G'Day Mick!! Good part 2. Do I still see snow outside? All components look good. Lunch, Shame the pasta was overcooked at lunch, but looked delicious. Seemed to taste good as well. Dinner, Our Mexican meals, are not that Mexican, LOL. Yours hopefully has better flavor. it seems they cheated you slightly on the amount of chicken. Plenty of sauce to mix with rice however. Sounds good friend. Again, not that Mexican it would seem, like ours. If edible, we shall get by, LOL. I am glad you had fun and enjoyed. I hope you and yours are well Brother. Stay safe. Peace, John.

Hi John...Thanks for watching and commenting... lol...No, Not snow, just my camera over compensating with lighting up the background...lol...Another good tasting, Polish ration. Not as many calories as their military 24h packs, and being a bit on the larger side, would leave me wanting a little more for 24 hours!... but for a younger, fitter (and less fat...lol) police officers, I'm sure there is plenty to keep them going....Stay safe and well my friend!...ATB...Mick

Oh, I like rye bread. Healthy and high in fiber to bind sugars in the body's bloodstream and release them slowly for use. In my similar package, that honey was also crystallized, but 10 seconds in the microwave made it runny again.

Hi...Thanks for watching and commenting.....Not a thing in the UK, but I'm slowly becoming accustomed to rye bread the more I find in rations. Yes, I supposed I should have dropped the honey in the boiling water with the mains...but I forgot, Getting old is a bind sometimes...lol...ATB...Mick

That dinner meal looked like it would be filling and tasty. Not so sure about Mexican flavor and pumpernickel bread would go together though. Maybe a corn bread would be better. I liked that it came in it's own tray . Catch you next week.

Hi...Thanks for watching and commenting....The lasagne was the better meal, but both were perfectly acceptable and with good flavours. Agreed about the bread option! Corn or white snack bread would have been better, but perhaps they are just not a thing in Poland? like Rye and pumpernickel are not in the UK?...Its what you are brought up with I suppose....ATB....Mick

Mr Green I have to say that opening these rations only to try them, and not consume them seems like a waste of food. Seeing that Poland Latvia Lithuania Belarus. Are all near conflict zones. I'd like to see the rations consumed. Other channels eat their entire rations within a 24 hour period. It just seems wasted.

Hi..Thanks for watching and commenting...I have said before (And comment on camera) these rations form my meals for that part of the day. I always eat the entire meal off camera. I also hate waste and the rations cost alot of money i cannot afford to waste and throw in the bin. When I do 24 hour rations part 1 is filmed in 1 day (the opening, contents and the first meal) But part 2 (the lunch and dinner) is filmed over 2 days (and edited together) so that I can eat and enjoy both meals fully. Like yourself, I watch other, larger channels rip the tops off all 3 meals ( together on the table) at the same time, have 1 taste of everything, then finish filming and l know the reviewer then bins the lot off camera!... not me!..thats why my 24 hour reviews are in 2 parts and filmed over 3 days...ATB...Mick

    Brilliant. Thank you.
Here’s a question for you: do you ever have a ration and think, “That was so good I have to get another,” or do you always get different ones?

Hi...Thanks for watching and commenting... I always find different rations (or menus) for review, and never review the same one twice.
I do also buy rations for my own personal use while out camping, hiking or just day tripping somewhere. I have reviewed nearly all of the US, Lithuanian, Polish & British menus but have a case of them all for using on my trips. I also buy single rations again (for personal use) if I review a particularly good ration or menu.
My wife also enjoys sitting on a hillside or sand dune with a ration pack each, making the drinks and meals with a stove as part of our adventures....Although I must admit she moans more than me if she finds one she don't like (and that's all she has brought on her day trip) ...lol....But I never tell her "I didn't like that one when I reviewed it" as she picks them out of the box and puts them in her pack....lol.😂....I just enjoy finding out if she does (or not!) out in the wilds...lol 😅😂....It adds to the fun of being out in the middle of nowhere while I enjoy my tried and tested menu!....Lol...ATB...Mick

@@patmiller7045 Hi..Thanks for watching and commenting...I like to place the main meals into a white bowl for demonstration for the viewers. You can see the contents much more clearly and get a better idea of the texture and consistency of the food. Obviously out in the field it is eaten straight from there foil tray....ATB....Mick

@@MichaelGreenReviews NIce. My kids' picnics usually meant a ration pack and a stove. No tartan rug and wicker basket for us.
