You probably caught this one, but you forgot to put a monster on the Plateau of Leng when it spawned. And I said this earlier, but I usually head to Tokyo to try to deal with Epic Monsters when they come out, they have some good nukes in there. (And as I was finishing up the comment, you caught the lack of monster down at the South Pole.) Also, I've never seen a die like the one you've rolled for some of the effects. Is it a double six-sided die?
Yes. My evil die is a doublesix dice. A d12 with 2xD6 markings, rolls pretty well. It was a kickstarter thing a while back. You can get it here (I am unaffiliated) doublesix-dice.myshopify.com/ I have a question about the Tokyo approach, from my reading of the rules I dont think you can kill of epic monsters with effects that target monsters. You can damage it, but you need to get it for the final blow. Is that how you play it as well? It may be a valid approach to weaken it from Tokyo though. Ah, next time :) Thanks for commenting by the way. I appreciate it.
The way I play it, if the card says "Damage monster on space" then the Epic Monster is valid, including death blows. If it says "Move monster" or "remove monster from board" then the Epic Monster isn't a valid target. So, if you get a card in Tokyo that says "If you pass (test), target monster receives 3 damage", then the Dunwich Horror would be valid, even if it kills it. Sometimes, that's the only way I can get some good damage on the monsters, especially if I've randomly drawn Investigators that are lousy at physical damage dealing
Love the series. This like watching a movie but with the uncertainty of a sport.

Yuppers. That's our interpretation too. Japan is good at fighting huge monsters. Who knew? :3
