Lebanon before 2019 wasn't in crisis and mea was still the same so it wouldn't be better or worst
It's nice that state-owned MEA manages to serve during a liquidity crisis

And with the division within Lebanese society, the central bank (which is controlled by Sunnis) hardly ever done anything in the interest of Lebanese people

MEA's pilots are the most skilled pilots in the world, did you see the landing? I mean come on, the smoothest landing I've ever seen, cheers!
The landing was good, but i doubt their pilots being any better than any other companies.

They indeed are! My mom used to work with them as a flight attendant and she tells me how professional they are! They once made an emergency landing without brakes! They had a brake failure
What a smooth landing by a single Aisle aircraft... I didn't realize it has landed until I saw that the wind breakers came up... and what a lovely service.
For decades I have heard about the abundance of food and great quality of the meal service. Bravo MEA
MEA looks like a great airline to fly. Their paint the scheme is one of the most beautiful anywhere in the world.
It could be bacuse is a 3 50 m flight
MEA's livery is nice and clean, but not really that remarkable. Personally, Vietnam Airlines's scheme is much classier and KLM's is much more iconic.

Let’s don’t forget, MEA was always a class airline, I remember flying with them back in the 70s , always impeccable service, I’m glad they maintain their high standards.

Yeah, the drop-down screens are unusual on newer aircrafts but it allows to better capture the attention of the passengers during the safety instructions, actually it is a very good idea !

I agree! Flickering through is annoying! Overhead can show different Information and anouncements too. Airbus 321 neo is one of the best planes! It's very quiet plane

Airlines like Gulf Air , MEA and Oman air are soo f**** underrated. Surely these airlines are far better than other airlines in terms of service and punctuality.
most of the middle eastern airlines are very good even gulf air which used to be very mediocre has improved itself by quite a mile
I flew on El Al's 787-8, and it was the best flight of my life.
Therefore, its surely underrated.
Gulf air used to be the center of Arabian luxury well thanks to the shitty management it has fallen behind but it's definitely coming back now

if I could make a suggestion, i think that a cool tripreport would be one of united's 757, especially transatlantic. I know you've done 757s before, but for some reason I really associate united with the model, and it'd be cool to check it before they're retired.

Yeah, I love it. MEA has a perfect current fleet that includes the Airbus A330-200, Airbus A320-200, and the Airbus A321neo, which has the most beautiful livery ever. MEA even have the Airbus A330-900neo and the Airbus A321XLR on order.
Yeah, when the situation gets better there, they will hopefully start going to the US and Canada. Maybe in 2026, when they receive their Airbus A330-900neo’s, they will put them on the US and Canada routes from Beirut, since it will be their largest aircraft in their fleet, and the a330neo is capable of flying very long distances.
The MEA chairman did want to order the Airbus A350-900, but they decided to leave that to the future, since it is not needed as of now. If they end up ordering the Airbus A350-900, they will probably put those in the US and Canada routes.
