- Same but different. Surf fishing at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast. A variety of fish caught - whiting, bream and tarwhine. Fishing this area is always enjoyable with Surfers Paradise as the backdrop.
Nice bream and whiting, just wandering do you catch any bigger fish like mulloways off the beach?
I have never fished for Mulloway but yes you can catch them off the beach.
Hey John ,good video mate a nice looking gutter there, did you see any sand worms on the beach there, they are along that bit of beach time to time.
Cheers Chris
Hi Chris, Yep there are beach worms all along that stretch of the beach. I usually get them straight out the front of Kurrawa Surf club.
@@johnthefishingman I will have to keep my eye open for you mate,my Daughter lives in Alfred St ,quiet often at the Surf club , have you been down for a fish for whiting mate.
@@dingydate Hi Chris, Actually went down to the Broadwater on Saturday. Lots of little stuff about - probably stirred up from the recent rain. Waste of a day - wind got up earlier than expected and made it difficult to fish the areas I was targeting.
@@johnthefishingman Ok ,I thought you should have been ready for a fish, i fished the Nerang a week ago, and did ok twelve whiting and lot of smaller bream and tarwine. might try again before full moon ,they have had about 76 mills of rain down there in this last week so not sure how it will be. cheers mate.
