Didn't know about this,Taker tapping out to scorpion death lock.Shame we never got That Wrestmania Moment. HHH and McMahon screwed him over when he did appear, still one of my favourite wrestlers, along with Taker, and Stone Cold. Not forgetting Bret either.
Lol that was neither of their prime😂😂😂 takers prime came in the attitude era and stings prime was 95- well when he retired.. these two could still put on an old school match that would tear the building down.. shit, doesn’t even need to be a match it could be a stare down!
No, Mrsushi1011 is right, they were both in their prime when that match took place. They both remained in their prime until the early 00's, although it really depends on when you consider someone's "prime" to end. I'd say it ends (roughly) when you hit 40, as that is when people tend to start slowing down a little. Sting turned 40 in 2000, and Undertaker in 2005.
@Michigan fan well Sting has enter AEW & now matter of time Taker finish his break. you know theses guys want to enter the ring again even when they say no.
The picture of Steve and Mark years after this was super nice to see. They're truly two of the best wrestlers, in and out of the ring, I think. Not a single person can say something bad about either of them.
It was all part of a long-term plan by Heyman... Build up this Mark Calloway guy so that Vince would hire him and make him into the Undertaker... Heyman conspires behind the scenes for the next 25 years to make sure the Undertaker never loses at Wrestlemania... And then WHAM. BRRRRRROCCCCKKK LLLESSSSNNARRRRRR!!!
Not exactly fair, Mark was a Commander Azeez type in WCW. In WWF/WWE, he was the legend, the Undertaker. Even at this time in WCW, Sting was a massive star.
Yeah, but this was Mark before he signed with WWF and died, then came back to life via resurrection to become the dead man walking. Armored with tons and tons of fictional supernatural powers. Then later on this surfer Sting guy in the colorful colors got dark too and started carrying around a baseball bat and reciting riddles. It's a shame that those two characters never collided.
This would probably be the perfect fitting retirement match for The Underater. Undertaker vs Sting. Face someone who you faced at the beginning of your career.
This was about 10 or so years after he lit his home on fire and badly burned his brother while taking out his parents. He really kept that close to the chest all those years.
Still wish it'd happen now days.. they could play mind games with each other 1 week lights out thunder bolt taker appears behind sting next week crow noise lights out sting appears behind taker god almighty the story you could create would almost be better than the match someone could play mind games with taker for once.
Paul E. Dangerously was Mean Mark's manager. Such a great time. Anyone remember The Dangerous Alliance? Some pretty good wrestlers in that group. Thanks for the video.
Best ending for a wwe match between these 2 would be a time limit end to a match neither beating the other jus proving they were the best 2 ever and hugging it out mutual respect.
Technically this is "Surfer" Sting vs. Mean Mark Callous with Paul E. Dangerously. Not sure if "Crow", "Insane Icon" or "Vigilante" Sting will face "Phenom", "Lord of Darkness", or "Last Outlaw" Undertaker...
Perhaps The two most respected Wrestlers from either company. WWE Undertaker WCW Sting. Both had like Deadman gimmicks. The Crow was a Deadman. Stings died as a surfer because he felt betrayed, & let down from his friends and allies. Came back a new person. Sting from the Rafters, Taker from the graveyard!!!
Bad decision on his part. His run in 2011 would've been much better than the one we got. Instead he went back to TNA copying the same promo WWE did for Taker. Had horrible feuds and storylines with WWE/WCW guys (again), finally turning into the Joker.
I want to believe that somewhere on this earth still exists a copy of this match in its entirety. Not still photos, not tiny clips. Bell to bell, with original audio. I don't know if it still exists. But i want to believe.
I’m sure a lot of dream matches happened in WCW before they were considered dream matches. Especially with Undertaker, Austin and Kane. I know Kane vs Sting happened, but not sure about Austin vs Sting.

Sting before becoming the Crow and the Undertaker before becoming the Deadman.
And the American Badass
SigmaTV and Paul Heyman before his Client Brrrrock Lllllesnar
And both taker and sting before becoming old
Didn't know about this,Taker tapping out to scorpion death lock.Shame we never got That Wrestmania Moment. HHH and McMahon screwed him over when he did appear, still one of my favourite wrestlers, along with Taker, and Stone Cold. Not forgetting Bret either.
Before the Undertaker, he was Mean Mark Callous.
The Dream Match we never saw.... Actually Happened.
I remember the matches. Back when Taker went by Mean Mark in the early 90s
Yes sting won!
yea, even cm punk vs aj styles did happen, look it up
That could be happen again, but in a cinematic match. Would be 100% awesome...
Except they were not mega stars till taker got to wwf snd sting till nwa came in
It actually did happen. And both men were in there prime
Lol that was neither of their prime😂😂😂 takers prime came in the attitude era and stings prime was 95- well when he retired.. these two could still put on an old school match that would tear the building down.. shit, doesn’t even need to be a match it could be a stare down!

Is this video real anyone?
The closest anyone is ever gonna get of Steve and Mark in a ring together in their primes.
2020 it will happen
@@memphismemphis3542 no please leave them alone. It will be the worst match ever. Let them enjoy retirement.
@@zeeraknazir400 they can do cinematografic style, as the fight between Aj Styles and Undertaker
That still can happen, but in a cinematic match...
@Michigan fan well Sting has enter AEW & now matter of time Taker finish his break. you know theses guys want to enter the ring again even when they say no.
the first time undertaking losing by tapping
The picture of Steve and Mark years after this was super nice to see. They're truly two of the best wrestlers, in and out of the ring, I think. Not a single person can say something bad about either of them.
Their ex wives can
Undertaker was huge back then, way bigger than he was in the late 90s.
It would have being fitting for sting to be the one to break the syreak
I guess we don't have to worry about a dream match happening anymore
Sting & Undertaker would make their dream match become legendary at WrestleMania. Huge respect for these 2 legends
In another timeline, this was The Undertaker vs "Surfing" Steve Bordous in a Sunday Night Heat match
Wow, Paul Heyman with a The Undertaker, then Brock Lesnar defeated Taker at WM with Heyman by LESNAR's side. Don't trust snakes lol
Lol alot of people were heyman guys that u wouldn't think were.
Finally I can rest in peace.
Who would have won between Undertaker and Sting?
Sting won.
Via tapout too!
Not exactly fair, Mark was a Commander Azeez type in WCW. In WWF/WWE, he was the legend, the Undertaker. Even at this time in WCW, Sting was a massive star.

I can live with that outcome. 😂
Gotta say Sting is one of my all-time favorite wrestlers of all time
Paul Hayman with The Undertaker 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I never thought that The Undertaker would tap out 😱.
Kurt Angle made him tap
If you think taker tap that's right but kurt back touch to mat so this is not counted
This would probably be the perfect fitting retirement match for The Underater. Undertaker vs Sting. Face someone who you faced at the beginning of your career.
Nah Kane vs Taker
Sting is older than taker
Don't know why but these short highlights makes you feel like the match was awesome
Holy shit I knew their match in WCW occurred, but I never knew it was actually captured on camera
Fr
Props to the Channel. This is pure gold.
Everyone always gave into Sting including Undertaker, he was a WCW product that was going to be pushed to the top.
The deadman vs the icon
"The Phenom vs The Icon" sounds better.
@@tjz9053 yes right. The Phenom vs The Icon, The Deadman vs The Crow
Sting vs taker
The dream match really happens
So it means my dream comes true after watching this video
This was about 10 or so years after he lit his home on fire and badly burned his brother while taking out his parents. He really kept that close to the chest all those years.
So literally Undertaker vs Sting match in WM 36 will be their second match, but wwe 'll say Never before and once in a life time.
These are two are my favorites. They deserve every bit of respect.
Wow i never thought sting was a bigger star back in the day than the undertaker
Undertaker vs. Sting, AND for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship?
How the fuck did I never know about this?
This is the purest of gold
Might not see a dream match between them but can see a dream picture of The Undertaker and Sting together at 1:17.
Still wish it'd happen now days.. they could play mind games with each other 1 week lights out thunder bolt taker appears behind sting next week crow noise lights out sting appears behind taker god almighty the story you could create would almost be better than the match someone could play mind games with taker for once.
Thank You So Much For This Video
i thought it never happened!!!! i am impressed
Paul E. Dangerously was Mean Mark's manager. Such a great time. Anyone remember The Dangerous Alliance? Some pretty good wrestlers in that group. Thanks for the video.
The dream match is happening in wcw
Im happy that i watched this
So we actually HAVE gotten sting vs undertaker and sting won....oh my life is complete!!!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯 (I'm here from a&e undertaker biography)
He was part of a tag team called The Skyscrapers.
The best wrestling clip of all Time 🗯️🦂☠️
Both are legends.
We want the crow vs the deadman I mean surfer and mean mark was cool to
So technically sting already wrestled mean mark aka the undertaker so that’s why we won’t see a match now
Strange how this 2 Legends dodge each other nearly their whole Career. And this would be a dream match
I feel completed now ! At least I know they fought each other in the beginning of their careers at their most humble stage
Sting was already a superstar at this point
This was for the NWA World Title! Both men were star performers
Best ending for a wwe match between these 2 would be a time limit end to a match neither beating the other jus proving they were the best 2 ever and hugging it out mutual respect.
Undertaker used to be my favorite Wrestler. But unfortunately its Sting now Sting is my favorite I'm happy he won.
real legends
Well I appreciate that Undertaker vs Sting already happen and Taker should retire for good #theLastRide
Omg thank you for letting us watch i liked and subbed after this
They might not be in their respective iconic gimmicks... but they are in their physical prime here, which is good enough for me.
It would have been better that sting take away the undefeated undertaker wrestlemania record.
@Bestow5000 that would still be shit. Punk should have taken it
Kane should've done it or bray
Ya It would been best
00:40 take that vince! Sting made the Undertaker tap out!
Well, minus the dark gimmicks, they were closer to their primes in this video than if they wrestled now.
Sting was in his prime duirng this match undertaker wasn't
undertaker was a paul heyman guy.
Sting 1-0 vs undertaker
Sting v mark
lol
looks like we don't need taker vs sting anymore
Ian Kane we still do, it just won't happen🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭😭😭😭
Rage Reynolds this match should have happened years ago
I love very hot sting and under taker and others old school
grave souls
They’re so fine ^^ back then and not so bad even today imo.
Perhaps The two most respected Wrestlers from either company. WWE Undertaker WCW Sting. Both had like Deadman gimmicks. The Crow was a Deadman. OMG!but this would be more cooler if this happened in wrestlemania
Legends
I wish this match booked in 1999 .
We needed attitude era Taker vs Sting followed by tag team Hell I'm a Cell Undertaker & Sting vs heel Kane & Mankind
No no no undertaker does not tap out 😅
Undertaker: And I Took That Personally 😂
two man real legendary
This actually did happen, I can die happier now :')
I didnt know this actually happened ever!!
That still can happen, but in a cinematic match...Would be awesome...
So many kids don't know about this.
sting wrestled almost everyone.well except for maybe yokozuna
@718 G Yoko a bum? Look in the mirror
Sting never fought Rock or Jericho
@@HhhHhhh-nu4lm he means greatest and he is wrestling from 1985
It's The Undertaker before dying
Taker was like a mid carder where as sting was a top guy so result of this match does not even matters
sting won the match before....hahaha
but we never saw that match in the WWE BEFORE!!!!!
Everyone jobbed to Sting back then in WCW. Taker vs Sting with equal star power, that’s the match we wanted.
I love crow, Wolfpack and joker sting but surfer sting is just a bad ass. The guy has charisma that rivals the rock and he was great with promos also.
This is REALLY well edited!
This is really
Match between them back in like 2001-2002 woulda been nice but I guess we will have to take this! 🔥🔥
🦂Sting
Sting s classic alwayz
Согласна с вами на все 💯))) смотрел и нравилось... И сейчас досих пор нравится! Стинг лучше всех. 💛💛💛🧡🧡🧡💚💚💚👍🏻🦂🔥💙💙💙💜💜💜💟💟💟
Sting should've came to WWE 2011.
He would have, he said he didn't like the way that they treated Booker t. And that was one of the main reasons why he didn't come over right away
rainier vega but back then Sting is smart by not going there
Dewaynesite1 Yeah, instead he got that match with Jeff Hardy lmao
Sting didn't want to come over to WWE because his eego was out of control. He knew he wouldn't be as big in WWE as he was in WCW.
Bad decision on his part. His run in 2011 would've been much better than the one we got. Instead he went back to TNA copying the same promo WWE did for Taker. Had horrible feuds and storylines with WWE/WCW guys (again), finally turning into the Joker.
Close enough. Thanks for this.
Imagine if they were tag team partners
Sting vs The Undertaker still needs to happen (Both retire together at Wrestlemania)
oCapri sting retired at his hall of fame ceremony
And the Undertaker retires in WWE last weekend. Well at least they did wrestled each other in WCW in the early 1990s. So that's that.
@@SSJ491 he's in the hall of fame
Sting is still active in aew
I want to believe that somewhere on this earth still exists a copy of this match in its entirety.

But i want to believe.
Based on all these comments, am I the only one who liked surfer Sting more?
А вот и нет... Не только вам одному))) мне тоже. 💛💛💛🧡🧡🧡👍🏻🦂🔥💚💚💚💙💙💙
This music reminds me of an anime game or an n64 wrestling game lmao
Dream Match: Sting vs The Undertaker
Amazing
Undertaker: that's right I'm a Pual heymen guy
Looks like Sting already broke Undertaker’s streak many years ago before Brock did in 2014
I’m sure a lot of dream matches happened in WCW before they were considered dream matches. Especially with Undertaker, Austin and Kane. I know Kane vs Sting happened, but not sure about Austin vs Sting.
Even Lex Luger defeated the Undertaker in WCW.
Sting and Austin happened in WCW alot
Sting vs Austin was like the bread and butter of WCW for a while
Sting and The Undertaker wrestled before in WCW, they just never faced each other in the WWE.
Thank god we can finally put this to bed. Sting was better
Stings charisma is one of a kind ...the Goat
nobody can't survive from stings death lock
I thought that the Scorpion death drop is a better finisher IMO.....I mean actually it's just a sharpshooter re-named
@@nicholascasatelli6949 scorpion death lock came first.
Undertaker paul heyman guy
Sting vs Mean Mark Calloway
Mark callous and The Icon!!!!!
