice mode
