i understand your views with vr 1, i personally like it just because of how homemade it feels. kind of in the same way people like the first texas chainsaw massacre so much
I first played Help Wanted 1 in VR, and it was one of the most terrifying games I had ever played, at first. I was only 14 at the time, and the absolute size of the animatronics blew me away. But once i got used to the gameplay, and especially now, its charm had worn off, but i still appreciate the memories it gave me at the time.
It does feel like HW 2 took more advantage of it being a VR game compared to HW 1, and honestly the fnaf 4 minigames felt so much less scary compared to actual fnaf 4, the original ambience tracks in fnaf 4 made it so unnerving to play
Playing Help Wanted in the VR mode is the most scared I've ever been playing a horror game. Playing it in flat mode is the least scared I've ever been playing a horror game.
Not to mention it's going to have a fanmade mod FNAF Help Wanted Plus which will improve on the most issues there adding new elements to track off thus making 2 things at the time being not a bonus but DO OR DIE and adding challenge back
I am actually replaying the og games to attempt beat some of the max modes in them for the first time, so this is the perfect time for you to release this.
Knowing how much you love this series, how much you ranked this series in the past and how close we are to your semi-retirement made this video really heartwarming for me. This really does feel like the victory lap for your channel. Even though I really couldn't care less about this series anymore, I really liked watching this video because I could tell how much this means to you.

Tbh I think security breach might be my favorite, and I think it’s the most realistic representation of what fnaf is: an absolute nonsensical clusterfuck. It’s the game that represents that the most and makes its the easiest to laugh at and embrace that with. It’s like a really good satire
I can understand the hatred towards Security Breach, as someone who likes it; I can admit there are many flaws. I cannot understand, however, how Ultimate Custom Night is so well liked. I genuinely hate that game with a burning passion.
25:40 I know about Henry ripping his face off with a paper cutter but the way you speak here implies there's crazier stuff going on that I don't know about. Could anyone explain please?
Security Breach is a game I cannot bring myself to hate don’t get me wrong I’m 100% self aware of how bad it is and during the release I absolutely adored it and I couldn’t believe that people were hating on it but now I look back on it and yeah….it’s a extremely flawed game with a massive amount of issues and flaws that can make it a terrible experience for someone but again it’s so important and special to me that I just can’t bring myself to dislike it like other people who do absolutely despise it
Same I experienced some bugs while playing but the sheer absurdity of some of them like Freddy teleporting everywhere when he walks into a door wrong were so funny that me and my brother couldn't stop laughing and it created great memories. I think it helps that dispite being a fan for so long it was the first game I could play on launch since I didn't have a PC
Eh not exactly my cup of tea with the amount of bugs, how much more kid friendly it was compared to the other games, and the entire miscommunication thing Scott apparently had with SteelWool. Ruin definitely made it better but I’m still salty the mimic actually exists in game universe but hey that’s my opinion on SB
I love Security Breach only bc i got to play it by tossing a controller to take turns between me and two friends, then watched one of them Freddy-Copter(tm) into the void. A magical experience
Im with you with the fact that a lot of people hate sister location for silly thanks, for example comolaining about replayability acoiding the fact that it is almost a different genre (but also having the most replayable custom nigth) but it is also one of the major foundations of the lore of the franchise and a lot of the things we know now (and the set of most important characters) come from this game but still people hate it bc is not sitting in a ofice for 5 nigths (also is the first fnaf game and only where you stay 5 nigths so is another up for me)
I’ll just say this about your opinion on HW1 in the same way I do when I come across a paper mario or monkey ball fan, I INCREDIBLY disagree. I while I understand your gripes, I just don’t agree with most of those points. The game balance with 2 hands I do kinda agree, but the game is so frantic and panic inducing that it comes back around to having difficulty, you were scared playing the game, right? Oh wait, you were playing the dogshit flat mode and NOT in Vr. I understand the cost of a headset is pretty high and mark zucc can zucc a rock up his ass, but you NEED to play it in VR as that is the platform that both help wanted games were built for. Take them out of thier context, and they become really clunky to play and not scary. It’s like playing a 3DS game on PC vs on real hardware. Sure the PC is more convenient and it’s important for preservation, but it’s better to play it in the context of a handheld game rather than a PC game, design decisions make more sence, gameplay fits in more naturally, and the visuals will look better on the actual screen rather than blown up. Playing HW1 on flat mode makes the game no longer scary. Nothing is in your face, you don’t feel immersed into the world, jumpscares don’t have thier impact, and the gameplay is worse. You would’ve enjoyed HW2 even more if you played it in VR, all the design choices that were built for vr would’ve worked even more. I’m probably not gonna change your mind on HW1 (we never liked it because it had a lot of content, we liked it because it was scary vr recreations of fnaf games and a few original ones sprinkled in there) but at least give it a try in vr. Also the switch port of HW2 is really good, one of the best VR to flat mode translations out there, and while I prefer playing it in vr, it does a lot of stuff like Gyro, quick snapping, and touch controls to make it almost as good as vr.
I also would wait for Help Wanted Plus fanmade modification which will make 2 hands needed to survive without making the game easy instead. Plus improved graphics and games made with both modes in mind so I'll enjoy it anyways even without VR (it's too damn costy)
28:30 but my game chess with springtrap😢 aw maan. (Especially nightmare agressive, he learns everysingle move of yours in a chess game). but thats ok, it's your tier list afterall
When you're up to making more FNaF content I'd like a video or stream of you reacting to Enchanted Mob's disconnected series if you haven't seen it yet. I think it's pretty cool and I'm interested to see what you'd think of it.
ngl isaac was the mofo that made me interested in the FNaF franchise, am back for here for some memories, loved the first ranking im confident ill love this one, cheers to you isaac aka the baddest
Some games are high on the list, and other ones on the bottom. Every FNaF game in the series has their ups and downs, and it can be up to personal preference from the player for what they enjoy the most.
Security Breach may be a very flawed game, But it has so many redeeming qualities about it to where I just can't completely hate it like some others, I love it's characters so much, I adore the Glamrocks and the Daycare Attendant. I love the Pizzaplex, It's easily the best location in the franchise, I love the music too, Yes there are it's obvious flaws but I don't think it's the absolute worst FNAF game.
Totally agree with the VR games. Although the first is my least favorite FNAF game whilst the second is my favorite. Upon finishing VR2 I went back to the first one and realized just how boring the gameplay actually is. While VR2 actually wants you to engage, 90-95% of VR1 was just standing still and waiting for something to happen, and even when something does happen, it's so non-threatening and unsatisfying.
The only one I disagree with is FNAF Help Wanted 2. The story is nonexistent. Things literally just happen because they show up in front of you. There's no rhyme or reason for what you're doing beyond the opening setup. Sure, the game looks great, and most of the minigames are fun. But not only are there plenty of minigames that are frustrating and badly designed, but it's also not scary at all. That's generally a problem with modern FNAF as a whole so much so that even the movie suffered from it, but I come to a horror series to be scared. And this game doesn't scare me. I respect your opinion, but I don't agree with it.
Yeah, my main issue is how the game handles horror. I am sure it's fun (haven't played It or one cause they are vr games) but is It bad that I want my horror games to be more than minigames that jumpscare you if you lose or minigames which just throw in the plushbabies as a threat and call It a day?
Putting SB on the last place solely because you didn't like it, forgetting that it gave a "second birth" to the franchise, (despite it's flaws and being a mess), must be the worst case of bias that i ever saw.
