The 25th ARM in Caen requires a strong force to beat and as I see it we will need 25th Pz in a attack on Cambrai to see any progress. I must admit I was surprised to see the Allied Battle Plan "Deploy". I had forgotten that existed! Also now realised how few Supplies the Axis have and how hard they are to earn. I am not even sure my initial idea to take Cherbourg were that good. An elite 25thPz I think we need to use in attacks as much as possible.
The 25th in Caen needs to be taken on the defensive, better not let it attack. Taking Paris was good, it prevented allied forces there - so good advice there. We now control the better part of southern France. I do think, as you, that Cambrai is next. Particularly now that the belgians fled west. Tense game, I will do another session later this week :)
some unlucky roles there! this game can be tough on you with a single roll weighing so heavily. You are doing ok though, considering the rolls, and making some considered decisions. Looking like a good general :)
Yeah, but I think the key is to be superior in all attacks and get those tanks from the reserves on as soon as possible. That means not letting the game decide on single die rolls if I loose or win, rather seize the initiative and dictated the result with superior odds! Also I am reading a Rommel biography, that should do the trick ;)
