Tom B. He's got much more control over his voice now, especially if comparing to a couple of years ago. He puts a lot more force behind his singing, making almost yelling, like in the chorus, but it sounds really solid.
oggel33t The yelling is excactly what I am talking about, I mean, I like his voice, and I also think he has some talent, since he didnt have a proper vocal coach until Scream Aim Fire, but after his operation his voice is just not what ut used to be. A good singer or a singer with a healthy voice wouldnt need to yell or shout to sound powerful. You can hear the straining in some parts of the chorus, it sounds really tense and unhealthy
Tom B. Yeah but I wonder what causes it though? Cause he's clearly been getting better and better and now even the lower tones all of a sudden sounds strained.. Screaming sounds hella good though. Hope he will solve the problem, cause I feel really sorry for his voice when I hear this.
Maybe there is some scar tissue on his vocal folds that prevents him from singing some notes without straining, something like that can happen after surgery...

Seems like they are back, Matts voice seems like its coming back to his original voice, which is good, glad this song is good too. Hope I get to see him one of these days
Angel Martinez Yeah was surprised and very glad to see him screaming his parts again....haven't seen Matt scream live in years. Not that I know of anyway, he may have but not from what I saw. Agreed, glad things are coming back for the boys!! So pumped to see them in August!

I am actually really impressed, not only No Way Out is an amazing song but also they seem to going well with Jamie (if I remember right his name) and Matt vocals are getting better! He can still improve his clean vocals but the screamo ones was absolutely mindblowing! Padge and Moose was great as always! I kinda miss Jay but well there is nothing I can do about it, but Jamie seems like a really nice guy not to mention that he is such a good musician! I hope they come to Greece this year cause I haven't see them live ever...

Cuando vi por primera ves este video incluyendo este mismo tema del album venom y escuche el grito de matt. me dije a mi mismo. A vueltooooooooo. No es muy potente su calidad vocal como antes, pero hay que valorar que esta haciendo lo que le gusta y lo que nos gusta a nosotros. This is really cool. It’s totally imperfect which makes it authentic but it sounds really good.
Venom was by far one of their best albums. Such amazing guitar tones and vocals and crashing drums. And the best part none of this lame electronic crap everyone is doing now. Just some rad dudes, loud instruments and, I’m sorry but that bass player is a major upgrade.

I think they were on point in this performance, it all sounded really good. Shame the vocals were a bit too quiet. The new bassist fits in really well with the band too :)
Holy shit, this was a bloody good performance. To be honest I didn't enjoy temper temper and I'm glad that you're back with what most of your fanbase (including myself) missed. Matt's voice is more powerful than ever. The only thing I'd work on are the lyrics, they're a bit generic. However it sounds amazing, fucking amazing. Poison meets Fever, GIVE IT UP FOR VENOM!!!!
