Back then, I only watched soccer because JJ was playing and he was going to entertain the viewers with his skills. Never a dull moment while he was in the field. I don’t know if there will ever be another JJ OKOCHA. Pele and others were there before him. They were good in their respective positions, but JJ was more than a player, he was also an EXCELLENT ENTERTAINER WHEN IT COMES TO DRIBBLING. Someone, please challenge me on this.
He does have goals but no ballon dor which is not a surprise. He wasn't the most prolific goal scorer but he was as I argue, limited by the position he played and the quality of players he played with later in his career. I watched him play and he created a lot of chances for his mates and did score some himself as a traditional midfielder. Just my observation.
