This sounds like a composer was having a seizure and waving the baton all over the place, but occasionally snaps out of it every 10 seconds or so only to start having a seizure, and also dragonforce is there for some reason.
this is a music equivalent of a loaf of bread that looks edible when you buy it but then realize its like a month past expiration and half of the slices are just covered in mold.
To be honest, I think it is a total mess, but absolutely enthralling. Some of the riffs actually go hard. The Castlevania bit is a horrifically beautiful mess
I had this fucking game and despite playing it all of maybe five times after having bought it, when it was still considered new enough to be on store shelves and not in the bargain bin, I still remember all three of the ones I listened to thus far here.
Everybody in this commments section keeps saying "Doom attempt" But this is definitely more akin to a Bruce Falconer DBZ soundtrack. Tell me I'm wrong.
To be honest in 1998 the Doom games released at that point were all MIDI/Adlib(albeit with some Metal influences) but they didn't really have real guitars like this. The Descent II redbook soundtrack was probably more "metal" in a traditional sense than the OG Doom games were.
@ZergRushJohnny That does seem to make a hell of a lot of sense. Besides, I do kind of get an "endless staircase" feel from some of the others, so this wouldn't be strange at all.
Honestly it feels like this composer can’t decide whether or not he sucks at his job or is amazing at it.
So apparently these are all demo tracks, and the game was made in only 2 weeks.
Luxandhonor i know that now, so the quality does make sense, at least.
@@luxandhonor5101 it's not, it came from an album called omnipresent

when you try to be doom but fail miserably
This sounds like a composer was having a seizure and waving the baton all over the place, but occasionally snaps out of it every 10 seconds or so only to start having a seizure, and also dragonforce is there for some reason.
And at the end his seizure destroyed his muscles and his hand was just barely twitching squeezing out and what little was left at the end of the song
And he also promptly shat his insides out
🖕Dragonforce and 🖕you

This sounds like it’s trying its hardest to be music but it’s having constant panic attacks
You could say this song is a realistic depiction of a panic attack.
The song has a severe case of stage fright
The ending reminded me of the beeping you'd hear at the hospital. Which is where I'm gunna be if I hear this again.
It flatlines XD
2:32 - hits the *grey poupon*
1:56 slaps kinda hard

me too lmao I begged my mom for it at the time, saw it on the top shelf at toys r us I think
I'd like to know who the musicians were cus they made some pretty kickass music for this game.
Todd Duane

Ooh
I imagine this is what Bruce Falconer's DBZ soundtrack sounds like to people that hate it.

This is what you get when you combine the soundtracks of Doom and Metroid Fusion
?
Why do I keep getting Super Mario 64 flashbacks whenever the synths come up?
This is almost as good as Limp Bizkit
But still better than Limp Biscuit.

not going to lie, 0:54 and 2:32 actually sound nice

this reminds me of the resident evil dualshock basement theme, atleast the beginning
0:54 this riff goes hard, reminds me of the rising fighting spirit from Naruto
You probably watched ALOT of Super Mario 64 Corruptions!
*sees extreme paintbrawl 1 to 4* fuck these games .
2:33 Is this part trying to be something like Castlevania or one of the guitar parts in Black Veil Brides' Wretched and Divine?

@TackyRackyComixNEO It's about the era these were composed and performed.
