Thank you so much. I watched another video and I was told to put the car jack right between a camera shake and some sort of blurry thing. I believe half the video was filmed in the guy’s pocket. I actually don’t have a camera shake in my car unless I’m going about 40 mph or more so you can see how that would be a problem. Especially, since I was trying to change my brakes . Once again thank you.
I have floor jack stands with flat tops for my 4runner, will those work on the jack points on the 2019 CRV? or should I just spend the $ and get another jack stand with the angled tops? Thanks
I won’t be able to answer without seeing that because I’m not familiar with the flat top jack stands. Whatever you decide, just be safe, because it’s not worth risking your vehicle slipping off of the jackstand. Let us know what you decide.
@@PaulNaylor3 That’s good. I shoved the jack way in from the back, there was a bump there indicating a reinforced point. The reinforced point in the middle of the frontpart was harder to spot on my cr-v, however. It seems there is a circular «cutout» on your car, mine have plastic panels nearly all over. I ended up using the garage jack on the jackstand point to lift the front. The point looks like a plate, and I worried that it might bend. But then again, if it withstands a jackstand, it will withstand the jack 😄
Thanks for the great instructions
You’re welcome!
Thank you for the information, Paul! It was very helpful.
I’m glad you found it helpful

What is length of jack and length of handle? Jack I bought was too small and couldn't reach point.
I don’t have that measurement but if you get a 3 ton jack it should work.
Won’t the towhook bend?
No, it’s strong enough to support the weight of the vehicle

There's a subframe right behind the rear diff assy. Is this higher than the tow hook? Because if it's not, I'd use that instead.@@fnagdungdagint
