It’s a dangerous rabbit hole to enter into because the perspective becomes “I’ll never be content until I am with “the one” “ ..as opposed to, contentment is my decision with whom ever I “choose”. Wrestling with this when you’re single is one thing and another when you’re in a relationship. I married the “second one” and when things got tough and those “did I make the right choice” questions started circling my mind, what anchored me was the fact that we shared a vision and purpose together. Our lives were compatible. His calling aligned with mine and there was an abundance of evidence to show this.
I could have had all the chemistry in the world with my first but our lives weren’t compatible. Lastly your soul mate has to choose you too! And no “twin flame” magic is going to make a person see you as a soul mate if they don’t. Your ex is your ex because they more than likely didn’t want to choose you. That’s ok. He taught you what you valued in a man and so when the next comes along, you’ll be able to identify those qualities easily. They’re not going to be the same people but the next man will allow your femininity to flourish just the same.

I grew up on streets of NYC. I learned how to be a lady from men starting with my big brother. He fought for me if I were in trouble. Etc etc.We frequented a bingo hall on west 74 street. There's a reason. He was THERE! When he wasn't supposed to be. I was 7 he was 11. He told me he will be coming back to in about 30 years. I didn't get weepy but we both felt secure so to speak that we destined. I was sold to a certain place by a politician. YES SOLD!

It was the silence, the inner peace, coming home in his eyes and not feeling the need to do nor change anything. The deep respect I immediately felt, the need to show true colors in extreme integrity right away. Not an embellished version of myself I wanted to sale, no need for calculated manipulation. Many times people have unhealed trauma, and they do something called trauma bonding, where they feel home, because the chaos is known and therefore "safe"
So even though they're in a toxic relationship, they think it's right, because it makes them feel like home.
Not recognising that home was toxic too.
I was thinking about this the other day, how i felt comfortable being womanly around my husband and I've never felt that around any man before.
Years ago I had this exact feeling with a man on a new job, and I know he felt the same way, but being cautious, I held back. Three months later, I discovered he had an estranged wife in another country, a mistress he lived with for years and was in the habit of beating women. He looked, acted and sounded like the perfect man, and I felt I had come home whenever I was near him, but his hands were brutal looking, like those of an ax murderer. Thank goodness my parents taught me to always be patient and careful, but it still took me many years to clear his memory from my head and heart.
This might work in a closed community where everyone is brought up with the same values and never moves away, but in the wide world the rest of us live in, there are a lot of skilled deceivers.

I believe they say it can take up to 2 years for a crush to run it's course. But most of the time it lasts a few months.
This is what I found:
Stage 1: The euphoric stage - 6 months to 24 months (2 years) Stage 2: The early attachment stage - 12 months (1 year) to 60 months (5 years) Stage 3: The crisis stage - 60 months (5 years) to 84 months (7 years) Stage 4: The deep attachment stage - 84 months (7 years) and beyond.
I hope it helps you understand better. But yous both need to be at the same stage for it to be able to progress.

We met long distance. Bonded over messages and calls, I consulted God all the way and he did too…and I know for certain he’s the one from God. However, I’ve battled with insecurities and the Devil’s lies has led me to be mistrusting and I’ve caused a lot of unrest in our relationship. I’m so sad, and I’ve taken a three month break to try learn to love myself again so that I can bring my best self to the relationship again. I’m scared of losing him, it’s so hard to hold onto hope and know the TRUTH of God’s promise when the facts say otherwise, but facts are not God’s truth. i'm engaged to my soulmate.
My parents divorced when i was 7 and my dad changed countries, before that i was really girly barbies pink flowers all of it, after my mum remarried a shitty guy i started dressing masculine and being really agressive and mean talking as a defense mechanism even in school and with boyfriends i always felt the need to show i'm strong you can't mess with me.
Met my now fiance at 18 (we're now 25) and i'm back into my feminine girly state, he makes me feel safe and pretty and loves my feminine traits and encourages them.

It was a dream with a lot of things but when I felt that I was about to wake up in the last moments he was hugging me, I saw a white building with blue details next to us, I asked him his name in a hurry, He looked to the building and screamed a name and I woke up. (The guy in the dream was blonde, blue eyes, and skinny)
When I told my best friend about the dream she said she was talking to a new guy and that was his name, and their school was a white building with blue details.
I was sad until she said "his best friend is blonde with blue eyes and skinny". That's how God showed me my now fiance 🥰
Also I knew it was from God, because we are both christians with the same desires, God showed me other signs that I asked for confirmation and like I said I can be my true self with him because he makes me feel safe.

That’s how i know my man is the one. He drew out the submissive female out of a woman who was told she had to be independent and to not trust men. He makes me feel safe, seen, heard, known, loved. Soulmates are created by us , they don't naturally exist. Chemistry that he's talking about works only if both people in the situation have relatively little childhood trauma, have good bonding patterns and are both looking for the same thing. Also you learn to make your partner comfortable after learning their needs over a period of time.

I found mine. I can feel the pull. But he turned out to be a narc this lifetime. I told him we will do better in the next lifetime. We have forever so I can be fine waiting through this one for him. I know he felt it also. And everytime he did it would scare him and he got so upset. I told him. I feel this pull.
