looking to upgrade from certainteed windows with a window with built in blinds, triple hung, wood fiberglass . I have read many reviews and I thought the Marvin Integrity would work but no blinds.then a review and the customer said they are bad. The windows? or the installation? more confused than ever.thanks for all the great information.
Steven Sieja Better value is Mezzo just make sure you get it with super spacer. OKNA 500 has no reinforcement in the meeting rails. If it were the OKNA 800 the added cost may be worth it.
Thanks! I did go with the Mezzo and happy so far with it! This winter will tell the full story. Mezzo seems very well constructed and love the narrow profile.
Very happy with the Mezzo. Don't have any knocks on it. Seems to be a good quality vinyl window, don't let some window salesman for another brand tell you otherwise.
To bad this window and every other Allside window comes with a lifetime warranty where you wouldn’t have to fix anything with a heat gun. You don’t have to re-screen your screens because they’re also covered under the warranty. That is if that ever were to happen. Also you can upgrade your screen if you want to.
just had mine put in 4 weeks ago, big air leaks and ice forming on inside of windows. Told me I had parts missing and they are ordering them now. That was a week ago, told today it will take 3-4 weeks to come in and maybe getting new glass. Our temps. are going in the minus this week, didn't spend 3,000.00 to still have crappy windows but that is what I got.
@@joycem.7857 yep same story here. I had 14 Mezzo windows installed 3 months ago and all 12 of the double-hung had ICE on the them. They leak cold air like crazy. In fact - I even put tape over the seam where the top and bottom sashes overlap and latch - and the ice even formed on TOP of the tape because the air infiltration was so bad. And the temp in the rooms was in the low 70's. Hell, the 30 year old wooden Anderson windows and the larger 30 year old vinyl CertainTeed windows that these Alside replaced - NEVER did that.
@@lazarusgethsemane8558 still waiting for my parts. it will be 3 weeks come this Wednesday I was told 3 weeks they were rushing them. They are getting one chance to correct this I already contacted discover I was lucky I put this on my charge there is no time limit and if it's not fixed then I'm calling in a dispute on them they'll take that money right back from them $3,000 out the window literally speaking and with you having 12 Windows a lot more than that.I agree with you I just told my husband the other day the windows we had before didn't even do this a little bit of the seals were broke so the windows would steam up in between the glass but they had an excuse they were 30 years old these are brand new no excuse
I hired a contractor, said I'd get a brand of windows, then this one instead. I call them crap windows. Just like the crap contractor. If you see Quality in a name of a contractor, don't use them.
Alside Mezzo are JUNK. I just had 14 Alside Mezzo windows installed 3 months ago - and they ALL leak cold air - they have condensation AND ICE build up. Overall their construction is cheap and sloppy. On their corner fusion welds there are lots of melted vinyl build up that should have been trimmed off. And their pile weather stripping is woefully inadequate. I would NOT recommend these over-priced sub-par pieces of hyped-up crap.
Lazarus Gethsemane if that’s true contact your dealer and take advantage of your lifetime warranty and have them fixed. Unless you used a A company who is not a certified Allside dealer an installer. In that case you’re probably leaking cold air because your installer didn’t know what they were doing
@@hannahscott1443I was about to get Alside but numerous internet searches for Alside reveals almost all very negative reviews. Alside is either so good that competitors are trying to bad mouth them or they have a very serious quality and warranty issue.
I think it's the former. We've had 32 Alside vinyl replacement windows for well over a decade and they work and look great. The installer is the key- if we've ever had a problem, the installer has handled it directly for us
Dan, thanks for all of your reviews! I hope to see your Alside Mezzo review soon. Simonton Azure vs Alside Mezzo would be nice also!
Hey Dan Where is the Mezzo Review Love your Reviews
Love the review! Can you do review on Marvin brand? Also fiberglass vs vinyl?

Please do a Mezzo Review! I've been in between the Mezzo and Okna 500. Love the 500 but it's about $150 a window more.

Hi, how do you like the Mezzo? Looking to get some myself

Hello! Love your window reviews. Will you please tell me how the Alside fusion window compares to Pella 250?
I'm looking for the video review of the Mezzo window. Please.

I know this is nearly a decade old. However is there anyway I could bother you for an opinion on a bad experience I am having with an installation?
Hi We are seriously looking at the Alside Mezzo window. We would love to see your review on the Mezzo. Any chance that is coming soon?
Hey I'm looking at the Mezzo, How do you like it?
Does anyone have a review of the Mezzo Window?

Did you have them come out and what did the tell you was the problem?
Joyce M. What was the problem that your windows had
I bought 11 casement windows 1000 dollars each ! They arrived with window inserts ! Ultra Max windows ! I was robbed !
For some reason I thought you were going to talk about Microsoft Windows. 😂😆🤣😅😝
