A while ago I saw a piece about Catherine as she beautifully walked through an elementary school. Meghan, Im saying to you "girl' as one mixed raced woman to another, having a discussion with your family about how black or white your baby is going to look is NOT racist. My daddy was black, from the Caribbean and my mummy was white from Scotland, God bless their souls as they are no longer with me but they were such an inspiration in my life when growing up in the 1960s as a black/white mixed raced girl. I am much darker than Meghan and when i became pregnant my family talked about how my baby would look when she was born because my husband was white. This was just my very loving family having a conversation and being curious about how our baby would look. They didnt care whether the baby was black, brown or white, it was just normal delightful conversation. My own daughter now has two children, and we discussed with interest whether the baby would be dark or pale as my daughter came out 'lily white'! Sorry, is that racist saying "lily white" because the world's gone 😢 but really we didn't care as long as the baby was healthy it could be ANY colour. My grandchildren are both beautiful, one very white, taking my mothers Scottish side and my other grandchild taking my dad's Caribbean side. So you see, mixed raced, black, white family's are more likely to discuss colour more than any other race due to the nature of siblings potentially looking very different from one or both of their parents.. Get over thinking just because people talk about race, it's racist, I was born in the 1960s so i know what racism looks like, and its so wonderful for me to now live here in the UK where we've come on in leaps and bounds at having a truly multicultural society. People like Meghan do more harm than good for race relation by focusing on perceived racism where there is none . We speculated endlessly when I was pregnant over what the potential best or worst combinations of features might be. It was a fun game. Then the genes kaleidoscope throws out something exquisite and more perfect than you can imagine and you continue the game as they grow looking at what bits come from which ancestor. I couldn't agree more! My (then) husband and I were both bright redheads and EVERYONE said that the babies would be raging carrot tops. Both my daughters are brunettes. In comparing Catherine and MM, it's even more than backgrounds. You can tell a lot by what people do for fun... and what they find funny. Catherine by all accounts has a good sense of humor and enjoys her family. Catherine is a good artist, photographer, and aspiring pianist. She loves sport, famously encouraged to play sports after she switched secondary schools due to bullying (!) Catherine also has overcome a very shy nature in order to fulfill her royal duties, and I admire her ability to connect with strangers in spite of this. On the other hand, MM spends her time stoking her self esteem with pricey luxuries, branding herself in a humorless and controlling way, and limiting her interaction with the arts to the entertainment industry. On top the that, M & H have misunderstood people's issues with Megan as racist. If anything, it's "classist." MM worships at the altar of "new money," and people in Harry's circle see right through that. Can you just imagine King Charles, supporter of the arts and huge fan of Shakespeare, trying to discuss the arts with MM? LOL.

Totally agree! Catherine is so involved with many things. She is a great athlete and a photographer, she also loves being of service. Meghan never even did theatre (maybe in middle school) and all she does is yoga or hike. Being a self-described 'foodie' is not a big deal. So many people are foodies. I absolutely agree when I was pregnant , my partner and I chatted that our baby will be fine as long as it's got my nose and your ears if it comes out the other way round it's not going to be as good 😂 suffice to say when my daughter was born we would have loved her had she been the colour of a baboon's ass ! I really appreciate your stated views on William and Catherine’s courtship! To this day media still refers to Catherine as Kate Middleton I find that so disrespectful. Catherine and William did break up however that didn’t last very long. In their engagement interview they said they had a “plan”. To keep their relationship private and there was an understanding between them that when the time was right they would build a life together. That is profound wisdom and a sign that they both took their commitment seriously. Harry should have listened to his brother and grandfather. Now Harry has much more to learn from and accept he needs help from his addiction and mental health issues.
William introduced her as Kate at the start of the engagement interview and prior to the engagement she was known as Kate by people around her. It is tradition to differentiate between the marrying-in Royals, they are know by their Maiden titles. Catherine of Aragon, Katherine Parr, Mary of Teck, Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, Camilla Parker Bowes. As consort, like Camilla is now, she will be known as Queen Catherine, but once the reign is over she will be historically referred to as probably Catherine Middleton. It makes it easier to differentiate her from the other C/Katherines. Have you heard Anne Boleyn know as anything else?
Princess Catherine’s family are so beautiful, they both have wonderful sense of humours and are such kind people, I saw a documentary on her whole family over the weekend and no wonder Princess Catherine is such a breath of fresh air, she comes from such a loving and respectful family ❤️
Harry knew Kate is so awesome and cool & pleasant, that there would be no reason she & Meg won't get along, cause Catherine gets along with EVERYONE, (at least on the surface), and has no enemies. Reporters said she'd walked past their car a few times having spotted them wanting to be papped. Everyone thought it was strange to wear muddy Wellington's in Kensington High Street.

This part of Kensington used to be my neighbourhood. Apart from the ridiculous melodrama, the story reads false because.... A. Kensington Place is literally a 5 minute walk from Whole Foods on Kensington High Street. Cross the street, walk to the corner of Hyde Park, two minutes walk to the palace. It would actually take longer to drive there! B. There aren't really any security gates blocking entry - the palace is in the park itself and you can actually walk through the garden and around the back of the building (its just a large house rather than a palace) C. The Whole Foods is former department store - the side entrance to that building is....The Daily Mail offices!!! (Im certain she doesn't know this) So there there probably were several Daily Mail people in the same store - but just to get their lunch.
I realized how genuine Katherine is when I observed the carriage ride through the streets after the wedding service. She was so perfect, anyone could see it. She looked over at William and with a beautiful smile announced “I’m so happy!” I loved that image and I’ll never forget it.
To be frank. Looking at what H did while he was dating and engaged to M, he lead her on to believe he had wealth, power and connections. And when she thought she had locked down a wealthy man, she realised only afterwards he was absolutely reliant on his pay check from his Dad. So for all the millions for years he was getting from his Dad, where is that money? Did he bother investing it in actual property or the stock market? Or did he just piss it all away with partying?
I dated someone after college that portrayed themselves and their family as wealthy. I fell for him BEFORE I learned of his "wealthy" background.....to me he portrayed himself as proper, independent, responsible, self-reliant - qualities I have and require in a mate. After only a few months I realized, he (like Harry) was relying on Dad's checks to pay ALL his bills and that he himself had NO self-reliance, was irresponsible on SO many adult matters and was SO dependent it was disgusting. Killed my attraction to him. I don't know why anyone portrays such a false narrative.....you will get found out; better to just be honest. 10 years later, and in his 30's this guy was still living off his parents.....I dodged a bullet!! Whole Foods is very close to Kensington Palace when one walks out of the Palace gates heading south, Kensington High Street is approx 200 yds at the end of Kensington Palace Gardens. Turn right onto Kensington High Street and Whole Foods is about 50 yds on the opposite side of the Road. And yes, there is an escalator in the store it is on 2 or maybe even 3 levels. I can’t remember exactly. It is a long time since I have been in the store. I don’t live in London now, I live in Hampshire, but. So a Daily Mail journalist walking along that road is not unusual! I am told by a friend who lives nearby that MM used to walk up and down the street near Whole Foods very frequently in the hope of being followed and photographed by paparazzi but in vain!
It’s quite obvious that MM was whispering in Harry’s ear, telling him that as the son of the future king, he deserved identical privileges, money and security, to William’s.

A while ago I saw a piece about Catherine as she beautifully walked through an elementary school. The little girls surrounded her and one ventured to breathlessly exclaim ‘ Oh you’re so pretty!’ Katherine bent closer and looked from side to side as if they were going to share a secret. My daddy was black, from the Caribbean and my mummy was white from Scotland, God bless their souls as they are no longer with me but they were such an inspiration in my life when growing up in the 1960s as a black/white mixed raced girl. I am much darker than Meghan and when i became pregnant my family talked about how my baby would look when she was born because my husband was white. This was just my very loving family having a conversation and being curious about how our baby would look. My own daughter now has two children, and we discussed with interest whether the baby would be dark or pale as my daughter came out 'lily white'! Sorry, is that racist saying "lily white" because the world's gone 😢 but really we didn't care as long as the baby was healthy it could be ANY colour. My grandchildren are both beautiful, one very white, taking my mothers Scottish side and my other grandchild taking my dad's Caribbean side. So you see, mixed raced, black, white family's are more likely to discuss colour more than any other race due to the nature of siblings potentially looking very different from one or both of their parents.. Get over thinking just because people talk about race, it's racist, I was born in the 1960s so i know what racism looks like, and its so wonderful for me to now live here in the UK where we've come on in leaps and bounds at having a truly multicultural society. I and my husband are both very fair skinned, we both have red hair in our families. We speculated endlessly when I was pregnant over what the potential best or worst combinations of features might be. It was a fun game. Then the genes kaleidoscope throws out something exquisite and more perfect than you can imagine and you continue the game as they grow looking at what bits come from which ancestor. Literally everyone I know does it.

Catherine also has overcome a very shy nature in order to fulfill her royal duties, and I admire her ability to connect with strangers in spite of this. On the other hand, MM spends her time stoking her self esteem with pricey luxuries, branding herself in a humorless and controlling way, and limiting her interaction with the arts to the entertainment industry. On top the that, M & H have misunderstood people's issues with Megan as racist. If anything, it's "classist." MM worships at the altar of "new money," and people in Harry's circle see right through that. I read somewhere it was before they were ever even engaged that allegedly it was a senior female member of the family by marriage, and not Catherine. But it wasn’t even that specific it was like some thing like what would your children look like, I wonder? She may have giggled, perhaps even because she wasn’t sure if she should ask that, but she was just being honest asking a question. Maybe making sure Harry had thought about that in case he would care if the baby has dark skin. Who knows. We know it’s a far cry from the way it was portrayed on Oprah!!!

I absolutely agree when I was pregnant , my partner and I chatted that our baby will be fine as long as it's got my nose and your ears if it comes out the other way round it's not going to be as good 😂 suffice to say when my daughter was born we would have loved her had she been the colour of a baboon's ass ! As it turns out she does have my nose and dad's ears. Happy days.Thanks for another great instalment

This is a really really good episode. I have read other comments making the same point- your reading of Kate's character is spot on and to share your appreciation of her virtues is a big relief to us labouring under the toxic weight of Meghan's scheming and duplicity.

To this day media still refers to Catherine as Kate Middleton I find that so disrespectful. Catherine and William did break up however that didn’t last very long. In their engagement interview they said they had a “plan”. To keep their relationship private and there was an understanding between them that when the time was right they would build a life together. That is profound wisdom and a sign that they both took their commitment seriously. Harry should have listened to his brother and grandfather. Now Harry has much more to learn from and accept he needs help from his addiction and mental health issues.

It is tradition to differentiate between the marrying-in Royals, they are know by their Maiden titles. Catherine of Aragon, Katherine Parr, Mary of Teck, Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, Camilla Parker Bowes.
As consort, like Camilla is now, she will be known as Queen Catherine, but once the reign is over she will be historically referred to as probably Catherine Middleton. It makes it easier to differentiate her from the other C/Katherines.

Princess Catherine’s family are so beautiful, they both have wonderful sense of humours and are such kind people, I saw a documentary on her whole family over the weekend and no wonder Princess Catherine is such a breath of fresh air, she comes from such a loving and respectful family ❤️
Harry knew Kate is so awesome and cool & pleasant, that there would be no reason she & Meg won't get along, cause Catherine gets along with EVERYONE, (at least on the surface), and has no enemies. Harry was just blind to the fact that Meg is jealous of other women, because she always competed with other women for roles, and he didn't know that it's not in her nature to be collaborative with other women. And if he pairs her with Katherine and everything she has: from her lily white race (internalized racism, anyone?), a legit model figure, married to the brother who'll be king, gets along swimmingly with everyone. Of course Meg Kate would be jealous. Kate was competition, and to Meg, Kate like all people was beneath her and had to be put in her place.
I try not to comment on people’s looks but Markle looks like a chubby hobbit next to Catherine.
Meghan must have made further trips to Kensington because although I don't remember any shots of her in the wholefoods shop making it to the tabloids (!), i do remember some distant shots of her in Kensington with a Make Poverty History shopping bag.

A. Kensington Place is literally a 5 minute walk from Whole Foods on Kensington High Street. Cross the street, walk to the corner of Hyde Park, two minutes walk to the palace. It would actually take longer to drive there!
B. There aren't really any security gates blocking entry - the palace is in the park itself and you can actually walk through the garden and around the back of the building (its just a large house rather than a palace)
C. The Whole Foods is former department store - the side entrance to that building is....The Daily Mail offices!!! (Im certain she doesn't know this)
So there there probably were several Daily Mail people in the same store - but just to get their lunch.

I realized how genuine Katherine is when I observed the carriage ride through the streets after the wedding service. She was so perfect, anyone could see it. She looked over at William and with a beautiful smile announced “I’m so happy!” I loved that image and I’ll never forget it.
To be frank. Looking at what H did while he was dating and engaged to M, he lead her on to believe he had wealth, power and connections.
And when she thought she had locked down a wealthy man, she realised only afterwards he was absolutely reliant on his pay check from his Dad.
So for all the millions for years he was getting from his Dad, where is that money? Did he bother investing it in actual property or the stock market? Or did he just piss it all away with partying?
I dated someone after college that portrayed themselves and their family as wealthy. I fell for him BEFORE I learned of his "wealthy" background.....to me he portrayed himself as proper, independent, responsible, self-reliant - qualities I have and require in a mate. After only a few months I realized, he (like Harry) was relying on Dad's checks to pay ALL his bills and that he himself had NO self-reliance, was irresponsible on SO many adult matters and was SO dependent it was disgusting. Killed my attraction to him. I don't know why anyone portrays such a false narrative.....you will get found out; better to just be honest. 10 years later, and in his 30's this guy was still living off his parents.....I dodged a bullet!! (Though I still endured heartache at losing a man that did not exist.)
Whole Foods is very close to Kensington Palace when one walks out of the Palace gates heading south, Kensington High Street is approx 200 yds at the end of Kensington Palace Gardens. Turn right onto Kensington High Street and Whole Foods is about 50 yds on the opposite side of the Road. And yes, there is an escalator in the store it is on 2 or maybe even 3 levels. I can’t remember exactly. It is a long time since I have been in the store. I don’t live in London now, I live in Hampshire, but. Used to live in that part of London for many years so I know it very well. Furthermore the offices of the Daily Mail are located on the 3rd Floor of the building next to Whole Foods! So a Daily Mail journalist walking along that road is not unusual! I am told by a friend who lives nearby that MM used to walk up and down the street near Whole Foods very frequently in the hope of being followed and photographed by paparazzi but in vain!
I remember those hilarious shots of her storming around posh London in mud boots as if she was out exploring the moorlands.
