    First time viewer and impressed with content and production values. Also appreciate your candid comments re the area and the rigors of boondocking. When starting full time, tent camped for nine months--great fun. That was almost 23 years ago. Love the RV life and also love full hookups. Never been to the Q and never understood the allure of being around all those people. Keep up your fine work!

      @@RoamingWithRosie Yes it is. I had to do a little research but my first time there was before the big RV show when it was just the gem& mineral show so around 40 years ago. I had a Aunt and uncle who stayed there for the season. They told me to dry camp in the back McDonald's parking lot (for $ 5.00). This allowed you to get water and use the restroom when they were open. One fun thig was they had a special Coffey cup. You bought it in the morning and got free refills for the day.

Many of the businesses are open November to March and often are looking for staff for the season. Nice video. I’m not trying to be rude, but that is not I-95. It’s US-95. The Interstate 95, I-95, runs from Florida to Maine on the East Coast.
    All Interstate Highways are I-xxx labeled. Major highways that are not Interstates are US Highways. (And of course I-10 runs through Q). Enjoyed your video, good job.

    Nice channel! My question deals with dust. We usually go to dustless FLA. How bad is the dust at Quartzite both for people breathing it and for cleanliness inside the RV?

    • @RoamingWithRosie
      @RoamingWithRosie  Год назад +4

      It can get very dusty sometimes in the BLM areas. At 3:56 into the video, I showed a windy day. As all these storms from California roll by, it can get windy & not always enough rain to keep it down. Also, near the dirt roads thru the LTVA, it gets dusty. If you stayed at an RV Park, you wouldn't deal with it though. The town is fine.

    • @happycook6737
      @happycook6737 10 месяцев назад +2

      Avoid especially if you have asthma. There is a fungus that is mixed with the dust called "Valley Fever". (Cocyodidymyosis spelling?) Some people get sick and die from it but most get it and recover without knowing they had it. Dogs can get it too. Main symptoms are tiredness, coughing, weight loss, feeling unwell. People may have no symptoms, a few, or all. So my point is people who live in Arizona are careful about dust, blowing dust, etc. Fluconazole is the only medicine for Valley Fever. Yes there is constant wind on the desert and every vehicle stirs up dust along with the wind. Then there can also be dust storms during monsoon season. We still love Arizona.

      Thanks for the question. Since we don't use either, we sent your question to our friends from RView Of America.
