It's good to see FOBOS taking off.. been a fan for years and have the original tier 1c in 3V. You can chop down trees all day with it (or human parts). A knife in combat can be anything.. prying doors open, digging a hole, chopping things all day and this thing was/is perfection.
Great vid. Honestly love these blades even more when you can listen to Erik explain his design points. These are well made, well thought out instruments of precision that I trust when it matters. Can’t wait for more from both of you!
Thanks! It was fun to film and listen to the thought process. I was interested in hearing his ideas unfold and I'm thrilled at how this interview turned out! Thanks for watching!
Lookin good my man! Great to see you. As always, I appreciate your insight. So stoked to add a few more of your functional works of art to my stable this year!
Its crazy you say Memphis. I was in memphis over by Graceland in october fueling up my truck. I had no less than 12 vehicles pull up to the opposite side pump with atleast one broken window. On top.of that, tons of people buying and selling drugs right out in the open. I had my family in the truck and the entire time i was on edge thinking something was going to happen. God blessed and protected us and nothing happened but I was definitely on edge.
@@ryanjordan7268 Amen to that. It's not easy to have your head on a swivel when you have tons of stimulation coming from passing vehicles, people walking every which way, sirens in the distance, pan handlers etc. God was definitely looking out for us. Thanks for your reply. It seems DLT has the most selection of Fobos blades. I definitely want the MAGNACUT. Super steel for the W.
@@erikhansen8235 I'm going back there for 2024. I hunted North East TN and I want to go back for one more run at the deer there. This year I'm going to make sure when I'm in Memphis that I need to be on the better side of town. Thanks for commenting and stay safe.
@@erikhansen8235 excellent, the Tier1 BC ergonomics are fantastic fits like a glove in my hand, the weight and balance is great, simply love it. Looking forward to my next FOBOS purchase. Thank you very much for all your efforts in designing such great products.
Hopong to add a Fobos to the survival/camp knife roatation in the future. People only seem to have good things to say about function and they are sexy knives.

yep Memphis is rough country for sure. You have to be equipped to shut down the nonsense before it gets started.
Thank god 🙏 you didn't have any violent incidents! Situational awareness is critical for urban survival.

So does anyone know who made the tier 1 bc for fobos? Was it Barkriver?
it was not Barkriver....
