Just go into the steam controller settings and edit the deadzone from there. Yes you'll have to do it for every game but you dont need any extra software You can even add non steam games to steam and create a controller layout for the non steam game Also works with games that dont even have controller support
They are Hall Effect joysticks! They are the best you can have, period! The issue is in the STEAM settings. Just put the dead zones to zero and boom! Perfect.
@@yohon6360 i i feel you lol ion even got mine yet but yeah either today or next friday saw it on some videos about the updates they supposedly said themselves they are really pushing updates for this device
Large dead zone tolerances are usually for joysticks that eventually get drift. But the Go has Hall effect sensors so drift isn’t an issue. I don’t know why they have such large dead zones in the Go
As much as I would love to try....adding another layer of software sounds like something that can just trip Activision's trigger happy ban button....I have waaaaay too much money put into Activision games across multiple platforms to risk getting banned. Granted, it may not get you banned either but I rather be safe than sorry.

True and that is FANTASTIC!! However if you aren't near a flat surface or simply don't want to play on one (in bed or elsewhere) you have to use the joystick or at least the touchpad.
Don’t launch the game in 1600p. Put TDP in performance, OS in efficiency, and run the game on recommended setting to begin with. Also you should go into bios and change the UMA Frame Buffer Size to 4g. Default is 3g if I remember right. That’s all I’ve done and the game runs great, never once had a crash.
The same thing happens on my Ally and Go… It must be a Steam/MW3 thing. It drives me nuts. I have to boot it three times most nights to get it going but once it does, it runs great - 90+ FPS on recommended settings and looks awesome!
Deadzone is something to do with the joysticks and cant be fix with a software or any software updates. Your problem is the sensitivity. Legion Go already has the best joystick.
Lol its literally a software issue, to be specific a firmware issue, its present for every game there is, and lenovo themselves said its the software and they are going to fix it by mid december
This did fix it. I did have to pay 14 Dollars to use the features in the video but it really feels worth it and a major difference. Good tips!
Thank you, worked like a charm. I almost returned mine until this video
Good to hear bro i also almost returned mine but im glad I didn’t and Lenovo is releasing more updates so this is only going to get better

Great video, if for any reason this is not working for you on December 5th lenovo plan to release the deadzone fix🤞
It's the settings on your control set up every call of duty has it 😊

It's not dead zone. It's acceleration. You changed the acceleration curve.
ok thanks nice to know still I hope they fix this

Is there a fix from Lenovo themselves now?

Can I use PlayStation remote play using this
I haven't tried it, but I would be surprised if you can't. It's running Windows 11.
Yeah you definitely can. I've seen another youtuber that does a lot of Legion Go content and he's used his Dualsense controller with it.

deadzones cover about 25% of the center out of the box across all games. its definitely Lenovo being super conservative with the default behavior.
