We were there in Jan + March + saw the Chinese new year displays in all the malls too.👌We took our 3 kids to the movies for only $20 cad 🤯. The science center on top floor is cool too. We never went to bungkus kawkaw but i loved the vietnemese in the suria food court and the curry mee 👌. I loved nasi lemak when i was there but ordered it with beef rendang + no fried anchovies. My kids shared the curry mee but that was enough adventure + they got subway the next time lol. Our fav was the boost smoothie place before hitting up the waterpark. The aquarium is connected to the mall on lower ground and we loved it. Definitely a fun place to visit as a family 👌

Good for u to try the wrapped in banana leaf package. Most tourist come go to nasi lemak joint that serve on a plate. Nasi lemak wrap in brown paper or banana leaf is level 9000. The drinks serve in the bag is a local lifestyle thing. You get more liquid and ice serve in a bag compare to a glass. To actually experience this u need to go to Mamak shop, ask for drinks in "mangkuk" or bowl. Bungkus Kaw Kaw doesnt give enough liquid in their bag.

If you want fried food hot just be sure the check out if the fryer is on and sizzling then you will get the freshly fried banana, unlike in north America and most of the world (only cavendish) there's a variety of bananas in Malaysa (even gros michel bananas that used to be popular in the us before 1960s) they all have different flavors just like the different types of apples.
