Wait... never mind all the rest. Why did you drill out the centre *THEN* flip it over and cut the important part? Those groves will be off-centre from the bore exactly how much your 3-jaw chuck is out. If you had flipped it and then drilled, it would have been perfectly centred no matter how good or bad the chuck.

@@bugagames1239 First operation facing with grooving tool then finishing facing with second tool but now using Z axis, turning. I'd face rough facing with stronger tool SNMG insert because it's interrupted cut then a finish cut with your DCMT insert. Then you turning OD with grooving tool and insted of turning you facing, using X axis. But I'd center drill first. Support a part with tailstock so I have rigid setup. Rough turn OD making nice short chips. Finish pass. Then flip it. Indicate. Then ID turning. After that I'd groove to full depth but slower and with coolant so it wouldnt chatter so bad. Then turn tool post and use it to feed 70 degrees not 20 like you. You use side edge of grooving tool making hot burning chips. Pain to watch really. Also depth could be grater so when a belt become worn it still has nice grip. Nice dog BTW. Cheers.

Never ever you got it in 7 minutes. With worng tools, 4 different drills, change too times the setting, to get the angle for the groove, too times changing the jaws. Whart about messuring?
And what about the Feet of the dog? He should not to be there!
