Little bit, houstalantavegas and Call it off have always been 3 of my favorite songs from that mixtape. And I wish Drake would go back to a style closer to this and Take Care. Everything from So Far Gone up to Nothing was the same was Drake's best music.

This mixtape also dropped during an era of peak smartphone adoption, and as such it was one of the first mixtapes where the sound engineering was tailored to the outputs of an iPhone headphone jack or computer speakers.
Rather than being a release/album of 'classic' status, that's the lasting impression So Far Gone left on me...
It sounds like the time it came out in a good way lol, every time i listen to this project it sounds nostalgic

😂 Drake was 22 and it’s a reason Lil Wayne gave him 1 million for it... when I heard it in 2009 I knew Drake was going to be legendary . Quite frankly since 2009 no other artist that is 22 years old put together an a Mixtape or album where you don’t skip a song, but more importantly where artist are waaaay ahead of their time .

I'm a 27 year old African American man and the first time I heard this mixtape was yesterday. I remember in 2009 when Drake was a thing I only listened to his mixtapes but I didn't listen to this one. I think I own October's own or something like that and the first Drake album I ever bought was Scorpio. Other than that I do like Drake I think Drake is a dope artist but as soon as I heard that Houston Lana Vegas track I instantly shut off this project so Anthony giving Drake a 5 a decent 5 at that I'm not mad
This is actually one of my favorite mixtapes of all time. I wish drake would go back to his rookie year cuz that’s the music I connected to. I give this mixtape an 8

This album is 9/10 for me its at his best
Beat development and production has come a long way. Honestly, listening to the whole album again most of the track beats sound hella generic. In 2009 it was cutting edge I get it, but it didnt hold up over time as well as I thought it would have.
I enjoyed this entire sound album.
