    I bought a 2nd hand one (hardly used) for my daughter-in-law and son when they had twins. It is a fab bit of kit! I wish they had been around when mine were little!
    I'd say ditch buying a moses basket and get one of these. Moses baskets last far less time and only do one thing. This is ideal for Mums who have had surgery, as baby can be wheeled around with Mum and can be lowered to a manageable height, say you are sitting on the sofa.
    I bought the crib mattress and meal kit too, so it can be used for quite some time.
    I wouldn't say the foot print is too big, compared with the average moses stand, and those are not easily moved around so the fact that you can wheel this out of the way, is perfect!

    • @harrisonmudge
      @harrisonmudge  3 года назад

      I'd totally agree with you Michelle to be honest. Especially with the comparison of a moses basket. This is still being used now and our little one is nearly 2. It's going to be a sad day when we can no longer use it!

    I’ve just bought one of these for my first grandchild. Ironically to keep her safe & out of sniffing/licking range of Frank & Flo….my Frenchies! Baby isn’t due for a few months, but I already think this is going to be worth every penny. Especially for me as I have a chronic pain condition & don’t bend very well.

    • @harrisonmudge

      Haha that’s great! We love frenchies.

      Good luck with everything ☺️

      Hey Braenn thank you for the great comment and really glad you liked the review. Yes the opinion I share is genuine and we’re still using the 4 in 1 today as his high chair. It’s been one of the best investments we made to date. As I mention in the review, it does have a big footprint but it’s multi purpose use means you’re saving space elsewhere

    Great review. Our little one is now 1 yr old and we got a changing table attachment which we used when he was around 6 months as I have a bad back as you can adjust the height. I would sit on the sofa and change his nappy, it was only 20quid which was more affordable for us in our tiny flat.
    And the high chair table and have used this loads since we weaned him.

    Is the bassinet option safe for sleeping? The new version is called Air and it looks like the new one meets the standards for ventilation necessary for a new born.
    I see that a lot of next to me bassinets also do not have an air option and people use them for day and night sleep…

      Hey, good question. So with the specific model we have which we have the little mattress for too it said it’s ok for day time sleeping but not night time. We did only ever use it for day time naps too as we had a bedside crib for night time.
      We always followed the guidance when ever possible with that sort of thing as you just never know.

    • @harrisonmudge
      @harrisonmudge  Год назад

      Yea for a newborn it’s best to get a mattress. The one it comes with is pretty thin but you can get one specifically from them for this. But really any will do. We never strapped our baby in to it. Only when he got older and used as a high chair, that’s when we started using the straps.

    • @harrisonmudge
      @harrisonmudge  2 года назад

      Hey, thanks. No it’s definitely not something you want to have to move up and down stairs everyday. It’s fine to wheel in to a different room but you’d give up after one day trying carry up a flight of stairs!

    Great review. What do you think of the mattress? Is it too thin and soft and saggy? I just worried about the back support as usually the experts recommend to use a firm mattress with certain thickness for newborn. Did you take the belts out before putting the mattress? Or just on top of the belts?

    • @harrisonmudge
      @harrisonmudge  3 года назад +5

      Hey Cheinyoong thanks for the comment. Yes the little mattress piece that comes with it is SUPER thin and flimsy, it’s ok for when they’re older and sitting in it as a high chair but not when they are newborn.
      We got an additional mattress for it when we bought it. That was a better and thicker mattress for baby to lay on. We also used added a blanket in there too so baby was comfortable. That additional mattress sat on top of the thin mattress and belts and was firm enough that baby couldn’t feel the belts underneath.
      Hope that helps 😄

    Hello, thanks for the video, maybe you can help me with this: In highchair mode, does the leg support support stays in place and how? Mine is moving up and down, I can't figure it out . Thanks

    • @harrisonmudge
      @harrisonmudge  3 года назад

      Hey Emm. Hmm sounds a bit odd. So I’m order to adjust the height up and down you have to press the big button type thing on the base with your foot right? On mine it will only move up and down so long as i keep my foot pressing the button.
      As soon as I take my foot off the button the adjustable arm locks in place. Is that not the case with yours?
      Sounds like it could be a fault? Or maybe the button is jammed down?
      When I press the button with my foot it definitely requires a little bit of force before it ‘clicks’ loose.
      If not it may be worth contacting the manufacturer.

      If it is the same clips, there’s a tab on the clip that you’ll need to press with one hand and pull the clip off with the other.
