But just know, Bulldogs are plagued with health and skin issues and can be alot of work.Enjoy the new pup. I know he has a loving family and an excellent forever home. Just had to comment about the latest edition to your wonderful family! Way back in 1956 when I was 9 years old my aunt bought an English bulldog puppy & I loved that dog!! They are characters & so funny! His name was Jake & I'll never forget him! You'll have so much fun & so will Ellie {&maybe Scooter will come around, too.} I dearly love you guys & God Bless!

Sometimes their eyelids closed and they have to have surgery to have them opened up the second thing is he’s already snorting. He may have problems as he gets older with breathing through his nostrils so you may have to have surgery on those that have them widen which they’re not either one of them are not really danger surgery they’re just a pain in the butt to have them done. We have had 2 English bulldogs and now a French bulldog. The number one tip I can give is DO NOT ever let him get hot. They can't breathe in the heat. Best dog you will ever own and sooooo sweet. Jinx brand food is vrry good for English bulldogs. It helps with their skin issues and you can buy it at Wal-Mart. Congratulations.
English Bulldogs are low-maintenance when it comes to exercise and only need around 30 minutes to an hour a day. Split walks into two 30-minute sessions to prevent overexertion.
