so many songs i would have ranked differently compared to yours but also a lot i would have ranked the same as you, like when the wild wind blows is an s tier song imo and its one of the only songs from final frontier imo that is above a d tier. empire of the clouds is a sss tier song, speed of light i would have put down at d tier, almost all songs of piece of mind and no prayer albums would be far down on the lists as well meanwhile almost all songs off of a matter of life and death, dance of death and brave new world would be almost all up in a-sss tier. senjutsu is another one of those albums that is a massive miss imo where i only like 1-2 songs and in the case of senjutsu its only writing on the wall that i like and its only barely a b tier song but the entire book of souls album i would have put in b tier or above (except speed of light). just to mention some things i would rank differently
I think the only song you missed was Virus. It was the first Maiden song I ever heard when my cousin lent me his copy of Best of the Beast because I told him I like instrumentals. Life altering moment.
Well your tastes are very similar to mine; you have good taste 😁. I'm glad SIT is getting the respect it deserves these days.Lots of fans realising its majesty now, who initially were brainwashed against by the early use of synths/keyboards.It's a shame the band don't realise this by even choosing the weakest song "Heaven can wait", instead of the sublime "loneliness of a long-distance runner" (although playing this would probably kill Nicko), or the most badass "Sea of madness" which touches on thrash metal, and if identified as such would give maiden 1 of the greatest thrash songs; great enough for Pantera to steal the riff for "domination"
So much shade on the Blaze songs! I would put basically all of them above the AMOLAD songs. The Talisman is absolutely triple S. A few more whose placement I can't agree on like Still Life being so low, would put it in triple S.
I strongly encourage you to go back and re-listen to The Duelists. The vocals are admittedly meh, but the awesome part is the solo that starts at 1:50 and goes till ~5:15. Some really peak guitar solos and harmonizing imo. Overall great vid!
@@VARVIS_ I really do. The lyrics are embarrassingly bad, the high notes Bruce hits in the verse just sound silly, and it's topped of with stupid-ass guitar melodies in the mid section that sound like they're from a children's song. It's really bad.
Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth ,Death , it's not Boomer metal, no boomers listened to those bands ,it's Gen X, goddamn it, we skipped on everything but you're not getting away with mislabling our music , yeah there's the 90s grunge crap but it Gen X music began in the 80s ,you could argue Maiden is a tweener but the thrash ,Death, and Black metal scenes are purely popularized by Gen X listening habits and passed down to the following generations, Boomers are roo close minded and thinks that music stopped with the Beatles and Zeppelin.,which are great of course , but not the Be All End All of music , and To Tame A Land is in the running of greatest maiden song, the musicianship, lyrics, and structure is among their best works, SSSS+
I don’t know why but I’ve never been able to get behind Iron Maiden. A part of me thinks it’s the vocals (I don’t like Helloween either), but maybe it’s more so the riffs and the tone and sound of the guitars. To me, a lot of songs sound similar or completely the same, or just too generic for my liking. I wish someone could articulate better than I at why I may not like I.M. as much as some of my other metal head friends or you guys in the comments do.
Dudę do a favor to the world and dont try to sing IM
Sorry b0ss 🙏🏻🙏🏻
We all should 😢
It’s funny tho
2:30 afraid to shoot strangers is 100% SSS
Hallowed Be Thy Name, Paschendale, Powerslave, RotAM, Moonchild, and Phantom of the Opera are all deep dive worthy (and many others as well)
Expect a video on one of those you mentioned here within the next month 😎
@@VARVIS_omg I hope it's about "many others as well"

Such an absurd undertaking, haha. I love Childhood's End and I think the Dance of Death song is rather poo, otherwise we are pretty synced overall.

Ah damn you are totally right! 😢 I did forget that one
@@VARVIS_ lol, I can't blame you. It's a Bayley era track released on a compilation album. I don't think the studio version is even on Spotify.
Also missed Twilight Zone, Murders in Rue Morgue, Total Eclipse and Burning Ambition
Between the Oilers referance and the indoor waterpark (West Ed) yeah you definetly live in edmonton hahaha cool to see a fellow edmontonian!
Hell yeah brother!
Every single song? What about the b-sides? :P
In flames
Call me crazy , but bring your daughter to the slaughter is in my top 10 maiden songs!
Fear is the key is so underrated... amazing chorus and lyrics
To be fair Hallowed be thy name should have a tier by itself above SSS. Nice list mate, I'd put CSIT and Ghost of navigator a lot higher .

You shouldve added a new FFF tier just for Quest For Fire
Damn you really hate that one hey?

Different World on C, videoclip alone should put it to at least A tier!
good video but lightning strikes twice is sss.
Surely you jest
Lightning strike twice is a banger
It's one of my fav Blaze songs
I approve
I would put 22 acacia avenue in SSS though
"every SINGE song" on the video name, btw
Thanks fam you the MVP 🫡🫡
Can I play with madness a D? Ok, that's it, not watching anymore!
>Check full list to look for my favourite songs
