This is the most beautiful cinematography has ever made by Marvel.
That’s one of the reasons why I absolutely adored this movie. The scenes with Makkari were elegant and beautiful. The Eternals powers were gorgeous. They really felt like gods.

Eternals existed before the Avengers. They've been here since the very beginning. They teach humans how to progress, they teach humans how to build, they teach humans how to protect themselves, they teach human to be human, and most importantly they taught us how to love. This movie might not have the same action as the other marvel films but all I could say that this one really hits hard from a very wide array of perception. Imagine the pain they felt when Thanos almost wiped the whole humanity the Eternals loved the most. They were like parents who can only do is to watch their successful grownup sons and daughters suffer pain and lost as they grow. The messege of the film hides beyond the essence of love for humanity, in which we all knew why Marvel was made by Stan♥️

One of the most underrated movie. Eternals have meaningful storylines, better performances, wonderful audio-visual effects and much more. I love it too much.

Unpopular opinion, but since this movie came out, and until now, i think this is the most underrated one of the entire MCU. And it's funny that now this even means a lot, bit i would say easy top 20(including series and specials, the mcu has more than 40 projects now)

Remove the crap flashbacks and put it at the start of the movie then remove all the chatting sequences causing it to feel like there is zero stakes, you get what I like to call a good movie.

I think everyone should rewatch Avengers Infinity War and Endgame. Then come rewatch this trailer. For me, it makes Eternals so much more magical. I sincerely hope that there is a sequel to this movie. It was unique and new. It brought us to a new phase of the MCU. It wasn’t perfect. But it was a breath of fresh air after Endgame.
So a whole Thanos wiping out Half of Earths Population didn’t wake these guys up..?

Definitely not you! Personally did not dislike this movie but didn’t love it either. It’s the pacing of the film and some stuff was SO DETAILED and others not. But I like the concept a lot. Ironically I think this would make a better tv show and Falcon and Winter Soldier would have been a better movie.

@@oliviasecco5944 exactly. It’s a big cast of 10 people and they could’ve explained the backstory so much better as a series. It made the deaths feel a little meh sometimes just because I hadn’t empathised with the characters yet.
I wanted a series, each episode for each character. Then a movie will follow it up for the actual story but that's so much budget lol
Same here, it would be perfect in a series form, so anyone can have their own story instead of 10 stories in 2 hour 30 min
I can’t believe how many people DID NOT pay attention to what Ajax said about Thanos. Everyone here is like “where were they when ___ happened?” Ajax is the leader. By the time the first avenger came along, they had been living separate normal lives. They could not achieve anything on their own and they were told not to interfere in human progress and conflict. Ajax would not stop Thanos because having half of the popuLation disappear was preferable to watching Earth explode as a new celestial was born due to Earth’s population reaching the preferred number required to awaken the Celestial inside.
Wow this is a deep analysis. I however couldn’t get into the Externals. I stayed for my gal Angelina.
@@supernaturalvictorieswithsunny not that deep, they're just serious guardians of the Galaxy. Loved this movie when I went to theaters, needs more cosmic gods movies like this. All we got is a cameo in Thor 4 and one villain in guardians 3.

@@vision5092 Pretty sure Thanos was the son of Sui-San --- although Thanos was still moreorless related by blood to Thena the warrior since she's Zuras' daughter; that means the two characters would actually be first cousins.
Though all that being said, I won't be entirely surprised if they change the lore in the MCU / story around the Eternals.

This should have been Disney+ miniseries with longer length, simpler/deeper/stronger/less-convoluted/accessible/steadier story/lore, more fleshed-out/likable characters, etc.
Maybe they felt like it was too big a story to tell to put on Disney+. Like how they turned armor wars into a movie instead.

I think one of the reasons why most fans cannot see how beautiful Eternals is, it's because the beauty of the film isn't found on the scenes alone, but in words spoken by each character.
Say for example, Thena's line, "When you love something, you protect it."
To some who didn't see the emotional connection between each character, it's a random line.
But to people who saw the reason behind it would see that line as heartwarming and heart wrenching at the same time. That it's a line said by someone who swore to protect and love you in a time where you constantly forget who you are, where you can potentially hurt them as well because of your illness. Yet he said he will take the risk.
Again, the same someone who also said that he'd do it again, to care for you no matter how long it takes, on any planet. And he stood by it till the very end, even at the cost of his life. Yes, I am referring to Gilgamesh and his unconditional and timeless love for Thena.
And that struck me in my heart, actually teared up when she said the words.
See, most people cannot see that. Most of them only anticipate action packed, flashy scenes, then rate how good the movie is based on that.
And Eternals isn't one of those films, so they think it's the worst.
But to those who see the film like how I saw it, it was a complete masterpiece, a cultural reset, just like WandaVision.

Nope. Director is too focused on being woke and forgot what marvel movies are about. The casting is horrible, and feels like someone wanted every race even disabled people represented in this movie. Its a poor attempt to make everyone like the movie

Let me tell you I watched eternals like 8 times in the cinema and to date it's my favorite MCU movie. The ending was beautiful and I think that this movie is so underrated. I guess that's cause spiderman or iron man ain't in it. I want Eternals 2 and Joey Chao to do it. Nuff said
It’s my favourite movie in Phase 4, top 10 in the whole MCU (and bordering top 5), and without a doubt this is my favourite movie trailer ever. The hate on the movie is wild. I genuinely love it so much.

Just another regular movie goer's opinion (NOT A CRITIC): Eternals is a deeply moving, smart, and beautiful piece of film. It requires more than one viewing to take it all in. The acting is not overdone and the imageries are memorable which is the purpose of filmmaking. Contrary to expectations, it subverts stereotypes and deals with human themes. It deserves to be praised for what it is not trying to do.

I mean did they even know Thanos was gonna do what he did? It's not like the events of Infinity War were public knowledge before the snap, and Wakanda wasn't gonna announce to the world there was a giant alien battle going on there. Endgame's events weren't publicly known either until the end.

Honestly, I was underestimate this movie turns out REALLY GOOD!! I enjoyed the movie a lot tho I experienced it through my phone after they released it on disney+ but still I loved it!

@@bemotivated8443 Honestly never heard of the Eternals so this is a good fresh IP I can get to know like GotG. I know the XMen and most of their movies never did well so I won't be looking too positively to that one, plus Hugh Jackman may not be Wolverine and Halle Berry may not be Storm, etc.
They may come up with XMen soon just not now.

probably an explanation for that, because thanos is very directly connected to the eternals.
In the comics after a while they wipe their memories so they can live as regular mortals. Maybe they just started remembering everything after the snap because of the cosmic energy.

Don't trust IMDb rating. ETERNALS is a great movie... Honestly all the characters ,reveals/secrets and everything literally can gave anyone goosebumps 🌼.
This is probably one of the few Marvel movies that *should* have been a TV series, it would've been PERFECT in that format
Maybe they can still make a show to address shortcomings?
