This is probably my favorite real talk so far. No tips, no how to, no be better... Just love and real humanity. I get soooo much out of this episode! This has been a before and after on my point of view about what is greatness. Thank you both so much for bringing this up and sharing! You both are great!
Thank you Simon and Lewis for this very deep heartwarming conversation. You both are so grounded. We need people like you to help change thie perspective of our confused world
Simon is the best compassionate storyteller of 9-11, year’s later we can hear how events deeply changed his life- how priorities change going forward from that day forward!! I love him with all the heart he has for people(all people). We share a heartfelt empathy for people who struggle no matter a label placed upon that person! Doer’s are tired, poor and rich are lonely; being guarded is exhausting. His story reminds me of a soldier coworker; who had served in a foreign war; he described how incredibly distasteful to returning then encounter - us being unappreciative of ‘simplest meal’ and impatience in drive-thru! The contrast of kids cherished a candy bar to be split amongst 10 kids, a mother’s intense hug he received for a sandwich to feed her children and herself!
I feel like I haven't seen Simon in AGES. I appreciate that he's not preachy or trying to over-intellectualize the conversation to sound profound. The most intelligent people are also the most clear of thought.

So glad you had Simon on. He offers many good points. Your qquestions are very insightful. Thank you both. And thank you for being you Lewis, and upkeeping your channel. Your dedication and hard work by you & your team. shows. You're improving people's lives interview by interview. Your growth of interview questions is impressive. Thanks again.
Re: boundaries: boundaries helps you know someone more on a deeper and intimate level. It's part of who they are so if you want to know the totality of them, boundaries are included. (although totally understand how boundaries can be scary and foreign becasue in childhood setting a boundary with a parent probably got met with some not nice consequences so the association remains)
Listening to the 9/11 story reminds me of living through a natural disaster that killed 100s of people and destroyed my city, It was horrific. I got to my job as a nurse as soon as I could physically get there and did whatever I could amongst the chaos to care for the traumatised survivors. That day and the lessons I learned that day will never leave me and was a defining event that changed me. As hard and horrific that experience was, including suffering from PTSD afterwards, it taught me about what really matters and to live with gratitude and appreciate the blessings that I have in my life.
For a sec, Simon paused and jumped back from job example...and went back to his thought process when he gave his own example as to how AI can figure out what his new ideas are ...because they arent really new. AI can predict the thought process. I loved that he said it as a FACT that the people "pay a cost" for anything - ne way or another.
Very valuable discussion, I really appreciate Simon’s outlook on people and their worth. And the importance of humor and it’s timing. Thank you. He’s so open and willing to share himself in order to contribute good to the people around him so they learn and pass it on to others.
A true GEM 💎 of an interview! Simon Sinek is such a BRILLIANT mind and it shines through! So many PROFOUND truths shared - it’s hard to pick just one! For personal reasons, I especially loved the whole conversation on boundaries as it has soooo many practical lessons that were shared. Lewis was MASTERFUL as an interviewer. Kudos to you Lewis for helping to facilitate a truly insightful conversation! 👏🏽
The Co-creating concept in relationships is amazing! It’s a central theme in couples counselling. The relationship is a huge part of the works focus. 😊
I am a huge fan of Simon and have watched/listened to much of his content online. This is the first time hearing his account on 9/11 and it made me cry. Thanks for this interview 🙏🏻
the lack of empathy is one of the many things of our society that 'eats me alive', it's pure horror and not how we are made or why we are made for (figure of speak), hugs from Belgium (it seems it's in loads of countries 😢).
That is so true what Simon says about how “influencers are freelance employees of algorithms”. I notice on RUclips when there must be a shift in the algorithms…”everyone” starts posting Shorts, or posting segments on certain topics, etc. I think it is sad in a way that they bow to an algorithm instead of doing what their heart and creative mind would rather do on their channels. Some may be fine with that, but as a creative, I won’t bow to an algorithm. (Granted, as a nano-influencer, I don’t rely on that income like they may.)
Simon & Lewis, you both are truly inspirational DIVINE MASCULINES for the world - I love how much you share from your heart and teach other men to do the same. Blessings of Love, Light and Peace to you always!!!!!!
This was phenomenal!!! I loved every second of this interview. Lewis - your questions and follow-up comments are full of such depth. Kudos to you in every language . . .
I ran into Simon Sinek in Chelsea, England about month or so ago. He was so pleasant. As I expected he would be. Really nice guy.

Hey Simon, you're simply the best. Putting hard things simple for me (us) to understand. Better yet, to reflect and then act on things... Greetings from Mexico.
The way he explained how to live with boundaries is really great, bottom line is communication and be clear of our explications. Thank you so much. Great interview and guess. ❤
Loved every minute of this talk❤ Judge ourselves by the life that we live. How we help and contribute to those around us. Excellent. Productivity? PooPoo. BE A GOOD, KIND, LOVING PERSON. Everything else will fall into place.
He could pass for John Lennon's younger brother. Very inspiring ❤ guys. Aren't you both influencers? I might be lazy tomorrow watching you guys at 3:32 am, but you were worth it
I like Simon Sinek so much more after this conversation. I liked him before but I did not realise how deep a thinker he is on topics such as capitalism. Really interesting stuff and very relevant.
I question Simons observation on "getting a trophy for coming in last" thing. As a parent of a man with Autisim I can honestly say that I got my Seratonin hit when watching him compete in Special Olympics or just at the park. I could tell he got a hit of Seratonin when he crossed the finish line or bench pressed a barbell of steel over his head.
Wow. First time listening to Simon and he is in touch with the human world (viewed most issues from the human stand-point & is very relatable). Am not based in the USA but related to and enjoyed the interview.
Simon and Lewis?!?!? Two of my very favorite heroes. ❤ so thankful to get to hear you two. (Simon, you are legend. ) Soon I’ll be going to my first SOG. So excited to be with you Lewis and other amazing people !
We won't be surprise in Europe when that is going to be the moment to fight people who are not reasonable !! We know perfectly that in France it is written in our history !
Simon Sinek's presentation of reasonable thinking makes me feel like things are going to be okay ❤ thanks Simon and we'll wishes for Inner Peace to you ❤
What if you try to set boundaries with someone, especially your partner, and you’re genuinely curious and open to what they want in the relationship and having a conversation but whenever you ask for their input they stone wall you, say “I don’t know” over and over…. ? Or change the subject and don’t want to talk at all…. ? Help!!!
Loved listening to both of you - so much wisdom, so much thoughs to think about, so much inspiration! Thank you so much for this conversation! It is one to rewatch over and over! 🫶
Why can't we have people like Simon in power? If you are reading this Simon are you scared of it? Would it just be to much? Would you be willing if you got lots of help?
Society has been desensitized. We are just a series of stories. So many, it is difficult to hold a sense of compassion for anything before the next story.
Made me think about whats been on my mind lately, we are these stories, and the story is supposed to get better and better, we are ment to grow, to be better than our parents and do a even better job with our children. I don't understand why people seem to be degrading.
My guess is that AI will lead to less contact, because you do not have to rely so much on other humans anymore, for example to get certain things done.
Two weeks and Simon's thoughts on AI are already outdated. It seems GAI is indeed capable of original thoughts and it's improving on an exponential curve.
Kids today are much smarter than the WWII generation, but they don't know their self worth, which is paralyzing. The WWII generation knew their self worth and seemed to find true happiness in it.
