Budget airlines basically take you from A to B with the least amount of money spent as possible on your part and their part. On long flights I definitely recommend booking an airline out of the top 20 in the world, or book business class is you can.
I flew a 1 hour flight on scoot from Malaysia to Singapore and my neck hurt cause of how flat the seat was, there was basically no neck support so I applaud u flying 13 hours on that plane
I know it is a budget airline but Scoot does not have to make it hell for everyone. How much to install a neck support on the seat? I will never fly scoot.
I think your tenacity is underrated, good for you buddy, damn!!! i also feel like your explanation could've been a lot more vivid considering the visuals
Scoot is by far the worst airline I’ve traveled in. 3.5 hours staring at the headrest in front of me which stated that there was wifi on board. No wifi. No screens. No water (unless you pay $4,- for a can). They even have the audacity to ban you from bringing your own water on board. They didn’t award me any Krisflyer miles for the flight for no reason, the only explanation “this flight was not eligible”. They don’t even provide a ticket number when you make a reservation or disclose the booking class. Attachments to the reservation confirmation were unreadable. Still having back pain from their seat.
13,5+5 hour flights from FRA to NRT over HGK with CX. Were flying economy (cheapest flight overall available) and it was awesome. The food, the seats and the service.
Did the seats even recline? Cause if no, then this flight is pure hell. Also was there a charging outlet? The incomplete laksa serving size would have made me pull my hair out. Unless: you flew for only 50SGD?
The food like food in SQ regional flight , personally i think it’s a downgrade from former meal, and they sell it 17$, in airasia you could get 3 menus already
relatable, once I flew to sydney by scoot and they seats were so dayum small this is the important part (it’s disgusting) An Indian lady put her foot on my seat, my sister told her to put it down and she did. FOR 10 SECONDS and I was suffering a lot until we told the crew. Still traumatized
You are young. When my wife and I were in our 30's we didn't care to fly squeezed in economy from Frankfurt to SG. The budget mattered. Today, in our early 60's, we would only do this in premium economy or biz.
That Laksa is about the same size as parent company Singapore Airlines' new economy meals in their 'environmental friendly' packaging. $2 hawker stall food, if that.
The reason why airasia X is better than scoot: They charge wayyyyy less for onboard food and the food actually tastes pretty decent. If I have to fly AirAsia due to the routing (their network is very extensive) I will always order their Nasi Lemak. Really good! But the legroom is not tolerable for longer than 2 hours.
Scoot lost my Armani coat, which was in the checked-in luggage, and they refused to compensate for the loss. I followed all the steps and provided all the supporting documents, but the airline refused to compensate for the lost item without explaining why. What is even worse is that Scoot keeps wasting your time by repeating "you should do this and you should do that" again and again. For more than a month, I have been trying to talk to the department which is in charge of this matter, but no one was available. In summary, AVOID SCOOT AT ALL COST if you value your time and money.
After a few flights like this flying international on a budget I can say I would never put my self in a situation where I am that uncomfortable. I Just pay the few extra hundred dollars and fly with a decent modern plane and get to my destination well rested rather then in agonizing pain lol
HELL in flight ,Scoot.I used to fly with this airline to Japan. It will take only about 5-6 hrs and it likes sitting in hell because seat is terrible ,its cushion is so hard even in the scootbiz seat. Cabin crew keep walking at all time and every time that seat belt sign turn on,they start parade through cabin ,turn on the light every time .No comfort at all.Food in flight ,i don't want to explain anymore ,i order 2 menu from list and threw it away because its taste ,i just tell you if you don't want to ruin your holiday try to pay more flying with other full service airline or other airline. This is my own personal exp before covid but good thing is that it give me lesson.NO good flight from Low cost or budget airline ,DON"T OVER expect from low cost.
At least inside look clean not messy at all. And it’s DIRECT flight if you don’t wanna suffer from the ON TIME TRAIN in Europe haha😂. Suggestion: Why not pay more for some snacks and food on the flight and bring along iPad to kill time Sia. 😂
@@sadia2395 I am, too, going to fly from Toronto to Tokyo at the end of this year! One of the long flight hacks that I will try this time is to get noise canceling headphone.
Dong brings children into the budget airline. Pay a little bit extra, and fly on a full-service airline it will end up the same because on a budget airline, you end up having to pay for food and drinks for your child and the hassle in terminals is not worth it.
Here to see how people pay peanuts but expect a full service. Sure it's meh, meant to be meh due to its business model and designed to be meh. If you don't want it to be meh, then don't be a cheapo, pay more to take full service. Why slam budget carriers when you choose not to increase your budget? Scoot 787s have a scoot-in-silence cabin where toddlers are not allowed in, but well as expected, you chose not to pay more for it too, but instead try hard to make sensational vids like this.
he put the head rest cover( thats on the seat infront) in the back of the phone case and put the phone back in! i've seen people also do this with paper using the tray table and shutting it
Scoot is low cost carrier, what do you expect. You should’ve also mention the price. Their food portion is ridiculously small, though, I think in this aspect it’s a valid criticism
Don’t compare a full flight to economy Beside a slightly better seats, free flow drinks, 2 meals, check ins and entertainment the rest are basically the same for 40-50% cheaper
I write original music as well! do take a listen to my latest single here: ruclips.net/video/yZd39Iiwzv8/видео.html
That $17 laksa straight up daylight robbery😂
I salute you for this flight you brave soldier. I don’t think my back can handle another super long flight.
13 hr on any budget airline + a crying child deserves a medal.
Ain’t no way a 13 hour flight don’t even got a screen
only screen was my phone
it was a budget airline
@@Goldpoo227 I normally go British airways and haven’t flown with like jet 2 in a bit but I swear they have screens

No matter how *directly* the flight was, I would never ever be on that one. Sorry SCOOT 😅
This is a budget airline. No frills. If you know before you book you know what to expect. It’s not about survival. It’s about research
Love that ‘meh’ at the end. Totally expecting that.
787 got the most beautiful wings ever
I know it is a budget airline but Scoot does not have to make it hell for everyone. How much to install a neck support on the seat? I will never fly scoot.
I went for a 5 hour flight on scoot and I came down with a sore back, and numb legs 😌😌
I could never fly on a budget / low cost airline on a long haul flight. I’d bring my own 2 full course meal and my huge bottle of water. 😂😂😂
can we carry something to eat?
how do I know if a meal is included in the flight?
I felt for you when I saw how small the box was. xD

budget airline or business class, so long as there's a kid screaming throughout the flight, it's a nightmare
Imagine taking a toddler on a 13 hour flight
And with budget airlines too, no thanks, i’ll just chill at my house
That has to be one crazy parent😂
There should always be a Non-kids flight for long distances.
I flew 11 hours in economy when i was 3 months old
Imagine living in a world assuming everyone’s circumstances are so simple.
The food like food in SQ regional flight , personally i think it’s a downgrade from former meal, and they sell it 17$, in airasia you could get 3 menus already
One suggestion - buy foam earplugs that are at least 26db rated for flights. They're a lifesaver/sleepsaver when babies/toddlers are around.

Scoot is hands down the worst airline ever. They even charge money to use electric socket😂😂😂😂
really?
yes
What are your overall thoughts on passengers who choose to fly on flights like Scoot on long haul destinations?
Everyone: Meh😅
The food packaging is the same for SIA flights in Asia.. thought it was downgraded.. can't say the same for international flights...
Been to Scoot, the exprience for me was decent ish?? But man, couldn't sleep.
Why is it harder to sleep on budget flights?

Totally agree on how to use neck pillow! That’s how we survived our flight from the east coast of the US to Japan and onto Vietnam!
pro tip: get scoot business class. so much more comfy and seats are much wider

That’s the same laksa served in SQ Asean flights
I'd there plane came from same airport
Chances are the have similar menu
