Still won't save them from their dei choices, and "the message" they're pushing. They spat in the fans' faces who have been asking for an authentic AC experience in Japan
I play Heroes of might and magic 3, still from Ubisoft and a great old game. The dei nonsense is just a not buy option, no matter how much they delay, I will not care about a game that has dei involved or is woke in any shape or form.
Triple A companies are all greedy now. They do not make games with passion, they put out half baked games and expect players to play them. Indie developers is where it's at now, at least those guys put passion towards their products and not slap stupid ridiculous microtransaction *BS* to their games.
I'm sorry, but, assassins creed shadows really looks like Ghost of tsushima from wish. The combat, even the healthbar and the yellow diamonds mimic ghost of tsushima
i hate this because i was/ or kinda still interested since the announcement for finally giving me a stealth ninja game that closely feels like splinter cell for the longest time. There really isn't that many games out there that purely focus on the stealth/ghost fantasy that splintercell did all those years back for me. So despite all of it, and really not caring about the combat/yosuke aspect of the game, the female protagonist gameplay is something i been looking forward to, a grounded somewhat realistic stealth, using tools and being careful about sound and light to potentially ghost through people without a single kill. I still think from what i saw from that aspect is has potential... but man, so fucking dissapointed with how they are handling the rest and doesn't help that ubisoft mostly put so much slop and boring shit these days. I ain't holding my breath and if this game fails thats on them. But a huge stealth fan i am so fucking starve for stuff bro. every game that has stealth is always so fucking bland and boring.
i'll tell you exactly what is wrong with Ubisoft: they can't accept that they are wrong. A TOTALLY RANDOM ASSORTMENT OF L's AND O's: OLOOLLLO OLLOOOOL OLLLOOLO OLLOOOLL OLLOLOOL OLLLOOLL OLLLOOLL OLLOLOOL OLLLOOLL OLLOLLOL "Ubisoft you OK? You OK Ubisoft?" - Alien Goose Farm
I think they were always going in the wrong direction every year, got worse and worse…and they are greedy and frankly with ghost coming out…they won’t be able to compete
You didn't run into any bugs in Assassin's Creed games? I find that a bit hard to believe. I have found bugs in EVERY Assassin's Creed game. I'm playing Valhalla now and it crashes on my uber-PC - a lot. I've had to shut the game down at times when I get trapped under things I shouldn't have been able to. There are a ton of little bugs too. What's happening to Ubisoft now is because preorder sales are down on Shadows and the shareholders are calling them out on it. This is because people are finally learning that preordering just encourages games being released before they are really finished. This won't just happen to Ubisoft games and it's about time! If we stop the preorders we will see games being released in better shape. I personally don't buy a game until the patches stop. But even then I have problems like I'm having with Valhalla. It's not acceptable. NEVER PREORDER!!!
gaming media has hated ubisoft for years. And investor invest based on news a lot of the time over financials. However game sales have been fine for a lot of their games. So there is also where investors may want every game to go blockbuster right away, where as ubisoft plays the long game with most its releases. Now, i dont want to pretend like ubisoft doesnt have duds. They trend chase when its already way too late often enough. Remember when they tried to do NFTs.. smh But the AC and Farcry games sell well. R6 siege sells well. Their random smaller titles and things like trackmania sell well. Even the Avatar game sold well. But gaming media doesnt talk about that. Which is fair enough, gaming media is mostly "core gamers" that have their own tastes for what for AAA games should be. Casual games on the other hand seem to like ubisoft just fine. Theyre not terminally on youtube like the rest of us haha personally play mostly indie titles. so i wouldnt play a ubisoft game in the same way i wouldnt play God of War, GTA or The Last of Us. It all seems bloated and boring to me.
The hate on yasuke is definitely just because he is black. I think whether he was or wasnt a real samurai is completely irrelevant. You know Niccolo Machiavelli wasnt the leader of a band of assassin's either right? But no one complained about that. People ignore the fact that assassin's creed has crazy aliens/ancient civilizations and you even fight medusa in the greek one. But oh, a black samurai is just going toooooo far Try to shift the argument to why dont you play a japanese person, but YOU CAN. there are 2 choices of protagonist... Ignoring that why cant yasuke be considered japanese, he lived there for most his life, likely knew the language and culture very well and served as a body guard to Nobunaga (that alone makes him part of the warrior class too btw, aka a samurai). This is the kind of argument that's like, "no immigrant should be considered american", including white people. White people werent there first either.
Ubisoft took a huge hit from Skull and Bones. No one bought it. With Outlaws under-performing, it also hurt them. Also, with the very low pre-orders of Shadows, they are very much contemplating on releasing it later. As it presently stands for Shadows, I will NOT buy it. However, if Yasuke is demoted from Samurai and is not a player character and becomes an NPC to help the player. And there is a Male Japanese Samurai or Ronin replacing his character. I may think about buying it... Maybe not on release... Also, their Artwork has pissed off the Japanese and the Funko Pops or whatever merchandise for the game with the Broken Tori Gate and mixed Clan emblems on Yasuke is disgraceful to Japanese culture. The problem is the wokeness that has infiltrated the industry. It is a cancer that needs to be surgically removed from the industry. Otherwise, we will be seeing much more games and studios failing and collapsing.
What do you think about them delaying the game?

The answer: A series of half-assed, DEI filled games with budgets that make you question where is the money going.
True
Very true. But ubisoft claims it's not pushing agendas
That and terrible gameplay, bad story and complete disrespect for the legacy they built.
Ubisoft committing harakiri on their stocks

it really does
WOKENESS! Hiring people based on anything else than merit, this is what it gets you! 😅
this comment should be pinned to the top. This is very true. You hire woke minded people who put garbage, this is what they get.

And now, they are going head to head with Ghost of Yotei. And i think i know which one is gonna win that battle
It will be interesting to see how that plays out
i'll tell you exactly what is wrong with Ubisoft: they can't accept that they are wrong.

Only run into a few crashes when I played Odyssey when it first came out. Never had any bugs in Valhalla.
@@stillsolo - do you play on PC or console?
