My aunt used to stay every winter in Quartzsite every winter in her motorhome back in the mid 90's. It has grown a lot since then, but it sure beats spending the winter there instead of somewhere north in the snow and cold! Perhaps someday you can get one of those portable solar shower setups so you can shower at your own campsite?
You make the whole experience of you traveling look very adventurous and exciting. It be awesome to do what you do and visit these places you've visited. I especially liked the Slab City clips that segment you did with the Builder of the range was very heartfelt. Thanks for all you post i deeply appreciate you sharing all what you've posted.

I follow another nomad, RVTv, and he is in Quartzsite. There seems to be alot of nice people there right now. I love the different rocks and gemstones for sale at the big tent. Just love your travel journeys, keep the nomad gypsy vibes going!💕🙏
Jet boils are pretty life changing for camping.
We are out here for the RV show. There are a lot of people here for sure.

Thanx for the details on of your rig. Learned some new things, like the foldout solar panel powered batteries. I regularly shop for such things but missed those. I have 300W Jackery. Small and effective. Shopping for electric fridge. What is yours. Like the cover for it.

Guessing you've met lots of folks at the RTR. I am hesitant to go for many of the same reasons. Maybe next week when I get closer to Q, currently near Yuma.
Maybe this summer I can fix up my 2005 GMC Envoy I can go down over there next week winter to get away from the cold

Publicity will help your Channel, and help your subscriptions grow. I travel with a big Hickory Stick. Approximately 3 ft long. And it barely makes a dent when you slap it onto concrete floor. It won't break, but it can do some damage. And of course we'd only be used in protection. Because I don't possess a handgun. Plus it's not safe to travel with a handgun across state lines anymore. But I believe in best protection is prayer. And I will continue to pray for you, consistently.

There is a French Press kit you can get for your Jet Boil that turns your Jet Boil into a French Press! I love mine and it's easier for clean up. Awesome Jeep!

It was such a thrill for me to meet you and Little One at the RTR today - well worth the drive down from the Phoenix area. I'll put the sticker you gave me on the back window of my Liberty so you will know it is me when I blow past you on the trails. jk My Liberty is a total wimp compared to your beast. Hope to see you again sometime. If so, I will try not to babble on about getting stuck in the sand and digging myself out.

The best person to meet there is u tuber RVerTV is there now and has over 100,000 subs, his name is Russ and is a very nice guy. He is there every Jan for the big tent event. He has a white van with solar panels on top, Good luck on meeting people.

Just a thought. Travelers are just like any other group. Mostly good, but not all. Easily portable things, worth a bit. You might want to cover Also consider a ski-mask for sleeping in very cold weather. I always had trouble keeping my face warm. A ski-mask, solved it. Also consider, stopping by the big tent. You will see things there. You may not see anywhere else.

While you're out there, you should check out the Kofa Mountains, particularly Kofa Queen Canyon. Its BLM (or National Wildlife Refuge?) but you can boondock. Gorgeous Sonoran Desert landscapes. The way that the sun fills the washes and backlights the cactii during sunrise is pretty awesome to witness.
