Hearing that Ray kills it is all I needed to hear, excited to see it tonight!
After watching Louis Rossmann for so long, I can absolutely believe its run by someone like Walter Peck.
As for movie, seeing lots of negative or neutral comments on a certain Bluray review site (especially hate toward the teens) which actually made me even more convinced I would enjoy it. Everything they hated is what I enjoyed about Afterlife. They seem to hate that its just not the original cast, that the tone has changed, which is ironic given how many years they completely failed to pull off a Ghostbusters 3 and the general consensus that Ghostbusters II was a weak sequel (I think its fine, but understand the complaints). Moving it forwards for a new generation makes a lot of sense.
I wont see it myself until the Bluray (assuming it does), hopefully it IS an extended cut.

I already said from the trailer months ago that there's too many characters. I understand why they're cramming them all in, since they're trying to get both youngsters excited with familiar faces from Stranger Things and such and us old fogies with nostalgia, but that doesn't change that there's too many characters. Should've rather made two movies, one for nostalgia buffs and another for new generation.
That said, I am still nevertheless excited to see it! It doesn't have to be the best thing since sliced bread for me to love it.
I quite enjoyed this movie. I am an OG duology fan. It was fun, the worldbuilding was great and the original cast was used well. It was a uneven and unfocused but generally good. 6.5/10 for me. Recommended.

Sadly he and Venkman don't battle again. I got the feeling that their scene together was cut short.

The new Ghost Busters movies are terrible! The original GB movies are scary movies with fun elements. The new ones are children movies with fun elements. It is a waste of what could potentially have been great and entertaining scary movies on pair with the originals.
It sucked. It wasn't good at all
It might be a little "cast congested." But, SO WHAT? To see the cast from GHOSTBUSTERS (1984) and AFTERLIFE (2021) together again, I'm willing to put my criticism on hold and just enjoy a great reunion.
