I use mine to get around France and to be fair it’s great (although did take a bit of getting used to; you do need to put the ignition on and look for the helmet symbol to turn green. Going forward it’ll be a great back up but I’m looking to install a bar above the clocks to attach my iPhone to

Yuve changed the clock in time to change it again next month for BST!! I always think that sat navs in general are designed to use the grid system of streets in a lot of north America so when they have to deal with our hap hazard streets and lanes they can struggle.

You make a valid point. I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment 😂

Mine's a 2023 bike, but I think the software should be the same on all of them. I'll take a look next time I turn it on

My new 411 did not come with tripper, the dealer said they were not popular due to small screen size and all the latest (last) batches of 411 did not have them.

I heard that part of the reason was supply chain issues in the aftermath of COVID, although I'm not entirely sure which years were affected.

@@TheHimalayanDiaries Not sure mine was built around september / october 2023 and no tripper, a friend bought one a few months ago build spring 2023, has tripper. I am not disappointed in it not having it.

@@esrider7765 I'm happy to have it, but if it wasn't on there when I brought it I don't think I'd go out of my way to fit it in all honesty

@@TheHimalayanDiaries Agreed a mobile is probably a lot better as long as its water resistant.

Glad you had a bit of luck connect your app to the sat-nav. My phone well not connect, all it comes up with, on the phone, is. (Could not save. try again later) Even my partner's phone, well not, connect. I'll give it a 0 out of 10

Sorry to hear that Andy, I've heard that a lot of people have had similar issues. 😔

I have found the whole set up and connection reliability to be a piece of ****

Hi Steve, I hadn't really used it again since making the video, until last week. It had randomly unpaired itself and I had to go through the whole set up procedure again. Very frustrating!

I have followed the instructions to the letter, and I can't even get a code to scan from the tripper. I am trying it again now, but there's only a limited number of hours of my life I shall never get back. I so it's off to the bin with it. Thanks for the video

Sorry to hear you can't get it to work. Sadly, I don't think you're the only 😔. It really hasn't had the best feedback
