I'm leaning towards the G6 this year. I think the S8 looks better and has a little better hardware, but the pricing and touchwhiz (eventually lags) kills it for me. The G6 with its dual lens camera, optimized 821 processor, better fingerprint scanner placement, $650 ish price tag, and solid build quality makes it the choice for me.
Jimmy C the touchwiz is gone! there is the graceux now which is closer to pure android (still far from it but closer....) and my s7 doesnt lag at all after 9months of use :D
I dont know in what universe a last gen cpu is an advantage but i guess you have some weird logic behind that. Also, the cheaper price? Well, if you compare the 32GB G6 model and not the 64GB model to the S8 which has 64GB. Dual camera means nothing unless the pictures are higher quality, which we don't know since there hasn't been any real comparison yet. Build quality, i don't see where any phone has better build quality over the other, they're both glass and metal. Design however, is subjective - that i can understand why you would prefer one over the other.
My apologies. It wasn't my intention to leave the impression the 821 is a better processor than the 835. I really meant that for the price I'm okay with last year's processor, since LG has had taken the time to understand it and has optimized it for use with the phone's software. I appreciate the benefits it will offer to the user experience and feel that, although an older processor, it will be just fine for my uses. M Eberg
I already ordered my G6. U.S. cellular had a deal to get the phone half price if you pre-ordered it. That was a no-brainer to me. I was already leaning towards the G6 anyway.
Me too, I love my Note 5 but not trying to wait until the next note to come out. I had already pre ordered the G6 as well it would've came with a 49" tv and google home but cancelled because the S8 is too beautiful!
Same. I think if the G6 had an AMOLED display I might be swayed more in that direction. Are you guys sticking with the regular S8 or going with the S8+?
J C what's the video quality like displayed on a TV not phone? I have just seen a few 1080p video clips & it looks more like 720p quality I prefer the look of the G6. What's the low light video & camera quality like aswell. Cheers
everyone mentioning lg's bootloop problem, which I've never experienced..from g4, g5, v10, v20 and now g6, not one problem....plus with LG, I've got tons of free goodies!...this is coming from a consumer that's uses all brands and platforms!
please tell them again, not because u arent experiencing doesnt mean others arent, it just isnt worth the risk, i would prefer my phone to run slow after while(every phone does) than become a fvcking paper weight. My friend has LG V10 and he feared that it would happen to him and guess what it did couple days ago
If I had to chose, It would be the LG G6 for several reasons, and I am not the one following a crowd, in fact I usually have a mid range phone with flagship performance like my Moto-X and now my Honor-8, I did have several LG handsets previously and never experienced any issues, so I do trust the LG brand, not to mention the price will plummet quicker on the LG so folks like me with less $$ can put their hands on one sooner than later. The price of an S8 is Canada is to be around a 1000- bucks.
Actually no, LG G^ is 3300mAh S8 is 3000 and S8+ is 3500mAh....none are 'way larger' than the other... Also, there is no real comparisons out there for camera/battery endurance test etc....

LG stepped up their game with the G6, but Samsung just repacked the S7 Edge/Note 8 with a better face and a higher price... and a ridiculous fingerprint placement.
I have an LG G5 on AT&T. No lag. Best phone I ever owned. I have a case that has a detachable bottom (I don't have to take my case off to swap my battery out) and it is the only phone that can do that. Plus IR blaster, FM radio, usb C, better fingerprint scanner, interchangeable nav buttons, better loudspeaker, Quickcharge 3.0, tap to wake, wide angle camera, Google Assistant, expandable storage up to 2 Terabytes, etc. And then you have the s7 that is waterproof....that's about it. The G6 is all that plus waterproof, wireless charging, better cameras, and more....so? What else do you want? Lol. My brother has the V20. That's nice as well.
LG and Samsung are Korean cousins - I too think the G5 is the most underrated phone ever! For your money now, you can't beat the LG G5. But both are great phones.
well as he said everyone knew what to expect, how did the g6 wow u? finally adding waterproof after how mant generations? using 821 altho not a bad chipset but what is last year should stay last year
g6 wowed everyone. and credit goes to shitty g5. when you upgrade from shitty g5 to g6, the g6 feels impressive. s7 on the other hand was already an impressive phone. so it's understandable if s8 didn't wow you.

IP68 will make the S8s' loud speakers wack again, on certain limits at least, unfortunately. Anyway, on the audio department, LG has been overkilling Samy since at least the V10. But now that the G6 is IP68 too & Samsung considering (finally?) the audio concern, this could effectively change :)
I just tried out an S8 in Bestbuy today. Wow, I'm impressed. That tall, narrow screen makes it easy to hold in one hand. TouchWiz finally feels like a finished OS. I left not loathing it for the first time ever. The pre loaded MS Word and Excel apps feel like they were made for that phone. There's something about that 5.8 screen and keyboard placement... The black variant does an amazing job hiding the phone bulk, of which it has far less of compared to similar sized phones.
I like The Galaxy S8 better Then LG G6 because the S8 has better feel in hand then G6 and S8 has eye res scanner for extra protection so no one can steal your information from your account then G6
Samsung and LG both have their strengths and I love that you compared 2 of the most powerful and recent smartphones. I used to not be very interested in high tech smartphones, but I've learned to embrace it. I also watch a couple tech channels, but your channel by far is the best. Great attention to detail and great video quality! You guys are awesome!
G6. Better Android skin, design tho not as asthetically pleasing, still great and more functional to hold without the curves. Dual camera/full manual controls is untouchable. All for $100+ cheaper too.
Both phones are gorgeous. Before your full photo-video review i choose the G6. I prefer the chunkier no so much rounded design. And i also prefer the lower price. Great video. Note. The fingerprint scanner in the s8 beside the camera? Cmon guys!!
coming from the G Flex 2 I have now, I'm leaning more towards the G6. however, the S8, as with every Galaxy S series phone, has some really interesting features.
I would pick the LG G6 for one reason, the screen is too much to the edges that you can't avoid touching it by mistake and since i have owned the s7 edge, it is not that much difference.
It's definitely a hard call, between the S8/+ and the G6. There are few things that I am either concerned or do not like about the new S8/+: 1. Small battery capacity: what a poor use of space! The 2 new flagships have bigger screens with bigger chassis, yet have smaller battery size compared to the S7E, what the hell? 2. Placement of the fingerprint scanner: what a weird placement, an unnecessary sacrifice of utility for aesthetics! 3. Internal audio hardware: yes we see the AKG headphone, but what about DAC and amp, shouldn't Samsung have bragged about a powerful DAC and amp on the S8/+ if they do have one? Have to wait for Juan's real audio review on this.
Carlos Jimenez it rocks a more eficient processor so the batery will be about the same. I can't understand why are peope disliking this beauty. it's better than the g6 hands down. it's not even comparable. it would make more sense to compare the s7 to the g6 because of the the processor alone. and these are facts, dont get why people are hating on samsung lol
The LG G2 was compared to Galaxy S4? (I believe if my memory is right) when the G2 had been released for over a year. These companies do this constantly, but to say that the S8 wins hands down is completely false. The enhanced camera gives most users what they need at a faster rate for the S8, and the dual cameras gives people more features for better shots and more creativity. The price difference makes up for the processor. The processor isn't out of date, so it makes no sense to act like it's a deal breaker. The bigger battery of the G6 voids out the power saving of the new processor for the S8 because figuratively speaking, the battery difference should give both phones about the same amount of life. All in all, these 2 phones are going to come down to 2 things for most people: Personal preference in how it feels for you... And who actually puts forth more software updates to enhance it's product. To say that one wins hands down over the other, makes you look like a fucking idiot in my opinion.
If you want to talk price, you have the xiaomi mi 5s for 250 bucks on several sites by now (or OP3 for 400) so don't talk about price difference. People who spend this kind of money want the absolute best and the g6 is simply not that. It is true they have some differences in term of features but I would say the s8 covers people's needs very well. For example, I wouldn't see myself using the 2nd camera on the g6 while retina unlock is very usefull. I'm sure some people will prefer the g6 but the majoraty will go for the s8.
You went from a high end, newer phone comparison to a budget phone. In what world do you live in that people don't compare prices regardless of brand or product? Just because you're talking the "best" potential 2 new phones doesn't mean that price isn't going to become a factor when comparing or considering the two. Personally, I have kids and the second camera would come in handy for outdoor shots. Again, that particular part all comes down to personal preference. I personally think brand loyalty is going to be one of the biggest selling factors here if you want me to be completely honest. But in the end, my conclusion is the same: To say that one wins hands down over the other is just straight wrong.
The s8 has the better hardware, there's no way around it. Some people may prefer the g6 but it is not just to save a couple dollards. I believe if you are going to spend that kind of money you're better off with the s8. If I really wanted to save money I would aim for the mi5s or OP3.
watching it on my LG G2, I'm still keeping it...not upgrading, yet. I think the G2 is one of the greatest G series of all time. It was a great flagship back in the day and I still use it and still works great even if I'm stuck at Android 4.2.2 everything stock.
I hope that app developers are on board with these new screen resolutions. Android is already leagues behind the standardisation of iOS apps and now we have 2:1 aspect ratios that only these 2 new phones currently have. I'm sure plenty will update their apps just because it's Samsung and they're basically the Apple of Android but I can see a lot of apps being left behind.
It honestly boggles my mind that ever since the LG G6 launched, people were saying the S8 would be better. NOW that the S8 is here, everyone is complaining that Samsung didn't do enough or that the G6 is better. It's annoying really how people will find a million and one reasons to complain about an amazing phone (and this is coming from someone who just pre ordered the LG G6)
I bought LG G3 a few months after it got released. Its 2017 now and my mom is using it. It still works fine. She has no complaints with it. I'll probably gift her G6 this year.
Anyone remember a few years ago when everyone was making jokes about how iPhones got taller every year It's kinda ironic how Samsung and LG are doing that instead
Back when s3 release Apple fans made it a joke simply because iPhone 4 is smaller www.google.co.uk/search?q=all+galaxy+phones&prmd=sivn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj-75ysmv3SAhVJCMAKHbJfAT0Q_AUICCgC&biw=360&bih=560#tbm=isch&q=galaxy+s1+to+s7&*&imgrc=mGGvGAIK7-7bnM:
For me, the audio quality coming from the headphone jack and software updates/optimization will be the deciding factor. Especially with LG having the quad dac in my region, it has the potential, at least in the spec sheet and they prepared the apps for the screen ratio with more thinking. In the design department, both phones look great, although S8's screen seems to be much more reflective. But the continuous design and that screen-chassis blend is gorgeous. Yet again LG seems to be a more practical phone to use in everyday life.
I just got my G6! It's awesome! I think it'll be the best phone of the year. One highlight is the wide angle lens. It has a really cool GoPro-esque fisheye effect which makes taking photos extra fun.
I've got the LG G6 right now. I have a desk job so I don't use a case. The G6 feels solid in the hand and can be confidently used case-free. I don't even want to look at the S8 without a case on it.
opaliittiopa I know that, but it does give it an advantage, and since it uses an older processor, then it might have a chance for better battery life hopefully
opaliittiopa Just look at Sony, great battery life with just a small battery though or Apple Iphone - the thing you have to compare to orther android smartphones.
What bootloop? It was a problem 2 years ago with G4 and V10....and only with the first generation of them....Both my parents use G4 (dad is quite a power user) and they never had any problem. I had G4, G5 and now i'm using a V20 until my G6 arrive...never had a problem with my phones. You are talking about overheating....I use my V20 intensive (I'm a UI/UX designer and I stream my work directly on the phone too see how it behave) and it's not overheating. Don't get me wrong, Samsung have awesome phones....but please stop being a mindless fanboy.
I see this little war taking place for the year... Since I don't see a lot of real big changes with the S8, except for the QC SnD 835, soft navi keys (YAY! Reversible!) , Bixby (Google Assistant redundancy), and one nasty change with that "smudge the camera lens" rear-mount fingerprint scanner, I think the now evenly matched LG G6 is going to steal some (though not all) of Sammy's fire in 2017...
I need lg camera but Samsung amoled display but I also want flat screen like on lg g6 but I also want Samsung's exynos processor but with lg g6 fingerprint placement... Can I get all this on one phone..??
Is it true that the bootloooping issues have stopped with the newer LG models? My G3 died from that (owning it for 2 and a half years) and now I'm somewhat indecisive about upgrading to the G6 as opposed to the S8. I always preferred LG's UI and the like over Samsung's but I still hold some suspicion.
I'm guessing the G6 is cheaper in price. Everybody is saying G6 hands down which doesn't make much sense because these phones are extremely comparable. However the S8 has a much better display and design. Don't get me wrong. The G6 looks good especially compared to last year's train wreck. But by no means does it blow the S8 out of the water. The only reason people could possibly be saying that is due to price. The G6 has to be cheaper (I'll look it up later) and people just want to convince themselves that the phone that'll save them some money is the better device regardless of whether it's actually true or not.
Holding out for the Note 8. Love the looks of the s8 plus, it would definitely be my pick between the two. G6 screen looks drab as hell next to AMOLED screen on Samsung products. FP sensor location is dumb on the s8 but I rarely use it anyway. My S7 is about to hit one year as a daily driver and still does the job well. I'm quite surprised at the high number of LG fans seeing how washed out the screen looks next to a s8, or even a aging s7 for that matter.
The G6 Camera set up is probably the reason I'll buy that over a galaxy. This is probably the closest LG has been in years to the galaxies with their main flagship. But having the dual camera setup on my V20 has spoiled me, I don't think I could go back to a single camera setup.
lg g6 will be cheaper, and sd 821 will make almost no difference plus the battery life on g6 is a lot better than samsung s8 as compared to screen ratio...even the fingerprint sensor is place at awkard position on s8..!! so i think the g6 will b a better choice even we get the wide angle camera and personally the g6 looks more elegant than s8..!!
pedro ribe It's a problem with TouchWiz. Some users's phones slow down and lag after only a few months, while others don't have any noticeable slowdowns. As far as I can tell, it's a hit or miss situation.
I have a 7 edge and it lags a good amount and I bought it in August, I'm just gonna wait till the iPhone 8 because idk if I want another laggy (but beautiful) phone
you are using the lg g6 . what do you think about the camera .compare to the galaxy 8 ? I'm thinking about getting the lg g6 . free 49"tv .free Google home on sprint ..
the edges on the Galaxy are a gimmick the fingerprint sensor is awkwardly placed it'll show down a lot in a couple of months and that Samsung skin is horrendous and the battery is tiny only complaint about the g6 is I wish it had AMOLED instead of lcd
yogosans14 they don't burn in anymore lol but AMOLED is just more battery efficient imo especially since the g6 is going to have an always on display now
I really like the G6 the only thing I font like is the LG logo on front, it makes the bottom bezel look bigger. I can cover it anyway with a skin I'm guessing
Dual camera doesn't even matter when it takes worse pictures. And the G6 isn't cheaper, since you're getting 32GB instead of 64GB storage. Compare the 64GB G6 vs the S8 and then the price difference vanishes.
I'm going with the HTC G (Giga), it's a lot better than both the S8 & G6! It has IP68, iris scanner, no more camera bump, dual speakers Boom sound, an outstanding QHD IPS display that we finally can perceive in strong daylight, built like a tank, a 3500mAh battery signifying a great use of space, &...&... an headphone jack!!! In other words, so many features we haven't heard of yet in 2018! HTC seems to be a step further this time! Wait....
I like the look of the S8 better, but I might go with the LG g6 since it is cheaper and has all the features I like. The facial recognition scanner and VR are the only feature that might make me choose the S8. The video pillar box is a bit annoying on the g6 too, but hopefully they can correct that with an update.
Jimmy C optimized 821 but still lose to one plus 3t 😂
Jimmy C the touchwiz is gone! there is the graceux now which is closer to pure android (still far from it but closer....) and my s7 doesnt lag at all after 9months of use :D

Jimmy C agreed
Which one is physically taller and wider in your hand (not thickness). I vote for the G6, the wide angle camera is a killer feature for me.
who makes a selfies with the rear camera? or you wanted to say the dual camera in the front? i recall lg v10 and v20 having that only
The main reason I'm sticking with LGG6 is that EVERYBODY that I know it's going to get an S8. I don't like to be like EVERYBODY.
Enrique Ortiz i get it you're a special snowflake
Ahmad is mad.
So you make your choice based on what others choose? Special little snowflake :)

Getting one too. I use the wide angle camera on my G5 all the time, so I need it again! plus the G6 looks sexier...
TheRemcoEh Nice bait.
Had LG phones for the last 4 years. Never had a bootloop. People always bring it up, but really concern about this issue is way overblown.

lg g6 wins wonderful funtional and excellent desing

Like Juan said, no phone camera is versatile like LG. Once you tried Wide Angle Lens, you won't go back. LG G6 all the way #FTW
Yay, more fish eye defects!

LG and Samsung are Korean cousins - I too think the G5 is the most underrated phone ever! For your money now, you can't beat the LG G5. But both are great phones.
I prefer the flat G6, but I do wish LG had a larger option. Maybe a G6+ will come when the 835 is avaliable to them?
The G6 really wowed me when it was announced. Idk why, but the S8 failed to give that "wow" to me. I'd go for the G6, hands down..
Sherwin Seby nice joke

So it's a choice of style over functionality.
I'm a Pixel user but if i had to choose one, the LG G6 everyday of the week.
I've been waiting for this comparison to see the size difference.

The price is will do the trick
Vladimir Majstorovic i heard it's gonna be around $750 for the s8 which ain't that bad considering you'll be getting earbuds valued at $99
Joshua Mawango 800 euros for the S8/900 euros for the S8+
Joshua Mawango after a while it will cost 600 us dollars
in Australia g6 is 1k s8 1.2k s8+ 1.4k
Original when will it drop to 600
Im excited about this i will pre order it tomorrow.
I just have to decide on the color, i like the Orchid Gray but what i think what ruins it a little bit is the two white things that can be seen under the phone here 4:33
I dont know alot about phones so i dont know what those are, but on the black version, you cant see them this clearly because they are black
how's the loud speaker on the s8 plus because s7 edge loud speaker was terrible
IP68 will make the S8s' loud speakers wack again, on certain limits at least, unfortunately.
Anyway, on the audio department, LG has been overkilling Samy since at least the V10. But now that the G6 is IP68 too & Samsung considering (finally?) the audio concern, this could effectively change :)
Yeah but lg g6 loud speakers are better than lg G5 even though g6 is ip68
Oh yeah didn't know it, then I see your point even more. That's a nice perf from LG then :)
Yup I hope Samsung got it right this time
I just tried out an S8 in Bestbuy today. Wow, I'm impressed. That tall, narrow screen makes it easy to hold in one hand.

James Schaeffer yeah it kind of does
Just my opinion. No trolling intended.
How in the f*** was your comment construed as trolling by that asshat?! I think the number of thumbs up your comment got says it all.
I like The Galaxy S8 better Then LG G6 because the S8 has better feel in hand then G6 and S8 has eye res scanner for extra protection so no one can steal your information from your account then G6
correction, g6 does have app scaling to fit screen
Jerry Bowers was looking for this coment
got my lg g6 today and ou it's beautiful
0:42 Ratio 18.5:9 for the Galaxy and also 'Qualcomm'... And why does the battery stat have '(S8)' on the G6 side?
Just saying! :P
After owning the V20 and 7 Plus, going back to a non-dual camera setup is going to be a downer, but that S8+ looks too good to pass up.
Eric Ortiz hey atleast its not 720p like apple or lcd like lg...lol
persian empire Amoled is great, but I honestly have no problem with LG's LCD panels or the FHD resolution for the display on the 7 Plus.

Cmon guys!!
G6! S8 just an updated S7 Edge
KIANDRE SMITH so is g6 and s7 edge has a better battery screen res etc
KIANDRE SMITH which is barely an upgrade over the G5... your point?
If the G5 wasn't so poorly built nobody would give a shit about the G6
Big Mo Facts. All you need is a G5 with a case
Real DNA Exactly. And the wide angle cam is incredible.
coming from the G Flex 2 I have now, I'm leaning more towards the G6. however, the S8, as with every Galaxy S series phone, has some really interesting features.
G6

Juan Bagnell is a nice reviewer,
I followed him before he was still not on pocketnow and had his own channel.
I already bought the LG G6... and I regret nothing.
0:42 Why is (S8) beside some of the LG G6 specs???
Not sure what I'm getting yet. The price on the G6 is tempting.
I would pick the LG G6 for one reason, the screen is too much to the edges that you can't avoid touching it by mistake and since i have owned the s7 edge, it is not that much difference.
I'd take the G6 anyday.
It's definitely a hard call, between the S8/+ and the G6. There are few things that I am either concerned or do not like about the new S8/+:
Have to wait for Juan's real audio review on this.
the Samsung looks so sexy!! i am concern about the battery small!!
All in all, these 2 phones are going to come down to 2 things for most people:
Personal preference in how it feels for you...
So torn on which one to get. Right now I have a LG G4 and it works fine, but still contemplating one of these.
G6 any day, the fingerprint placement on the S8 is a no no and screen looks a little too narrow.
watching it on my LG G2, I'm still keeping it...not upgrading, yet. I think the G2 is one of the greatest G series of all time. It was a great flagship back in the day and I still use it and still works great even if I'm stuck at Android 4.2.2 everything stock.
lg for me is more reliable i have had Samsung and lg and lg proved to be more lasting even with less spec
Hamzah Kattab Yeah I loved the bootloop on my G4 and v10 -.-
I loved not having the bootloop issue on my G4, G5, V10, and V20.
+Denis Müller That's news of 2 years ago, the G6 won't have any issues with bootloops, nor will the V30
I would imagine in real world usage (not speed tests) the difference in processing power is negligible
PLAYER SLAYER it irks me that lg didn't go V8, V10, V12, V16 like engines.
Galaxy S8 R. I. P Tempered Glass screen protectors
J C hhh why
DB_Nation because there is no good Tempered Glass screen protectors for curved displays
can't wait for your real audio review Juan!
lg g6 is my choice.
Lg G6 for me. i just scrolled and wow everyone prefers the G6 mostly on this video.
I am also impressed. 80% of the people in this comment section prefer G6. wow!!!
And poll show majority prefers the S8. I guess the people prefering the S8 doesn't feel the need to motivate or defend their decision.
I bought LG G3 a few months after it got released. Its 2017 now and my mom is using it. It still works fine. She has no complaints with it. I'll probably gift her G6 this year.
Anyone remember a few years ago when everyone was making jokes about how iPhones got taller every year
It's kinda ironic how Samsung and LG are doing that instead
Ashoi F It the other way round buddy.
Ismail Tony (Valkyrie) How? does no one remember this
cdn.iphoneincanada.ca/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/iPhone-5-Tall.jpg
Back when s3 release Apple fans made it a joke simply because iPhone 4 is smaller www.google.co.uk/search?q=all+galaxy+phones&prmd=sivn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj-75ysmv3SAhVJCMAKHbJfAT0Q_AUICCgC&biw=360&bih=560#tbm=isch&q=galaxy+s1+to+s7&*&imgrc=mGGvGAIK7-7bnM:
Ashoi F Apple only started the high bandwagon with 6 compare to it predecessor 5 and 4
Ashoi F apple did it at the expense of physical phone size while lg and samsung did it at the expense of bezels rather than increase phone size ..
I'll take the LG, knowing it'll probably be better to unlock the bootloader. Not a fan of the skins. Lol! Hey Josh
I just got my G6! It's awesome! I think it'll be the best phone of the year. One highlight is the wide angle lens. It has a really cool GoPro-esque fisheye effect which makes taking photos extra fun.
Team LG!
Really debating if I want to get it
I'd take the LG any day. S8 edge screens look so narrow
it's 18:9 on the G6 and 18.5:9 on the S8, it's the same thing 🙄
There's no such phone as the S8 Edge
Louis Kévin some of it is taken by those edges
he's trying to say the edges on the S8 looks too narrow.
cant say til u hold the phone
Please try to get a hold of a Korean G6 so that you can compare the Quad DAC version to the S8.
leaning to LG because it'll probably have better audio, the wide angle camera, and because Samsung seem to be doubling down on bloatware
Can you check the DAC quality when you have the device?
I'm on team not spending £700 on a phone...
I've got the LG G6 right now. I have a desk job so I don't use a case. The G6 feels solid in the hand and can be confidently used case-free. I don't even want to look at the S8 without a case on it.
i would choose the LG G6, bigger batter (3.300vs3000) and dual camera, and price :P
The Craft Dude the battery size doesnt mean better battery life...
opaliittiopa I know that, but it does give it an advantage, and since it uses an older processor, then it might have a chance for better battery life hopefully
opaliittiopa Just look at Sony, great battery life with just a small battery though or Apple Iphone - the thing you have to compare to orther android smartphones.
Yeah but sony phones arent widely available/known

When will anyone tell Juan that the S8's screen format is actually 18_.5_:9, which does not reduce to 2:1?
#TeamG6 ❤️
#LGForever . . .
Count me in! #LGG6ForTheWin
I've been Lg since the g2 but now going from the v10 which I loved to the s8+
Antonio Gómez Bañuelos Team bootloop. Team overheating batteries. Team pore built. LG huh?
LG g6
Let's hope it has a great DAC and AMP! Can you compare with the V20? Cheers!
I don't know why, but I like the g6 better
I need lg camera but Samsung amoled display but I also want flat screen like on lg g6 but I also want Samsung's exynos processor but with lg g6 fingerprint placement... Can I get all this on one phone..??
G6 for me. Prefer flat screen and dual camera.
LG G6 for me.
I like how there's so much team "LG g6"...when it's losing by 30 percent on the polls😂 lol
60/40 right now. Considering how much Samsung dominates in sales, that's FAR from a runaway for the GS8...
F that.. I am team "my pocket" I will stick with $650 G6!
How do you quick launch the camera on the s8?
Everyone is team LG, I have a g5 so I'll say s8
Samsung: we improved the looks... we also kinda reduced the battery and didn't really improve any of the exterior hardware. oh well
g6 for now
andcroid bueties? lol, my vibrator
Hello friend, what do you recommend the LG g6 or the pixel xl?
I'm leaning towards the LgG6. I LOVE SAMSUNG BUT THE COST WILL BE THE DEAL BREAKER.
seems noone is telling us about the speaker. did stereo speakers make the cut?
g6 for me. for some reason Samsung phones get slow after a few months of use.
Not necessarily, my S6 is still rocking better than at its 1st oppening, thx to a great ROM custom.
Conclusion: it depends on how we use it :)
I meant to say laggy
pedro ribe It's a problem with TouchWiz. Some users's phones slow down and lag after only a few months, while others don't have any noticeable slowdowns. As far as I can tell, it's a hit or miss situation.
I have a 7 edge and it lags a good amount and I bought it in August, I'm just gonna wait till the iPhone 8 because idk if I want another laggy (but beautiful) phone
that's not the case with my S7
anyways, I guess better have a laggy phone, than a phone known for its bootloader's issues
you are using the lg g6 . what do you think about the camera .compare to the galaxy 8 ? I'm thinking about getting the lg g6 . free 49"tv .free Google home on sprint ..
G6 for me
Waiting for the audio review Mr. Bagnell 😀 Based on the audio jack quality i'll order one, thanks.
I think I'm going to g6 this time
I love LG, I owned the G2, G3, G4 and the G5. I will still go for the LG6 this year once it is release here in the Philippines,
the edges on the Galaxy are a gimmick the fingerprint sensor is awkwardly placed it'll show down a lot in a couple of months and that Samsung skin is horrendous and the battery is tiny only complaint about the g6 is I wish it had AMOLED instead of lcd
Abdullah Fazal why? AMOLED burns in...LCD is better it doesn't burn in and colors look more natural
yogosans14 I never had a amoled samsung "burn in". Never
yogosans14 they don't burn in anymore lol but AMOLED is just more battery efficient imo especially since the g6 is going to have an always on display now
I really like the G6 the only thing I font like is the LG logo on front, it makes the bottom bezel look bigger. I can cover it anyway with a skin I'm guessing
I'm liking the g6 better than the s8
that's by far the best DBrand ad I've ever seen
lg g6 much better than s8+ and it's price is also less
Akshat Gupta how it is better? maybe software but not that much? Camera isnt that much better (tho i love the wideangle lens
Dual camera doesn't even matter when it takes worse pictures. And the G6 isn't cheaper, since you're getting 32GB instead of 64GB storage. Compare the 64GB G6 vs the S8 and then the price difference vanishes.
Stubby Reason *Note 7
Look how gorgeous g6 looking back😍
opaliittiopa lg g6 has more better camera than s8
I have a lg v20 and dual cameras are the way to go. Samsung it doesn't deserve to be considered for best camera this year.
Wait....
I thought this is real for a sec until I tried to google it
My mission is over then, the Sarcasm divinity valited me :D
+Bob Coco is that HTC Giga as in Giggity??
I like the look of the S8 better, but I might go with the LG g6 since it is cheaper and has all the features I like. The facial recognition scanner and VR are the only feature that might make me choose the S8. The video pillar box is a bit annoying on the g6 too, but hopefully they can correct that with an update.
