OMG --- today is the day I learned there once existed a TV show " Gilmore Girls" ( 16 years after the show went off the air ). NYT headlines : " Remember the Ice Cream Maker Lorelai Gilmore Got as a Wedding Gift ? " So --- through the NYT headline I learned of the show . And after watching this little episode I learned how much I missed ---- absolutely NOTHING. How can you waste your time on this tripe ? OK Lorelai is adorable ( doesn`t hurt to have the name of the German siren ) --- but really ----
I love this series so much brilliant writers flawless acting! None of us are here we are just all figments of one anothers imagination..that would have been my response to the mom.

You know, Francine always gave me the impression that she didn't exactly think like her husband, but Straub was very controlling she never found the courage to stand up to him.
That TJ character is awful. It lowered the quality of the show by leaps and bounds. What a shame they had the actor that played TJ or that there even was this character. The only redeeming part is that one can fast forward past him. Liz is fine but ugh! I detest that TJ man.
I loved the Gilmore girls but at diner they use only their fork wich is not proper etiquette. Specially at the Parents house this should have been a given.
I think Lorelei 's character was very selfish .... And about her love life ... She wanted both luke and Christopher and wanted to keep one as a backup everytime ... She said she wanted nothing from her parents but ended up everytime taking money from them... Infact she could not do anything of her own still she was so proudy. . she had enough to live lavishly ..ordering food everyday and not repeating any of her dresses and travelling places but when she wanted money for major things she dint have any ... Always wanted money from one or the other .. never respected her parents .. .. her character was not good
