    Got one of these for Christmas. Does anyone know how to change it from kilos to pounds? The booklet says it's in the settings in the app but still can't find it. Thanks all.

    Seems excellent, might consider this.
    Quick question that I wondered if you could answer for me please?
    Are you able to set the scales and or app, to show your weight in stones, rather than KG or lbs ?

    All of a sudden, after years, the app shoes an error message, starting the scale requires the Chinese version of the app.
    In parallel, it's working just fine with my partner's smartphone which is the exact same model.
    Yunmai doesn't respond, the Google play store is full of those complaints.
    Anyone knows what's up - or even how to fix this?

    FYI: I just purchased this from amazon lightning deal with price $33 and then I did some research found that it is a Chinese brand which is sold in china for usually only 79 rmb( $12.5)Good review though. Xiaomi smart scale is sold for rmb 199($32)But it is better for buying from amazon bc of the good customer service. However if u have a way to purchase directly from china would be a great deal too.

    • @TechyAgent
      @TechyAgent 7 лет назад +1

      +Patrick Olson it can be integrated with the Fitbit app which in turn can be integrated with MyFitnessPal...so yes, it can, but it takes the Fitbit app to act as a go-between. I don't believe it has a limit, nothing advertised anyhow

    Thanks @Techy Agent for your indepth review.
    Quick question. Is it necessary to install and run Yunmai app, if I am using fitbit app primarily. Or can I run fitbit app only, and still get the readings?
    I use Android and my wife uses an iPhone. Thanks in advance.

    • @TechyAgent
      @TechyAgent 7 лет назад

      +Babar MUGHAL you will still need the YUNMAI app, yes. Then the YUNMAI app will port over the readings to the Fitbit app if you have them connected.

    I really loved this scale for about 3 years then it just stopped working. I reached out to the yunmai tech support. I explained that I had the scale for a year or two and changed the battery. You know what they asked? Did you change the battery? So its still not working. Bottom line it worked great for about 3 years then it just stopped.

    Does the information from the scale's app, sync with Garmin Connect and MyFitnessPal also? Thanks for the helpful reviews

    • @TechyAgent
      @TechyAgent 7 лет назад

      +Brian Lancaster it does not directly sync with Garmin or my fitness pal. However, the Fitbit app does (I think) syncs with both of those. And since this scale does sync with Fitbit, you can use the Fitbit app as a go-between to port the data over.

    • @brianlancaster7024
      @brianlancaster7024 7 лет назад

      Techy Agent So in other words, you're basically saying I need to have the Fitbit app on my phone just to sync this scale with the Health & MFP app and NOT Garmin.

    • @TechyAgent
      @TechyAgent 7 лет назад

      +Brian Lancaster you will only need the Fitbit app to sync with Garmin and myfitnesspal. It will directly sync with Apple health and googles health apps.

    I have this scale. Best scale ever. Never mind! This guy is no where close to 10% body fat. He is not even remotely close to 13% body fat. I think you got a defective scale or you did something to throw off the reading. This guy isn’t fat, but 10% to 13% body fat is elite athlete, six-pack without flexing.

  • @Nefkal
    @Nefkal 4 года назад

    I'm just here to highlight a fact in the review that got my attention.... it measures 11% body fat, but you believe you are about 30%... that can hardly be called an acceptable difference, because it's actually the difference between being obese (30%) and almost being as ripped as a fitness model... that level of innacuracy may be unacceptable for a lot of people... Don't be caught in fake information, it could lead you to follow bad habits and even harm your health

    • @TechyAgent

      +stroshow5 True😉, but it also tells me I weigh more too. I'm not worried about the actual number, I care more about making sure the number is holding steady or going down. For that it's useful but for precision fat checking, other methods are definitely better.
