Tip: For those that don't know, and it wasn't mentioned here, when a boss, or any enemy really, is staggered (when you see the health bar turn white) You can use the shot put (steel round ball) throwable to instantly down them, it has the same effect as hitting them with a charged attack. Before I found this out was basically doing what he said, my brain turned off when I saw a stagger, and I was flailing around trying desperately to land a charge attack, which usually resulted in death.
I absolutely hate the mad clown puppet. You can't run away either. You know how in some souls like games if you run from an enemy and they just give up and go back? Not the mad clown puppet, he will follow you like a damn polar bear.
This might be the first time I've gotten to watch one of these after actually completing the game first. Luxasia is definitely the hardest I'm glad we agree 🤣

she is hands down the toughest gave me the most trouble and i nearly killed her first try and then she got revenge by curb stomping me into next week the second attempt after i few runs i developed a strategy and then took her down but it was entirely dependent on what she does because if she wants to she will just go for you ignore the spector or vice versa
You can literally just strafe right for like her entire moveset. She is so easy in the first phase. 2nd just parry her lightning and run away. She so easy

For Laxasia, during her first phase, you'll want to use acid damage. The throwable works really well, but make those count. During her second phase, you'll want to switch to fire damage. It was a night and day difference in terms of damage once I started using elements.
The Perfection grindstone also works really well. With enough Perfect Blocks in phase 1 you can break her sword and she'll go straight into phase 2. If you manage to use the grindstone right before her uppercut-hell you'll get so many sweet free perfect blocks and you'll pretty much go into phase 2 completely fresh minus 1 use of your grindstone.
That makes way more sense now. I rolled through her first phase using the acid spear but basically got hard stuck trying to figure her 2nd phase out -- which ended up taking a couple hours worth of attempts + a few hours of me farming levels. Eventually, I just learned her moves and dodged enough to do chip damage with the spear. It was agonizing. I'm definitely going to have some fire with me next time around.
Fun fact about Laxasia 2nd phase, you can actually see her preparing the charge from afar if you don't deflect the lightning bolts, but if you do they turn red and obscure her animation so the charge just feels instantaneous and out of nowhere. Basically in this case you're put at a disadvantage for doing exactly what the game wants you to do. I'm quite convinced the devs made it that way just to fuck with people.
Use the instant deflect grindstone and have an extra one on just in case she does it twice and if you avoid her enough she definitely will I killed her first and last twenty hit pints that way and when she divebombs after she can't move so I got her remaining health by just hitting her then. I know I sounds hard but it really isn't it makes her a whole chump
Just practise the timing and perfect block. That move would eat her posture a ton and make her so open if you can perfect block all the orbs and charge.
When the last lightning bolt deflected hits her wait half a second than guard. Super easy timing. Also you can see her light up red just before she slams down
A good tip for Simon is that regen effects trivialize the fight. Be patient and let him come to you while your HP and Legion regen passively, because the dude moves slower than a continent.
Fun Fact: It doesn't matter what dialogue option you choose when talking to The Atoned. If you return later in the game, she'll attack you on site. She's a really easy mini boss.

@@DanSaillantsame here, arch bish was the worst I think I died like 50 times. What's crazy is I beat laxasia 5th try, acid was clapping her so quick. I think I just got lucky though. I'm on the nameless now.
The large AOE from Archbishop is actually very easy to dodge if you pay attention to the distance, the Spider side always sends it farther away, while skinny man side sends it close, if you stand just below the spiders head it wont hit, and after the spider head fires you can dodge away from the spider so the close range one from skinny man doesn't hit you as the aoe only makes it to about the legs, and you can a lot more DPS in.
I love the last 3 bosses. It really feels like a dance instead of a one sided attack fest and she might be the hardest but I thought she was the most fun to fight

@@JoltOfJoy used motivity, some vitality and I made sure to keep some points on capacity and a bit on vigor. My main weapon for most of the second half was the two dragons sword
I found Victor to be one of the easier bosses myself. Getting him in a rotation of his attacks is real easy just staying at distance. I’m shit at perfect blocking in this game so I dodge most of the time. But Victor doesn’t feel hard when you can quick dodge and punish almost all his attacks. I got lucky with Luxasia because I’ve come to realize that while using the specter for a distraction bosses get utterly destroyed with throwables. Throwables are so utterly disgusting in this game I hate and love it.
@@MaitaRocks he isnt wrong though is he? summons is easy mode (theres no shame in that but its definitely there for people who have trouble) and throwables is free damage (and quite a lot of damage) without really doing anything.
@@MaitaRocks thats a dumb comparison because youre required to use your eyes to play but eh it still works: Using your eyes is easier than not using them. If someone says that the boss is easy with their eyes open then it doesnt take away the fact that with your eyes closed, the boss is harder. I never said yourz not allowed to use consummablzs or specters, just that the experience is totally different and cant be compared. Using these abilities renders the game easier to play and bosses easier to defeat
@@MaitaRocks noone has an issue other than you it looks like lol. if a weapon is OP then its the easy way out. not saying you didnt beat the boss but you definitely took a much easier path, if thats the way you like to play thats cool, as you said its a single player game. what you cant say is that the boss is objectively easy because you used extremely broken builds or methods. in sekiro you can kill the demon of hatred via luring him to his death off a cliff. did you beat the boss? sure. did that make the boss easy? yeah but you didnt actually learn his patterns and become good at the fight, you just cheesed him. again, if thats the way you do it thats fine but dont call a boss easy if you are doing things like that.
I really appreciate your perspective on the gameplay, it really explains what's unique about this game plainly without sounding like complaining, yet the way you describe it clearly shines light on why it would be frustrating
FYI you can fight the Atoned even with the "wrong" dialog option if you return to their area after the level, they will just aggro you when they spot you.
Such a solid ranking! I just beat my first run today. My biggest gripe with this game is that in my opinion every boss doesn't need a full second health bar phase. I'm cool with phase shifts, but there were WAY too many bosses I would finally kill it and realize I was only halfway through the fight. I think that should be saved for a couple of the harder endgame bosses. Such awesome boss designs though, fantastic game.
@@Seto0019 damn, Romeo is less than half way through too. If you look at the wiki, there's 15 main bosses and Romeo is only number 7. He's exactly halfway if you consider that the wiki counts the Barren Swamp boss twice since it has both stages listed
im honestly getting bored of multiple boss health bars now. i was so happy when they gave champion victor a second phase on the same health bar, thats the way to do a second phase. its starting to become a trend and im just bored with it.
@@rhyswhittington8759 The way I see it, bosses that are humanoid like laxasia and victor should have 1 health bar and I am ok with the more monstrous bosses having a second bar because it feels more fitting for an enemy of unknown potential to have a second bar.

Depends on the build i beleive. I had a harder time with walker using heavy weapons vs faster weapons. When i used faster weapon on her i never saw her clone.

I think it’s weird how they added so many quality of life improvements on the formula but still decided to have the stagger meter invisible. I would love to have a visual indicator on stagger
@@ScrotumBallshe means your progress toward it, rather than just telegraphing when it comes out of nowhere. If you know what you’re doing you get a decent idea of where you are in terms of how close you are to staggering but it would still be nice to have a lil progress bar
I kinda like how it's hidden, since it makes you always be on your toes instead of just greeding towards a stagger. But that's just me, because I die to greed ALL the time 😂

Little tip for those struggling with the Nameless Puppet. Deus Ex Machina is a great tool after you land a Fatal Attack. You aren’t gonna get near to them anyway due to the electric AOE they give off while recovering from the Fatal, so Motivity builds can slap down 2 (or 3 if you’re feeling risky) in waiting. They do good damage and give you a great head start towards staggering them again. At least for me they did. Plus they don’t use up consumables, so you don’t go through your supplies as quick.
fully upgraded puppet string with the electric grindstone is extremely strong against him too. you can basically deplete half his health bar plus a free stagger by landing 2-3 puppet strings. i don't even feel like i earned the kill really, but i didn't violate my self imposed rules so it is what it is.
something to note about the door guardian: I did some testing and his stagger seems to be almost purely based on how many attacks you land, so you can pull out a knife and kill him on about 30 seconds.
Beat Victor first try, laxasia second try and manus second try. The archbishop, Romeo, and green monster took me the most tries. Green monster pissed me off more than any other boss on the game.
whats crazy about nameless, is that he deliberately goes for the heart, they are aware that you have carlos heart, and since he gets his strings cut in the second phase, that means the real carlo is in control, and he wants to die
After my first playthrough, I had Luxasia at #1 and Romeo at #2. I beat Simon on my second try and he really wasn’t even that hard. If you stay close to him the whole time the fight become trivial. Your commentary about certain bosses cracked me up too
I lured so many people to their out of bounds area or trapped them behind a table etc. and when they would walk away I’d run up hit them and back away. Until they died.
Laxasia was my favorite boss by far. Really enjoyable fight once you learn it, the trick is to switch weapons in phase 2 to something fast, like the salamander dagger. Nameless puppet was also really fun. The ones I hated were the bishop, the swamp boss and the second black rabbit brotherhood fight. All of those felt like absolute ass, not necessarily difficult, just very, very annoying.
I hated walker of illusions and BRB 2. My favorite fight in the game though by miles is King of Puppets. He was the most fun fight for me in the game, Manus being a close second lol.
Brotherhood 2 was the most cancerous fight in the whole game for me. Fuck that agile, constantly jumping, decay coating, dashing little ADHD bunny gctiB. Took me around 4 hours to beat them so way longer than it should have cause at some point I got so annoyed that I involuntarily started trolling.
I used the perfect guard grindstone as soon as I hit Laxasia phase 2 and you can chunk her health with worrying about timing...She is still hard but Nameless puppet phase 2 was the most annoying boss I have ever fought! I ended up kinda cheesing him with the Aegis legion arm and 2 perfect block grindstones...
@@alfredschildishDude, no lying, it was exactly the same way for me, I killed her on the second try. But the last boss took me about 20 attempts, until in the last one I changed weapons and won.
I'm sure a bunch have already said this, but you can actually go back to fight atoned even if you lie to her. You just have to go back as soon as you defeat Andreus. Maybe there's only a certain window of progress you can reach before she just permanently leaves, but I was able to do it on my playthrough
Having played through the game as a Motivity build, I can say that most every boss from Victor Phase 2 has a fake out fatal attack. You notice it a lot more when you're going motivity, since fishing for charged R2 is your bread and butter, but Laxasia isn't the only one. Just the most annoying since her boss fight is so rough. And I have to say, motivity may have some slow hitting weapons, but when you can land those charged R2s, you're getting the charge attacks at such earlier time frames, and nuking their health bars. When you play the whole game like that, you get a bit better at spacing and such, but it definitely is a challenge on some of the more wild bosses. Also, bramble curve sword handle has a real gap closer for a charged R2, and its C/C scaling so you can put a crank on it and have your way with it.
I love seeing all the different experiences people have had with these bosses. I didn't have as much trouble with Simon Manus as other people did - I managed to beat him on my second attempt - but spent what was easily a couple of hours on Fuoco because he was such a pain in the arse. By far, the boss I had the most difficulty with was Nameless Puppet, but that's probably because I'd come to rely on the Spectre a lot to take the boss's aggro.
Fuoco took me 2 tries, Circus guy was 3, Mad Jack was like 5, Sheriff Shock Guy was 1, the pope monster was 1, the black rabbit gang was like 10+ (I stopped counting), King of puppets was 1, Mad Clown was 2, and White Lady was 1. These are listed in no particular order and are just the ones I happened to remember. I'm also not done playing the game yet, my last boss was King of Puppets.
Shot Puts without a doubt carried my playthough Using the trusty big wrench fixes big problems with the boaster handle getting the charge attack off seemed a lot harder to do most bosses, this is where simply though a bowling ball sized item at someone’s head enabling you to get off the riposte is an amazing thing Also the aegis shield is great for red attacks you feel unsure about
the aegis shield is super good. another good one is the puppet string fully leveled up. the puppet string itself is good for fodder enemies, but if you want to wreck elites the final level does work. it's got so-so usefulness against bosses since they're much harder to stagger, but can do some good stuff. aegis shield is probably preferable since you can parry the red unblockables. the weapon i used for my playthrough was the trident you get from downing the archbishop. that thing has 30% crit, a relatively fast R2, and does a ton of damage. you can get stuns/staggers pretty easy with it and it usually one shots fodder enemies, and two shots the slightly tanker fodder enemies. for elites it'll get them in stagger state fairly fast. against bosses, the r2 has solid range, not puppet ripper levels, but still pretty good so you can just use that to poke with until the boss is staggered. the only consumable i used was the legion refill one for puppet strings or aegis shield.
For the archbishop cannon move I found myself comfy in staying underhim while he charges it up and as soon he shoots it go in front of him to avoid the followup body-slam. Depending on you weapon you have the time to do a charged attack aswell while you are under him
18:00 tip for guys having trouble with the second brotherhood fight, do everything like he told you up to the eldest brother, but once he comes out you can just run around the 4 bags in the corner of the room and bait out his attacks, you can use either throwables or long range attacks like the puppet ripper charge attack, hope this helps, be patient
I think scrapped watchman is hard because you are limited in your build options. Not much consumables variety either. You have to get good to beat him.
Status Effects in this game are King. Once you get the Electric Coil Stick, Salamander Dagger, and Acidic Crystal Spear you win. Just take the Acidic Crystal Spear handle and attach whatever of the above Blades to it depending on the Enemy of that area. Also level up Advance to get more Status Effect Damage.
Use the perfect parry grinder on the start of lasaxia 2nd phase, defects all the projectiles and follow-up attack and hopefully you have fable charged for like a quarter of her heath bar
Really gotta appreciate how well they balanced the difficulty of these bosses. Obviously it's not gonna be like "the first boss is easiest with the last boss being the hardest", but I can't think of a single boss that feels like it should have been earlier or later into the game.
@@Parzival8919if you get behind him the side which you fight in the first phase, he'll attack with that side and I think its easier than the snake human side.
Nameless Puppet is by far the hardest for me, since you are forced to solo him. The other 2 "final bosses" can be beaten with specter and wishstone abuse.
A tip for the Walker of illusions if your having trouble with it’s clone it’s actually time based and if you hide at the bottom of the ladder after a couple minutes it’ll despawn and the boss will also reset to its original position
You may want to put Romeo, King of Puppets lower (easier) on your list after you try him again, and literally just dodge forward his attacks. I struggled so long on him, then I was informed of the forward dodge strategy and I killed him literally the next attempt.
man the Nameless Puppet was probably one of my favorite soulslike boss' of all time. Definitely try to perfect block his long attack strings, BIG dopamine and multiple staggers in the fight. I think i staggered him like 3 times when I beat him
I don't really know how you're supposed to perfect block many of his second phase attacks because he just hits so many times in rapid succession. I just ended up guarding most of his attacks getting perfect blocks here and there.
I don't know if this is something, but a good point of advice for Manus (either phase). When he leaps in the air to do a slam attack, just strafe to the right. The slam will have an aoe, but the spot directly to Manus's right will have a safe spot, so you don't lose any stamina for either a perfect block or a dash
Great ranking as always. For me, the Top 5 bosses are all similar in difficulty. I wouldn't put Laxasia at Nr1 simply because she is so extremely weak to acid damage that one can melt through her first health bar and then get into her 2nd phase with 8 or 9 healthregen items remaining pretty consistently.
Tbh I’d put Robot of the Future at 23 every hit is ridiculously easy to avoid. Also for Door Guardian, you’re supposed to hit his exposed right leg to build up stagger more rapidly, even though it doesn’t feel like it.
i literally just fought this boss 1 hour ago and died 4 times because when i clicked to lock in button the game locked the aim in his chest and i never realized his weak right leg, the 5th time tho the game aimed at his leg and i was pissed because the first 4 time it didn't... after that it took me about a minute to kill him
I Bloodborned my entire way to the Mad Clown Boss until getting my shit kicked in so many times. Even with getting the shortcut behind him. The guy basically never stops swinging. Figuring perfect guard out against him came in hand when I made it to the last phase of the last boss..
Now that you've gotten good at perfect blocking, I recommend you go back to Sekiro my man. I think you will enjoy it far more. On a different note, great video as always!
I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the devs, give laxasia 2nd phase a significant nerf, she just seems a little bit to overpowered in her current state. The fact that she does 80% damage even while blocking is a bit overkill & unfair & plus there is not enough openings to get in attack on her because she is constantly in your face. Maybe that’s just me🤷🏾♀️ but we will see what happens!
Using the perfect block grinder at the beginning of phase 2 Laxasia completely reflects her entire lightning barrage and teleport. makes the 2nd phase much easier
The first phase was crazy because it took to long for the shield on her back to brake so you had to be in front of her for the hits the take damage but the second phase was hard af to keep up with you just had to move around a lot 😊
I'm new to lies of p, ive tried other souls like but this one so far has gotten me hooked to actually want to try and pass it. And im glad to see i was able to beat #10 patiently and genuinely got better each time I'd fight him, its such a rewarding feeling.
i needed like 2 hours for laxasia and i killed nameless puppet after 10 minutes and i didnt used any kind of glitches or cheeese tactics. it really depends on the playstyle and build youre using
At first glance I thought 2nd phase nameless puppet was the hardes in the game but after few attempts i was able to parry almost everything, unlike laxasia who i think has way more attacks in her second phase than nameless puppet
I get it, people thinks she's hard. I just found her extremely easy to read even if she is fast in phase 2. The way she goes up in the air and just sits there before jumping down, her stance always lets you know when she's going to teleport to you to hit you or charge you, and the fact that you get a free 25% of her health off with the most basic of parrying skills before she does anything else. Then if you use acid, she's a complete joke.
No wayyy you ranked swamp monster that low. If you really only died 55 times then you're for sure just built different. I'm assuming your play style and weapon choice is something that triumphs the boss designs. Considering you put Laxasia as the hardest when she's not that bad. Another big thing I've realized is the weapon's in the game are extremely unbalanced. It's hard to say if this is good or bad. Like for instance using a weapon like the one you use is amazing against most bosses for the range of the weapon can hit most enemies even after a parry knockback. But using that against Laxasia just bounces off her shield and she's incredibly fast. All of this is really to say you almost have to have a boss rankings per choice of weapon. The weapon is a monumental difference maker in terms of boss difficulty which is a bit disappointing.
You're disappointed that there's variety in the weapons people can use? You would prefer the game just tell you what to do? Idk if souls games are really your style man lol.
@@deathcorebunny2299 It shouldn't be as drastic as it is when it comes to weapon choice. I was struggling to beat puppet king. I then swapped weapons and slaughtered him next attempt and it wasn't even close. How is that balanced? I used a weapon I've never used for the first time, hardly upgraded, but guess what, it was a fast swinging weapon. I think the main issue is a lack of hyper armor for heavy weapons. I believe it's mandatory for making heavy weapons accessible in souls games.
true. Swamp monster was the hardest by far for me. His aoe skills and his attack damage ratio is much more than any other bosses lol. Plus, his timing is not the same which is very difficult to dodge because it is unpredictible and only one shot for him and its 1/2 of your life away.... Not to mention his ultra corruptible attacks (even with anti corrupt items, only 2-3 attacks and its done). And for the final, this mf doesn't stop his attacks. He NEVER stop his attacks and kill pretty easily and fast the dople ganger which makes him totally useless against this boss. You have to learn all of his attacks and have luck to dodge all his tremendous aoe... not to mention again that on his 2nd phase, his armor upgrade as hell which makes him a big fat tank/DPS/aoe mf boss..... So yeah, SWAMP Monster is actually the strongest of all bosses in this game. The others are pretty easy when you know how it works, not the swamp monster who is totally unpredictible......
Right now I'm playing through Lies of P as my first ever soulslike so it's very interesting seeing how the bosses are rated in comparison to what I was experiencing. I'm currently on the Laxasia fight, so I don't have any opinions the bosses that follow her and also skipped those parts of the video to avoid spoilers. But what I found interesting was how high up Victor, Andreus, and BRB2 are on your list. I used the salamander dagger on Andreus and it cut through him like butter. The fight still took me a little over an hour, but remember this is my first ever soulslike game. It took me 4 hours to beat the Watchman lmao. And as for Victor and BRB2, I picked up the Puppet Ripper after fighting the Puppet King and used it through the rest of the game. I agree that Victor's 2nd phase is easier than his first. He has less attacks and you can very easily parry or sidestep them. I just took my time with Victor's second phase and just chipped at him after every lung attack. But the one on the list that surprised me the most was you putting Black Rabbit Brotherhood 2 so high up. I beat it on my 4th attempt. The puppet ripper has not only a really powerful attack that is guaranteed to stagger them whenever you hit them, but its heavy attack has insane range, so you can very easily keep the one thats agro'd on you at bay by running back a bit and then slashing it while it tries to catch you. You can even run into the crowd and do a heavy attack and the insane sweeping edge will hit all 3 of them. The Puppet Ripper also has the very handy ability to essentially be able to hit enemies around corners and over obstacles. Stand opposite one of the random piles of junk in the arena when fighting the awakened oldest brother, and you can hit him from the other side of the trash pile with your heavy attack. For the most part though, I agree with your rating of the bosses. If I had to give my rating right now, not including Laxasia or beyond, I think the Puppet King is #1, BRB1 is #2, Green Swamp Monster is #3, and Scrapped Watchman is #4, at least in terms of how difficult they were for me, having never played a soulslike before. Also I'm not sure if you intentionally skipped the rating of the refight of the Parade Puppet on the way back to the Hotel or not.
Great video as usual. One thing I love about these games is how everyone’s experience differs based on skill, weapon used, build, or if you’re a cheesy summoner lol. Laxasia is my #1 as well. I beat Simon first try (post nerf I know 🙄) and Nameless easily on try 3. Had zero trouble with with Black Rabbit either fight. That said Swamp Monster, Fuego, and Watchman whooped on me for quite some time. Fun times!
Side note: Nameless feasts on cowardice. Just stay in his face the entire time and he will almost always stick to his combos which can be partied pretty easily and even blocking leaves you with plenty of health. Use the small windows to heal and maybe get 1 or 2 attacks in depending on weapon speed. He will also dash. Just close that distance up fast and get in his face again. Fun fight even if Laxasia is the true final boss lol.
It’s so funny, I beat nameless puppet in like 4 tries, but took 20+ with Simon, but my friend took 20+ tries against nameless puppet and beat Simon his 2nd attempt. We had completely different takes on which boss was the hardest in the game, which I think is awesome!
Fun Fact: Did you know that if you brake the weapon of the eldest in the black rabbit brotherhood first fight, his weapon is still broken, when you refight them.
For anyone who says that the Scrapped Watchman is easy I want you to understand he has three attacks that are fast enough to catch you off-guard and a command grab along with taking away your ability to block most of his rage attacks with the electric shit. And he is not very easy to dodge either he he plays like a fuckin gorilla. And a lot of people say he's easy because they use specter and I'm not thrashing anyone who uses a specter but most people when they play a souls like usually don't use summons because that would defeat the purpose of an honorable and difficult challenge... I died 53 times to the Scrapped Watchman because I kept getting grabbed because on Xbox One the delay is abysmal... By the way you keep telling everyone to perfect block everything but I think you should only perfect block if you have a good weapon and build for it because I tried perfect blocking with a Rapier and that was the worst mistake of my life so it depends on your build and your play style and your chosen weapon on if you should Dodge more or perfect block more but yes if you can use perfect blocking it'll save your ass!

for owl what you said. its the main thing i hate and actualy the only thing i hate about this game. the damn small spaces. im used to dodging around then go in swinging (im a run/gunner player for most games) so these small spots like wise owl and survivor annoyed me to hell and back cuz i kept getting stuck well not in wise owl i didnt but i kept hitting that beam. as for most boss fights i noticed if its human fire works and if its a puppet shock works unless the human/puppet uses those attacks then switch it to the other. so if a puppet like watchman uses shock use fire instead. seems to work somewhat decently for atleast a lil bit of extra damage per hit.
i'd dissaggree on the "boss does an attack after getting staggered = developer wants to see you suffer". When I played this game, it caught me many times off guard (and it happens way before the gate guardian btw) and it was actually refreshing and some nice experimenting from the devs. I can't wait to see what they are up to in the dlc and if this mechanic will make it.
10:00 “whose attacks inflict shock for no reason” well actually, you are probably confusing shock with “electric shock” they are not the same. “Shock” that this boss does is the special ailment that doesn’t need to build up, it’s just on you immediately for a certain amount of time if any enemy that uses it hits you. Same with break. It’s not related to electricity, shock in this sense is related to the feeling of shock your body goes into after receiving physical damage. This bosses attacks are so slow and powerful that they literally are causing your body to go into shock. shock severely reduces stamnia regen which is very annoying if you have a motovity weapon lol
Tips for the Black Rabbit Brotherhood: - The youngest’s attack combos should be blocked. Most of them end with him jumping into the air, so when he does, that’s when you attack and get your blocked health back. - The one with the spear can be backstabbed extremely easily by simply strafing to the side. Remember to be aware of the other brothers so you don’t accidentally walk into attacks when you’re focused on backstabbing. - The one with the grappling hook is annoying. It’s difficult to dodge his hook, so be prepared at anytime to be thrust to him. If you’re locked onto another brother when this happens, make sure to unlock then relock onto him so you have an easier time dealing with his immediate attack string. - In the second fight, focus your attention on the brother with the element on their weapon. He’s the only one who is fully aggro on you, while the others are really passive, only occasionally throwing out a ranged attack, which can be determined by an audio cue. I wouldn’t recommended fighting the non-aggro brothers, because doing so will prompt them to attack you, which might be devastating if combo’d with the currently aggro’d brother. - I recommend going for the fire and acid brothers, leaving the electric one for when the second phase starts.
All of these bosses are not that hard with a few tries if you need but the one boss that is literally impossible with as many tries as I can give unless I use a summon is the scrapped watchman.
I feel like those boss nerfs must have been pretty significant because I just did Simon and beat him in two shots, he'd be in my bottom 5 on a difficulty ranking like this probably. Cool fight, very fun, but after the absurdity of Laxasia I found him to be a welcome cakewalk. Same with Victor, he's probably my favorite boss in the game but I beat him pretty quickly once I realized that he's very weak to highly avoidant play and as soon as I just stopped trying to parry him altogether he became very easy. I also didn't think Black Rabbit Brotherhood 2 was that bad at all, probably mostly because I heavily internalized all of their movesets dying to the first fight a shit billion times. Archbishop and Green Monster would also be higher up this list for me, they wrecked me really bad. I bet in terms of overall deaths Archbishop was the highest, but I started to really like the fight by the time I finished it. One fight that I had way more difficulty on than seemingly anyone else was the Walker of Illusions, I think it's a really bad matchup for Frozen Feast, I just could not fucking hit it.

Tip: For those that don't know, and it wasn't mentioned here, when a boss, or any enemy really, is staggered (when you see the health bar turn white) You can use the shot put (steel round ball) throwable to instantly down them, it has the same effect as hitting them with a charged attack. Before I found this out was basically doing what he said, my brain turned off when I saw a stagger, and I was flailing around trying desperately to land a charge attack, which usually resulted in death.

she is hands down the toughest gave me the most trouble and i nearly killed her first try and then she got revenge by curb stomping me into next week the second attempt after i few runs i developed a strategy and then took her down but it was entirely dependent on what she does because if she wants to she will just go for you ignore the spector or vice versa
You can literally just strafe right for like her entire moveset. She is so easy in the first phase. 2nd just parry her lightning and run away. She so easy

For Laxasia, during her first phase, you'll want to use acid damage. The throwable works really well, but make those count. During her second phase, you'll want to switch to fire damage. It was a night and day difference in terms of damage once I started using elements.
The Perfection grindstone also works really well. With enough Perfect Blocks in phase 1 you can break her sword and she'll go straight into phase 2. If you manage to use the grindstone right before her uppercut-hell you'll get so many sweet free perfect blocks and you'll pretty much go into phase 2 completely fresh minus 1 use of your grindstone.
That makes way more sense now. I rolled through her first phase using the acid spear but basically got hard stuck trying to figure her 2nd phase out -- which ended up taking a couple hours worth of attempts + a few hours of me farming levels. Eventually, I just learned her moves and dodged enough to do chip damage with the spear. It was agonizing. I'm definitely going to have some fire with me next time around.

Fun fact about Laxasia 2nd phase, you can actually see her preparing the charge from afar if you don't deflect the lightning bolts, but if you do they turn red and obscure her animation so the charge just feels instantaneous and out of nowhere. Basically in this case you're put at a disadvantage for doing exactly what the game wants you to do. I'm quite convinced the devs made it that way just to fuck with people.
It may be kind of cheating but I just hid behind the pillar on the side of the Bride and she can´t hit you while she is in the air ... :)
Use the instant deflect grindstone and have an extra one on just in case she does it twice and if you avoid her enough she definitely will I killed her first and last twenty hit pints that way and when she divebombs after she can't move so I got her remaining health by just hitting her then. I know I sounds hard but it really isn't it makes her a whole chump
Just practise the timing and perfect block. That move would eat her posture a ton and make her so open if you can perfect block all the orbs and charge.
When the last lightning bolt deflected hits her wait half a second than guard. Super easy timing. Also you can see her light up red just before she slams down

A good tip for Simon is that regen effects trivialize the fight. Be patient and let him come to you while your HP and Legion regen passively, because the dude moves slower than a continent.

Fun Fact: It doesn't matter what dialogue option you choose when talking to The Atoned. If you return later in the game, she'll attack you on site. She's a really easy mini boss.

The large AOE from Archbishop is actually very easy to dodge if you pay attention to the distance, the Spider side always sends it farther away, while skinny man side sends it close, if you stand just below the spiders head it wont hit, and after the spider head fires you can dodge away from the spider so the close range one from skinny man doesn't hit you as the aoe only makes it to about the legs, and you can a lot more DPS in.
u can just go under him to dodge it and really easily punish him

I love the last 3 bosses. It really feels like a dance instead of a one sided attack fest and she might be the hardest but I thought she was the most fun to fight

I found Victor to be one of the easier bosses myself. Getting him in a rotation of his attacks is real easy just staying at distance. I’m shit at perfect blocking in this game so I dodge most of the time. But Victor doesn’t feel hard when you can quick dodge and punish almost all his attacks. I got lucky with Luxasia because I’ve come to realize that while using the specter for a distraction bosses get utterly destroyed with throwables. Throwables are so utterly disgusting in this game I hate and love it.
Using summons and throwables doesnt mean that the boss is easy, just that you took the easy way out

FYI you can fight the Atoned even with the "wrong" dialog option if you return to their area after the level, they will just aggro you when they spot you.
Such a solid ranking! I just beat my first run today. My biggest gripe with this game is that in my opinion every boss doesn't need a full second health bar phase. I'm cool with phase shifts, but there were WAY too many bosses I would finally kill it and realize I was only halfway through the fight. I think that should be saved for a couple of the harder endgame bosses. Such awesome boss designs though, fantastic game.

@@Seto0019 damn, Romeo is less than half way through too. If you look at the wiki, there's 15 main bosses and Romeo is only number 7. He's exactly halfway if you consider that the wiki counts the Barren Swamp boss twice since it has both stages listed

im honestly getting bored of multiple boss health bars now. i was so happy when they gave champion victor a second phase on the same health bar, thats the way to do a second phase. its starting to become a trend and im just bored with it.

Depends on the build i beleive. I had a harder time with walker using heavy weapons vs faster weapons. When i used faster weapon on her i never saw her clone.

Little tip for those struggling with the Nameless Puppet. Deus Ex Machina is a great tool after you land a Fatal Attack. You aren’t gonna get near to them anyway due to the electric AOE they give off while recovering from the Fatal, so Motivity builds can slap down 2 (or 3 if you’re feeling risky) in waiting. They do good damage and give you a great head start towards staggering them again. At least for me they did. Plus they don’t use up consumables, so you don’t go through your supplies as quick.
I killed nameless puppet first try and only healed like 3 times and I didn't have to put near this much effort into it lol

fully upgraded puppet string with the electric grindstone is extremely strong against him too. you can basically deplete half his health bar plus a free stagger by landing 2-3 puppet strings. i don't even feel like i earned the kill really, but i didn't violate my self imposed rules so it is what it is.

That was the only way I could beat the nameless puppet on his second phase I farmed so hard
something to note about the door guardian: I did some testing and his stagger seems to be almost purely based on how many attacks you land, so you can pull out a knife and kill him on about 30 seconds.
Beat Victor first try, laxasia second try and manus second try. The archbishop, Romeo, and green monster took me the most tries. Green monster pissed me off more than any other boss on the game.

whats crazy about nameless, is that he deliberately goes for the heart, they are aware that you have carlos heart, and since he gets his strings cut in the second phase, that means the real carlo is in control, and he wants to die
After my first playthrough, I had Luxasia at #1 and Romeo at #2. I beat Simon on my second try and he really wasn’t even that hard. If you stay close to him the whole time the fight become trivial. Your commentary about certain bosses cracked me up too

Laxasia was my favorite boss by far. Really enjoyable fight once you learn it, the trick is to switch weapons in phase 2 to something fast, like the salamander dagger. Nameless puppet was also really fun. The ones I hated were the bishop, the swamp boss and the second black rabbit brotherhood fight. All of those felt like absolute ass, not necessarily difficult, just very, very annoying.
I agree with everything you said. Laxasia and nameless felt like proper bosses but the others you mention were the bane of annoyance.
swamp boss is just a cunt of fight in its 2nd phase took me 30 attempt i ended up cheesing it with throwables
I hated walker of illusions and BRB 2. My favorite fight in the game though by miles is King of Puppets. He was the most fun fight for me in the game, Manus being a close second lol.

Brotherhood 2 was the most cancerous fight in the whole game for me. Fuck that agile, constantly jumping, decay coating, dashing little ADHD bunny gctiB. Took me around 4 hours to beat them so way longer than it should have cause at some point I got so annoyed that I involuntarily started trolling.
I think the nameless puppet was harder than Laxasia. She's easy(er) if you keep walking to her sides, she'll miss a lot of attacks.

I used the perfect guard grindstone as soon as I hit Laxasia phase 2 and you can chunk her health with worrying about timing...She is still hard but Nameless puppet phase 2 was the most annoying boss I have ever fought! I ended up kinda cheesing him with the Aegis legion arm and 2 perfect block grindstones...
I'm agree, more easy laxasia nameless puppet was unreal for me, took me hours and hours specially in ng+ was looking for one ending

I'm sure a bunch have already said this, but you can actually go back to fight atoned even if you lie to her. You just have to go back as soon as you defeat Andreus. Maybe there's only a certain window of progress you can reach before she just permanently leaves, but I was able to do it on my playthrough

@@CCD2938 you need to kill "the survivor" before talking to her to learn the gesture "stalker's promise" which unlock the lie option.
Having played through the game as a Motivity build, I can say that most every boss from Victor Phase 2 has a fake out fatal attack. You notice it a lot more when you're going motivity, since fishing for charged R2 is your bread and butter, but Laxasia isn't the only one. Just the most annoying since her boss fight is so rough. And I have to say, motivity may have some slow hitting weapons, but when you can land those charged R2s, you're getting the charge attacks at such earlier time frames, and nuking their health bars. When you play the whole game like that, you get a bit better at spacing and such, but it definitely is a challenge on some of the more wild bosses. Also, bramble curve sword handle has a real gap closer for a charged R2, and its C/C scaling so you can put a crank on it and have your way with it.
I love seeing all the different experiences people have had with these bosses. I didn't have as much trouble with Simon Manus as other people did - I managed to beat him on my second attempt - but spent what was easily a couple of hours on Fuoco because he was such a pain in the arse.
By far, the boss I had the most difficulty with was Nameless Puppet, but that's probably because I'd come to rely on the Spectre a lot to take the boss's aggro.
Fuoco took me 2 tries,
Circus guy was 3,
Mad Jack was like 5,
Sheriff Shock Guy was 1,
the pope monster was 1,
the black rabbit gang was like 10+ (I stopped counting),
King of puppets was 1,
Mad Clown was 2,
and White Lady was 1.
These are listed in no particular order and are just the ones I happened to remember. I'm also not done playing the game yet, my last boss was King of Puppets.
Shot Puts without a doubt carried my playthough
Using the trusty big wrench fixes big problems with the boaster handle getting the charge attack off seemed a lot harder to do most bosses, this is where simply though a bowling ball sized item at someone’s head enabling you to get off the riposte is an amazing thing
Also the aegis shield is great for red attacks you feel unsure about
the aegis shield is super good. another good one is the puppet string fully leveled up. the puppet string itself is good for fodder enemies, but if you want to wreck elites the final level does work. it's got so-so usefulness against bosses since they're much harder to stagger, but can do some good stuff. aegis shield is probably preferable since you can parry the red unblockables.
the weapon i used for my playthrough was the trident you get from downing the archbishop. that thing has 30% crit, a relatively fast R2, and does a ton of damage. you can get stuns/staggers pretty easy with it and it usually one shots fodder enemies, and two shots the slightly tanker fodder enemies. for elites it'll get them in stagger state fairly fast. against bosses, the r2 has solid range, not puppet ripper levels, but still pretty good so you can just use that to poke with until the boss is staggered.
the only consumable i used was the legion refill one for puppet strings or aegis shield.

For the archbishop cannon move I found myself comfy in staying underhim while he charges it up and as soon he shoots it go in front of him to avoid the followup body-slam.
Depending on you weapon you have the time to do a charged attack aswell while you are under him
18:00 tip for guys having trouble with the second brotherhood fight, do everything like he told you up to the eldest brother, but once he comes out you can just run around the 4 bags in the corner of the room and bait out his attacks, you can use either throwables or long range attacks like the puppet ripper charge attack, hope this helps, be patient
I think scrapped watchman is hard because you are limited in your build options. Not much consumables variety either. You have to get good to beat him.
I recently beat and started ng+ and he is still a pain.

Status Effects in this game are King.
Once you get the Electric Coil Stick, Salamander Dagger, and Acidic Crystal Spear you win.
Just take the Acidic Crystal Spear handle and attach whatever of the above Blades to it depending on the Enemy of that area.
Also level up Advance to get more Status Effect Damage.

Or not. Plenty of people have beat the game without those weapons, on str or dex builds. Elemental grinders are good too
I found Advance weapons to be really good early game, but they are less effective the further you get into the game.
Technique with a heavy blade on the rapier handle is actually broken that + grinder absolutely dwarfs any advance weapon
Use the perfect parry grinder on the start of lasaxia 2nd phase, defects all the projectiles and follow-up attack and hopefully you have fable charged for like a quarter of her heath bar
Really gotta appreciate how well they balanced the difficulty of these bosses. Obviously it's not gonna be like "the first boss is easiest with the last boss being the hardest", but I can't think of a single boss that feels like it should have been earlier or later into the game.

Nameless Puppet is by far the hardest for me, since you are forced to solo him. The other 2 "final bosses" can be beaten with specter and wishstone abuse.

A tip for the Walker of illusions if your having trouble with it’s clone it’s actually time based and if you hide at the bottom of the ladder after a couple minutes it’ll despawn and the boss will also reset to its original position
You may want to put Romeo, King of Puppets lower (easier) on your list after you try him again, and literally just dodge forward his attacks. I struggled so long on him, then I was informed of the forward dodge strategy and I killed him literally the next attempt.

man the Nameless Puppet was probably one of my favorite soulslike boss' of all time. Definitely try to perfect block his long attack strings, BIG dopamine and multiple staggers in the fight. I think i staggered him like 3 times when I beat him
I don't really know how you're supposed to perfect block many of his second phase attacks because he just hits so many times in rapid succession. I just ended up guarding most of his attacks getting perfect blocks here and there.
I don't know if this is something, but a good point of advice for Manus (either phase). When he leaps in the air to do a slam attack, just strafe to the right. The slam will have an aoe, but the spot directly to Manus's right will have a safe spot, so you don't lose any stamina for either a perfect block or a dash

Great ranking as always. For me, the Top 5 bosses are all similar in difficulty. I wouldn't put Laxasia at Nr1 simply because she is so extremely weak to acid damage that one can melt through her first health bar and then get into her 2nd phase with 8 or 9 healthregen items remaining pretty consistently.

Tbh I’d put Robot of the Future at 23 every hit is ridiculously easy to avoid. Also for Door Guardian, you’re supposed to hit his exposed right leg to build up stagger more rapidly, even though it doesn’t feel like it.
Much like albino i fought it in the cloud. The first one you meet is way easier then the pair you meet later on
i literally just fought this boss 1 hour ago and died 4 times because when i clicked to lock in button the game locked the aim in his chest and i never realized his weak right leg, the 5th time tho the game aimed at his leg and i was pissed because the first 4 time it didn't... after that it took me about a minute to kill him
I Bloodborned my entire way to the Mad Clown Boss until getting my shit kicked in so many times. Even with getting the shortcut behind him. The guy basically never stops swinging. Figuring perfect guard out against him came in hand when I made it to the last phase of the last boss..
Now that you've gotten good at perfect blocking, I recommend you go back to Sekiro my man. I think you will enjoy it far more. On a different note, great video as always!

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the devs, give laxasia 2nd phase a significant nerf, she just seems a little bit to overpowered in her current state. The fact that she does 80% damage even while blocking is a bit overkill & unfair & plus there is not enough openings to get in attack on her because she is constantly in your face. Maybe that’s just me🤷🏾♀️ but we will see what happens!

Using the perfect block grinder at the beginning of phase 2 Laxasia completely reflects her entire lightning barrage and teleport. makes the 2nd phase much easier
The first phase was crazy because it took to long for the shield on her back to brake so you had to be in front of her for the hits the take damage but the second phase was hard af to keep up with you just had to move around a lot 😊
I'm new to lies of p, ive tried other souls like but this one so far has gotten me hooked to actually want to try and pass it. And im glad to see i was able to beat #10 patiently and genuinely got better each time I'd fight him, its such a rewarding feeling.

Everyone puts Laxasia over Nameless Puppet. If you cheese Nameless Puppet with throwables sure, but close quarters he's 10x harder.
Nameless puppet is definitely easier than lasaxia, second phase lasaxia is harder than anything else in the game

At first glance I thought 2nd phase nameless puppet was the hardes in the game but after few attempts i was able to parry almost everything, unlike laxasia who i think has way more attacks in her second phase than nameless puppet
I get it, people thinks she's hard. I just found her extremely easy to read even if she is fast in phase 2. The way she goes up in the air and just sits there before jumping down, her stance always lets you know when she's going to teleport to you to hit you or charge you, and the fact that you get a free 25% of her health off with the most basic of parrying skills before she does anything else. Then if you use acid, she's a complete joke.

If you really only died 55 times then you're for sure just built different. I'm assuming your play style and weapon choice is something that triumphs the boss designs. Considering you put Laxasia as the hardest when she's not that bad.
Another big thing I've realized is the weapon's in the game are extremely unbalanced. It's hard to say if this is good or bad. Like for instance using a weapon like the one you use is amazing against most bosses for the range of the weapon can hit most enemies even after a parry knockback. But using that against Laxasia just bounces off her shield and she's incredibly fast.
All of this is really to say you almost have to have a boss rankings per choice of weapon. The weapon is a monumental difference maker in terms of boss difficulty which is a bit disappointing.

I then swapped weapons and slaughtered him next attempt and it wasn't even close. How is that balanced? I used a weapon I've never used for the first time, hardly upgraded, but guess what, it was a fast swinging weapon. I think the main issue is a lack of hyper armor for heavy weapons. I believe it's mandatory for making heavy weapons accessible in souls games.

true. Swamp monster was the hardest by far for me. His aoe skills and his attack damage ratio is much more than any other bosses lol. Plus, his timing is not the same which is very difficult to dodge because it is unpredictible and only one shot for him and its 1/2 of your life away.... Not to mention his ultra corruptible attacks (even with anti corrupt items, only 2-3 attacks and its done). And for the final, this mf doesn't stop his attacks. He NEVER stop his attacks and kill pretty easily and fast the dople ganger which makes him totally useless against this boss. You have to learn all of his attacks and have luck to dodge all his tremendous aoe... not to mention again that on his 2nd phase, his armor upgrade as hell which makes him a big fat tank/DPS/aoe mf boss..... So yeah, SWAMP Monster is actually the strongest of all bosses in this game. The others are pretty easy when you know how it works, not the swamp monster who is totally unpredictible......
Right now I'm playing through Lies of P as my first ever soulslike so it's very interesting seeing how the bosses are rated in comparison to what I was experiencing. I'm currently on the Laxasia fight, so I don't have any opinions the bosses that follow her and also skipped those parts of the video to avoid spoilers. But what I found interesting was how high up Victor, Andreus, and BRB2 are on your list. I used the salamander dagger on Andreus and it cut through him like butter. The fight still took me a little over an hour, but remember this is my first ever soulslike game. It took me 4 hours to beat the Watchman lmao. And as for Victor and BRB2, I picked up the Puppet Ripper after fighting the Puppet King and used it through the rest of the game. I agree that Victor's 2nd phase is easier than his first. He has less attacks and you can very easily parry or sidestep them. I just took my time with Victor's second phase and just chipped at him after every lung attack. But the one on the list that surprised me the most was you putting Black Rabbit Brotherhood 2 so high up. I beat it on my 4th attempt. The puppet ripper has not only a really powerful attack that is guaranteed to stagger them whenever you hit them, but its heavy attack has insane range, so you can very easily keep the one thats agro'd on you at bay by running back a bit and then slashing it while it tries to catch you. You can even run into the crowd and do a heavy attack and the insane sweeping edge will hit all 3 of them. The Puppet Ripper also has the very handy ability to essentially be able to hit enemies around corners and over obstacles. Stand opposite one of the random piles of junk in the arena when fighting the awakened oldest brother, and you can hit him from the other side of the trash pile with your heavy attack. For the most part though, I agree with your rating of the bosses. If I had to give my rating right now, not including Laxasia or beyond, I think the Puppet King is #1, BRB1 is #2, Green Swamp Monster is #3, and Scrapped Watchman is #4, at least in terms of how difficult they were for me, having never played a soulslike before. Also I'm not sure if you intentionally skipped the rating of the refight of the Parade Puppet on the way back to the Hotel or not.
Great video as usual. One thing I love about these games is how everyone’s experience differs based on skill, weapon used, build, or if you’re a cheesy summoner lol. Laxasia is my #1 as well. I beat Simon first try (post nerf I know 🙄) and Nameless easily on try 3. Had zero trouble with with Black Rabbit either fight. That said Swamp Monster, Fuego, and Watchman whooped on me for quite some time. Fun times!
Side note: Nameless feasts on cowardice. Just stay in his face the entire time and he will almost always stick to his combos which can be partied pretty easily and even blocking leaves you with plenty of health. Use the small windows to heal and maybe get 1 or 2 attacks in depending on weapon speed. He will also dash. Just close that distance up fast and get in his face again. Fun fight even if Laxasia is the true final boss lol.

It’s so funny, I beat nameless puppet in like 4 tries, but took 20+ with Simon, but my friend took 20+ tries against nameless puppet and beat Simon his 2nd attempt. We had completely different takes on which boss was the hardest in the game, which I think is awesome!

Fun Fact: Did you know that if you brake the weapon of the eldest in the black rabbit brotherhood first fight, his weapon is still broken, when you refight them.
For anyone who says that the Scrapped Watchman is easy I want you to understand he has three attacks that are fast enough to catch you off-guard and a command grab along with taking away your ability to block most of his rage attacks with the electric shit. And he is not very easy to dodge either he he plays like a fuckin gorilla. And a lot of people say he's easy because they use specter and I'm not thrashing anyone who uses a specter but most people when they play a souls like usually don't use summons because that would defeat the purpose of an honorable and difficult challenge... I died 53 times to the Scrapped Watchman because I kept getting grabbed because on Xbox One the delay is abysmal... By the way you keep telling everyone to perfect block everything but I think you should only perfect block if you have a good weapon and build for it because I tried perfect blocking with a Rapier and that was the worst mistake of my life so it depends on your build and your play style and your chosen weapon on if you should Dodge more or perfect block more but yes if you can use perfect blocking it'll save your ass!

for owl what you said. its the main thing i hate and actualy the only thing i hate about this game. the damn small spaces. im used to dodging around then go in swinging (im a run/gunner player for most games) so these small spots like wise owl and survivor annoyed me to hell and back cuz i kept getting stuck well not in wise owl i didnt but i kept hitting that beam. as for most boss fights i noticed if its human fire works and if its a puppet shock works unless the human/puppet uses those attacks then switch it to the other. so if a puppet like watchman uses shock use fire instead. seems to work somewhat decently for atleast a lil bit of extra damage per hit.

i'd dissaggree on the "boss does an attack after getting staggered = developer wants to see you suffer". When I played this game, it caught me many times off guard (and it happens way before the gate guardian btw) and it was actually refreshing and some nice experimenting from the devs. I can't wait to see what they are up to in the dlc and if this mechanic will make it.

10:00 “whose attacks inflict shock for no reason” well actually, you are probably confusing shock with “electric shock” they are not the same. “Shock” that this boss does is the special ailment that doesn’t need to build up, it’s just on you immediately for a certain amount of time if any enemy that uses it hits you. Same with break. It’s not related to electricity, shock in this sense is related to the feeling of shock your body goes into after receiving physical damage. This bosses attacks are so slow and powerful that they literally are causing your body to go into shock. shock severely reduces stamnia regen which is very annoying if you have a motovity weapon lol
Tips for the Black Rabbit Brotherhood:
- The youngest’s attack combos should be blocked. Most of them end with him jumping into the air, so when he does, that’s when you attack and get your blocked health back.
- The one with the spear can be backstabbed extremely easily by simply strafing to the side. Remember to be aware of the other brothers so you don’t accidentally walk into attacks when you’re focused on backstabbing.
- The one with the grappling hook is annoying. It’s difficult to dodge his hook, so be prepared at anytime to be thrust to him. If you’re locked onto another brother when this happens, make sure to unlock then relock onto him so you have an easier time dealing with his immediate attack string.
- In the second fight, focus your attention on the brother with the element on their weapon. He’s the only one who is fully aggro on you, while the others are really passive, only occasionally throwing out a ranged attack, which can be determined by an audio cue. I wouldn’t recommended fighting the non-aggro brothers, because doing so will prompt them to attack you, which might be devastating if combo’d with the currently aggro’d brother.
- I recommend going for the fire and acid brothers, leaving the electric one for when the second phase starts.
All of these bosses are not that hard with a few tries if you need but the one boss that is literally impossible with as many tries as I can give unless I use a summon is the scrapped watchman.
I feel like those boss nerfs must have been pretty significant because I just did Simon and beat him in two shots, he'd be in my bottom 5 on a difficulty ranking like this probably. Cool fight, very fun, but after the absurdity of Laxasia I found him to be a welcome cakewalk. Same with Victor, he's probably my favorite boss in the game but I beat him pretty quickly once I realized that he's very weak to highly avoidant play and as soon as I just stopped trying to parry him altogether he became very easy. I also didn't think Black Rabbit Brotherhood 2 was that bad at all, probably mostly because I heavily internalized all of their movesets dying to the first fight a shit billion times. Archbishop and Green Monster would also be higher up this list for me, they wrecked me really bad. I bet in terms of overall deaths Archbishop was the highest, but I started to really like the fight by the time I finished it. One fight that I had way more difficulty on than seemingly anyone else was the Walker of Illusions, I think it's a really bad matchup for Frozen Feast, I just could not fucking hit it.
