Remember, inflation is not rising prices. Rising prices are the symptom of the government increasing the supply of currency units relative to goods and services.
This benefits the political ruling class and devalues the currency of the citizens.
That is the problem of the federal reserve. They do not answer to the government. They are not a government, but a private entity. So, the government goes and says, we need money to pay for big pharma or the Ukraine. Trump signing a $6.2 trillion stimulus, is increasing money supply, and every time that happens, it costs us more in taxes and things end up more expensive. But, conveniently, Fox doesn't blame Trump for squat. Problem, reaction, solution. What is the problem? This administration is crap. What is the reaction? We need someone new. What is the solution? This is the part I really don't get. That electricity comes from somewhere, a very small percentage comes from solar panels and wind farms. Most of it comes from coal and nuclear plants which both have environmental consequences.
