I'm in Cali, and I hardly ever use more than one gel. However, I enjoy watching the Base study and I've just enjoyed your channel in general since I've been watching it for a long years. Also, it's just good watching other ladies who have been successful with growing their hair while wearing mostly WnG styling.

Thanks for this wrap-up. I have this custard in my hair now as a topper for my wash 'n go, over Curly Magic and I Create Hold. It's giving me good definition.

Well I was not expecting that! I like the base gel series. I’m learning a lot . I’m curious if putting a little enbba on top of the custard would work for longevity since they are both xanthan gum based🤔

Your hair looks great. Can you do more videos about being vegan? I'm sure many of us need to eat healthier and I wonder how you are able to eat healthy with high food prices.

Thank you. Vegan videos would stray a bit from what gets views on my channel. 🤔 If you haven’t seen them, check out my video on how I lost weight and the live I did almost a year ago. I talk about how I eat in those.
What I eat isn’t expensive or exciting-potatoes, broccoli, rice, frozen veggies, etc.

When you say dryness on wash day, what are you noticing/feeling?
And would you recommend more humectant products for Cali?

      Ooo, good Qs!
My hair would feel not as smooth as usual after the shampoo step and would require more conditioner than usual to get the feel I go for before I begin detangling. Just overall my hair didn’t feel like it typically would.
I’m not sure what I would recommend for Cali since I never frequent such a climate. BUT I saw my husband get away with Kinky-Curly with no additional topper out there! Should he get homesick again 😂, I’ll likely do one of my softer combos-no topper needed-just because I know it’ll last.

@@WhatTheKink thank you. And gotcha, softer sets. That makes sense.
