- A journey with Metro North’s Conductor Paul is never boring. I am joined by Ian and Cooper for a ride from Croton-Harmon to GCT. We get a few highlights of the ride but mostly we capture the skills, antics, and his unique sense of humor that helps make rides for the passengers an experience not soon forgotten. I’d like to cover the activities of an Engibeer on a typical run but it is easier with a Conductor since they are mostly

I saw Conductor Paul a little over a week ago at Croton-Harmon. I was like "he looks familiar, but I don't remember his name!" He was prepping a local train to GCT, so I didn't bother him because I could tell he had more important things to handle. His announcements are stellar. I almost rode his train just for them.
Fantastic video. Great publicity for MNR's fine, customer-focused employees like Paul.
Wow, this guy Conductor Paul has a great skill set. It cannot be taught, you either have it or you don't. As we would say here in the UK: he's a top bloke.

Thanks for another great video. All passenger service railroads could use a conductor like you had. You could not ride that train without leaving with a smile. I could not believe how good he was with his ticket punch. He must have trained on the Polar Express. I am sure many children will never forget riding with him if he does the ticket punch face or believe for them. I hope everyone has a nice Christmas and Happy, healthy New Year and look forward to more great entertaining videos.

FYI Caltrain got two more EMU’s the other two EMU’s got their 1000’s miles on them Caltrain inform the news media that the EMU’s will be in service in the fall of 2024
