stem separation has been in RB for quite a while now. you have to activate the functionality in the settings (it's hidden somewhere) and you can custom map to older controllers too
AI may be making that many songs a day but here is the thing... In the United States, those songs can NOT be copywritten, meaning that there is no ownership over those songs UNLESS someone with the creative skills to break it apart and add to it and make something new with it that basically gives it the human touch to make it theirs. It can be thought of more as in sampling, sort of like how the old school hip hop music was made. That is what would have to be done in order to even attempt to obtain a copyright in the United States. Other than that, AI music is a novelty. Its something to make parody music with or generate music for inspiration. I can picture it being used for generating music for a youtube channel though. I think it can still have it's uses, but other than what I mentioned, I don't think it's anything to be afraid of. A.I. can't perform live shows... Unless of course you consider a DJ pushing a button a musician, lol.
Tencent is such a huge company. Just saw they are releasing a One Piece mobile game soon and it's looks incredibly well
Looks like they are seriously getting into music streaming and AI as well.
@@MT-Tune-In everywhere. They probably already have streaming service for a long time
@@MT-Tune-In Tencent owns 3 music apps/services with over 700 Million users (most over Asia) and 120 Million paying customers, and thats only the Tencent music part (47% owned by Spotify), they also are big on Games, Movie streaming and industries, but usually pass under the radar in the west. Tencent owns 40% of Epic Games (Fortnite, Epic Games Store) and over 30 gaming companies
2:40 huh? Rekordbox has stem separation for a long time already. I think you did a mistake there
We added it on the pinned comment afterwards. 😊
Thanks for the news, Alice 👍✨
Happy to report, Thank you for tuning in! ✨
Alice, you're great!
Aww thank you!
Jetsetting! English is silly. You rock!
haha today I learnt! 😊 Thank you!
Don't worry, I predict there will be a parallel scene of producers and listeners who only want human made music and all the "big time labels" with commercial AI music and in the end, the human made music will flourish and we start making money again with our releases. The only thing we have to do is our "underground EDM labels or independents" start filtering out the AI music and do not release it.
I expect an "AI Filter" on spotify but the problem is what happens when people don't report it. It is a fascinating topic and I am really following closely on all different aspects. We will live and see.
Producers and the creative world in general is done.
You are so pretty.
Tecent music haha, Its like North Korea Music has a group.
Don't be afraid. The more AI crap music they release, the less valuable will be, it's just a matter of supply and demand. On the other hand, the more human our music is, the more valuable will be. Remember that digital scam named NFT?
This isn't NFT, it's AI. It's going to continue to get better. I'm already shocked at the level of songwriting these things have.
@@JT-qc2nb nah, AI makes mindless garbage and always will, it's only good as an auxiliary tool and for simplifying routine tasks. Also familiarize yourself with the term "model collapse"
@@JT-qc2nb I think people overestimate how good these "AI" algorithms will be. Data sets have a limit, I don't think "AI" can inherit many emergent properties from them even they'd be massive, it'll be mostly imitation and cross modulation of known parameters. The legality of using certain data sets for training will likely be brought into question more. And since "AI" generated content is already flooding internet, model collapse is also likely unless the training sets will be able to effectively filter it all out.
The AI hype radiating from every tech company is marketing, let's not forget their primary goal is to sell a product and get investors on board. How much better will these models become is still questionable and I wouldn't blindly follow the hype.
It's the next industrial revolution, Too cheapen people's creative output. We can choose or not to choose AI in music.
I think AI isn't an issue, because nobody is going to listen to AI music, even if it gets released I think too many people like real human musicians. A discography from an AI would be utterly hollow on the back end, no struggles, no real human
Do you think we need a filter music streaming services that filters out AI music?
BBL Drizzy 😬
There are many channels uploading ai music. Some get loads of views
@@MT-Tune-In yes we should
@@cottoo1 no way
🫀🫀🫀
People have been racing to make the same song over and over for years. I welcome AI to get rid of the hacks (probably 99% of Beatport, Spotify whatever)
If you can be replaced by a robot you deserve to be replaced by a robot. Sad truth accept it and move on.
