This is silly. Any journeyman is not going to have a problem making two accurate marks. But I suppose this is good as a safety measure for someone still learning.
This tip was aimed at beginners, but also helps if someone was to make one of their marks incorrect, etc. But even pro's, when working with high dollar wood, can take a few seconds to make sure their marks are right. Measure twice, cut once. Lol
