Did this engine actually run after this rebuild because I'm getting ready to start building my engine and I just couldn't find a build video or manual on putting the g4fj engine back together after tearing it down
Check tolerances in the crank and rod and in the cylinder and piston, I sent my crank to get tuned on the main and rod journals then ordered oversized bearings I am confident if done correctly this issue won't happen again at least in my case scenario
@@raymundobiby3986 what tools do you HAVE to have to do this job? I just did the timing chain on mine, though it wasn't hard it pissed me off just doing all the work anyway the engine has 250,000 miles on it, it SEEMS to be okay but I think a rebuild might not be a bad idea maybe when it gets to 300,000 but ill put it this way. I did an oil change, then I did the alternator, then I did the timing chain other than that I have never done anything on cars just doing it because its too freaking expensive to have a mechanic do anythinng and if I want it to continue to run and avoid a new car payment man ill try to get to a million miles if I can, I hate car payments, I hate payments., but car payments esp
Eji, thanks for the great video. I have seen many videos of kia engine being taken apart, but not rebuild. 👍
How is the pin conecting the piston and rod held together?
Awesome video! Just a question, before installing head gasket and after you applied silicon. What kind did you use? Thanks in advance.
What are those seals called that go in between the ladder frame and block
Also what’s the torque value for those bolts

Also oversized the pistons due to the stock setup being very lose

You’re from Nigeria. I can hear it.
Do you have to order the crankshaft from KIA? Ive seen a lot of cheap crankshafts for sale in a rebuild kit.
Hi nice work,
How many miles on the engine?
I have a 1.6 hundyia tusson turbo 1000 hundred miles
