Lincoln Family Home - Step Back in Time At Hildene House in Manchester VT

Hildene, built in 1905 some forty years after the assassination of Robert Todd Lincoln's father, is a real treasure. Home to about 90% of the Lincoln's original furniture, the restoration done in this house is a testament to the dedication of the friends of Hildene.
Today I am privately touring along with my new pal Jesse and we're going to take you through most of the highlights of the house.. (Can you spot which rooms were NOT featured? Yet another reason for you to go visit for yourself!)
Not to be forgotten is the Sunbeam, the restored Pullman Car that is a perfect example of what Robert would have traveled on during his tenure as the Pullman Company's President.
With so much to see, do and explore at Hildene - from the plentiful walking trails, the Goat Dairy and Dene Farm - you will have a well rounded and amazing experience!
