- Eventually the Protestant Reformation would drive the Puritans to not only separate themselves from the church by doctrine, but also by distance. The Pilgrims headed for the New World, where freedom of conscience would take hold in a way not seen in any other civil experiment in human history. Join John Bradshaw on location in New England and discover how the Puritans shaped the cornerstones of the American experience and of the final stages of the Protestant Reformation. Features special guest Dr. Lincoln Steed.

Thanks for a great show! Love it, as always!
There is a wall of spiritual separation. it’s called them: 10 Commandment keeping, Christian, and us: Sunday, legalistic worship.
I sat at my sister in law’s kitchen table about 7 + years ago, to hear her say, “So Be It!” when I told her, one day the Sunday keepers (which she has been her entire life) will (one day) want to have the Sabbath keepers killed.
This is someone who called me Sis.

Well...
Jesus Christ our Great and Kind God and Savior, built His Church on Peter the rock, way before the new testament was even written or its canon later determined. Faith alone and Scripture alone are man made traditions not found in Holy Scripture, or the Church authority that existed way before the new testament. You are in my prayers! Peace always in Jesus Christ our Great and Kind God and Savior, He whose Flesh is True food and Blood True drink
I am of Christ...
