Top Thrill Dragster News Update

That old looking Box, with the Zamperla label on it?? That's most likely been placed there, because Tony Clark is Yanking EVERYONE'S CHAIN!! This project is being done by Intamin. Cedar Point didn't have all the Original Top Thrill Dragster Track stacked up So Neatly, with Much TLC if it was going to Be Scrapped, and Not to be put in Shipping Containers for Scrapping. That Track went Back to Intiman to be Recycled, and Refurbished to accommodate The New Launching and Braking Systems. And there's not going to be Lightning Trains from, Can't Get The Wildmouse Rollercoaster Operating Properly, From Zamperla! After the Original Top Thrill Dragster Trains were removed in February of 2022, right after the Ohio DOA finished their investigation, a Train was on a RUclips video being shipped, on a Cedar Point Flatbed Truck, giving everyone the idea that The Trains were being delivered to Knott's Berry Farm for Spare Parts on Excelarator. Well How funny that the Former Top Thrill Dragster Trains were spotted this past Spring, before Park Opening, right next to The Blue Streak. Like All the The Former Top Thrill Dragster Track. The Trains are Going to be Reused, and Get Rethemed to look like Formula 1 Indy Racing Cars. And the Polaris Name isn't even Trademarked No Long. It was put in File 13(🗑️) after Kings Island went with The Orion Name. THANK GOD!! Polaris is Such a Dumbass Name!! 🤣

@@TheCoasterJosh right everytime I saw that rumor I always laugh lol the spike is probably going to be the new thing on this coaster. It would been cool if the added a zero g roll or a zero g stall but I don't think that is happening.

I think since the old dragster was about drag racing this new ride will be more about track. So maybe it will have smthn where every train that dispatchs will have to beat the previous lap time.

Exactly! As much as I’d love a regular or inverted top hat, it’s just wishful thinking at this point.

I don't think we will see any height records on this. It will be a backwards launch from the station up a small spike tall enough to add enough speed that the remaining length of straight track post station can get the train over the top with LSM technology...and that is all. In the end I think the final reveal will be a disappointment compared to the hopes we all have.

Dual towers, not a spike. No need to apply for an FAA designation for higher clearance, only my guess!!!

Really wish this was an Intamin project, would have been so much better. I'll be honest, after learning that zamperla is doing this, my excitement for this has completely gone down the drain.
