Helldivers 2 - gas strike carries me against bugs (Helldive Solo)

- One of my favorite missions to play solo because of all the bug breaches. Gas strike was able to get me a lot of multikills and the jump pack is always a hoot to bring with.
What are some bug builds you guys like to try solo (or in a group)?

Man, hunters are the most terrifying enemy in the entire game. Despite all the wacky deaths, good job not dying to your own acid gas... that is my forte.
Man what a wild ass match. Most fun I've had watching this game in a minute! Bonus points those two casual supply drop kills. Even MORE bonus points for getting flattened by a dead bile titan 🤣
Nuke nursery and geological survey are the “bug breach” missions that are very fun. Chances for stalkers are generally high on those though
I’ve rediscovered gas strike against the bugs. I feel there is so much more chaff to work through than before. If overwhelmed, I through the gas strike at my feet and run in the open direction. Works every time.

hunters can leap through walls anytime they like
Not sure if you knew or not but if you’re walking forward while firing any of the anti-tank launchers and hit their leg it will strip behemoth chargers leg armor in one shot. I find it a bit quicker and more ammo efficient than shooting them in their head twice. Great gameplay though!

I used to main gas strike but ive not run it for a while. I'm loving the new commando launcher against bile titans, a bit hairy against chargers tho because theres so many but i run stuns so not too bad. Also just my opinion, the blitzer is better than incendiary breaker in some ways. No reload, multi targets like the breaker, tons of stagger and knockback. The only downside is no DOT.
It also doesn’t damage enemies that are right up on you.
I always run the blitzer against bugs

I love the blizter on bugs its my go to when running separated from the group or if the node has a lot of spewers but I will say it has major downsides:
A) struggles to hit the flying rats
B) cant target eggs etc
c) cant hit the exposed charger legs 99% of the time.
D) Dry fire is killer sometimes
I've been really enjoying the tendi when I want a break from it tho!
What are you pressing to highlight all the samples and EATs on the ground? Their icons dont pop up for me unless i am atanding on them.
For me I am on PC and I use the mark/ping button which is “Q” for me and that’s how I’m able to call stuff out and mark it on my HUD. Hope that helps and thanks for checking out the video!
good to see gas strike, kind of an underused stratagem. hopefully a napalm strike gets added.
edit: holy crap your throws are insane.
with napalm eagle, napalm seaf artillery, and basically napalm mines, I doubt a napalm orbital strike would make any sense being added.
We’re also getting a napalm grenade launcher, and there’s 2 incendiary grenades, and a flamethrower… so much ‘fire’power. Lol.
Thanks, and I definitely want to do a DOT build showcase in the future. Something fun maybe like incendiary mines and the gas strike, haha.
