Yes, yes, yes, you struck it again, our " Professor " of guitar tutorial. You make it so much fun and you are so right, if you sing it out you can play it, so wonderful, specially for an old fossil like me (oxygen theif) ha, ha.The family now know that when I'm on Lauren time there is no interruptions. Love and blessings from the bush in the Kruger Park in South Africa.🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
I can no longer count the hours ive spent with my guitarr and your super great youtube class, and now after ive had my guitarr for one mount, and hardned fingertips, i can actually somewhat play along to this great song. Thank you, and greetings from Sweden.
Hey lady I am 50yrs old just bought my 1st guitar! Searched the web for beginner lessons and as usual got the same thing way to fast for most newbies? Then I found you, your videos r the best how you slow it way down, actually show how to strum the strings most people don’t. Myself being a drummer ( probably b4 u were born lol ) find it helpful how you suggest to sing or hum the notes as you play. Just wanted to say the first week was very frustrating then I found you, it’s only been 4 days with you and I almost have this one down. Just wanted to say thank you and keep it up 👍 think I will b on your by next week with your help lol 😂
This reminds me. Late one night in 1973, I hear a Memphis DJ interviewing Steve Miller. He enticed Steve to play "The Joker" live on the radio. I was blown away! He played much differently alone than on the recording. He could improvise and show off his talent. I was amazed!
Gotta clear my head of the “night” I heard this for the first time. Back to topic great job fun song, excellent tips like the counting variation, your humility “ I hit the the wrong chord” shows your humility.
Awesome as usual, I was beginning about 6 weeks ago, I had my gallbladder blow up I have been weary of picking up again I realize and know there is no correlation between the two well timing but not the Guitars fault.
Thank you for that Lauren. I have a bass guitar and my young daughter has and can play an electric guitar. This is going to be a must for our practise sessions. Best wishes. Stay safe. Keep well.
Yes, the Gretsch was in the shop getting tuned up and new strings for the Blues Guitar Course I'm working on right now. That was the first guitar I bought with my own money.
I started age 4 gave up at 11 then recently got back into it missed jamming im 23 now 😂😂😂 im sorta naff at the moment but your lessons are helping so yhank you

Great job as usual Lauren. Was just listening to an oldie but goodie. We’re Having a Party originally done by Sam Cook I believe and revived by Rod Stuart on his Unplugged album. Great fun song and would like your take on it. Thanks
I’ve learned from you today. Definitely earned a sub from me :) keep up the great content. I purchased a guitar for 100.00 just to get the feel of playing and learning.
Hello Lauren. I know I'm asking a lot of you but have you the song 74 75 by the connells. I love this song but i don't find good explications. P@t from France
I'm really enjoying all of your lessons, but im really having difficulty with my high E string, it sounds like it is blaring loud and drowning out my chords.. I keep trying to adjust my positioning but every other strum it rings so loud it seems to ruin the sound... is it just me? Thanks so much!

I'm not perfect that's for sure. I think it's good that you see I make mistakes all the time. And I like pointing them out too.
So simple for beginners love it ❤❤

Well there ya go!!!!
Awesome as usual, I was beginning about 6 weeks ago, I had my gallbladder blow up I have been weary of picking up again I realize and know there is no correlation between the two well timing but not the Guitars fault.
Ouch. I hope you recover soon and get back to the guitar
You got me when you basically said that you said that you pretty much do "palm muting" with your fretting hand. I do that too.
It's a really great skill to master. I feel like once you can really use that technique well it takes your guitar playing to a whole other level.
Love this easy riff and strumming pattern to one of my favorite songs. You make learning and playing songs so easy.
You're welcome Victor. That's what I do on this channel. Make guitar make sense

Welcome aboard Blake!
On that rythm can you do 4 c's
At the end instead of two
For C's? Are you asking if you can make the measures longer? If it's an interlude or an ending, it might work.
Awesome ! 👏😁😜🙏,…😎. I can ACTUALLY do this 😱😆☺️
Yay!!! That's awesome. Have fun this weekend.
The Joker
who won the guitar give away?
A woman by the name of Patti. I mailed her the guitar today!
Your at 99% at making me pick up my guitar again
I used to live and breath the guitar
I think the problem is I don't know what I wa t to play??
Darren, well pick it up and pick something fun. Maybe this song?

Oddly I can't sign it but I can count it. I couldn't carry a note if it had a handle, it really limits my guitar playing progress.
