How to lock a folder on windows 10, 8, 8.1, or 7

    what if the "Whatever"document file get deleted??

      If you set the folder to deny any other person of touching it, it shouldn't get deleted. But if for some reason it does just check the recycling bin. But I'll look into making a video on recovering completely deleted files soon!

    My hopes went high when I saw name of your video, but unfortunately it doesn't work on my windows 8.1.
    I used similar bat file on my win10 and it worked perfectly, even when not hidden, all was locked and unvisible.
    Until copied to windows 8.1. There when hidden items are not hidden, the folder is still there named ControlPanelXXXXX.
    And this bat file of yours does the same. :/
