Hey Lewis, that's a pain mate😥 First confirm you are tdc on compression stroke on number one. Then just keep turning it slowly until it stops. Hope it goes well mate👍

Hey mate, you must be excited to get that done😊 love it when the rebuilt pump arrives 🎉 Do you mean the 3 x pump mounting nuts and the one to the rear bottom of the pump? I dont torque those, I just nip them up by hand. Hope that helps🤔 cheers
Those images what are backward do my head in, make sure your camera is not taking the mirror image, as then, my brain has to undo that mess while watching.

I use a phone camera and hold in front of gear take a shot then look at photo to know if zs are lined up.
the ve fuel injector timing tool, ive searched them up on ebay and its coming up with toyota 1hz. does it really matter if i get it for a td42 12mm
Hey mate, Yeah that is the same one, as long as it says "VE style" the Toyota's and Nissan's ran the same ve style pump for a while..

Dang if they aint left hand threads. Mine had scribed lines on the pump and sandwich plate, but I'm not sure it's as accurate as this.
