The aim of these government scholarships is to make education accessible to all irrespective of candidate’s caste, creed, or class. Government Scholarships 2022 - Funded by Central Government
The central government scholarships are funded by the Government of India and disbursed at the state/district level. These scholarships are applicable to Indian citizens irrespective of the state to which they belong. Some of the major departments of the Government of India which are involved in providing scholarship opportunities for students include:

Scholarship should be based on the merit and knowledge basis not on marks and percentage basis.

Meanwhile, You all are saying that a student having 50% marks and another having 95% marks so both are equal hardworking. Right . So both deserve if yes then why 50% scored students didn't work of getting top scored. And yes please don't follow whom who says I was poor and weak . My 1 friend is from reserved catagory she got admission in engeneering Maharashtra on just 71% and she got social hostel and mess jiska kharcha uska zero rupaye hai and even after this free hostel and mess she got 30k of years from government for her other stationary and etc things ,,, and we open vale not even getting Bams on 400 marks agr mil v Jaye to 2lakh har saal kharcha mess hostel alg se 60k aur isme bhi ham single parent ke bachhe ho ya EWS hamse discount krke bhi 1 lakh se niche koi nhi ata government has to make equality between each student just frustrating for those jinka family background financially weak hai aur unko pdhna h
